The PMs pool maintenance company quoted us $1000 to $1800 and probably 2 to 3 visits to fix it. My wife called around and got the best comfort level from Premier Pool Enterprises (not to be confused with Premier Pools and Spas in Alpharetta). Austin came out today, had the part with him, assessed for what would have cost $125 if we had not moved forward with the repair, and offered to fix the entire thing, new control board, igniter and labor for $700, including the assessment. He fixed it and took the time to stay around long enough to make sure it was working. In addition, he cycled it on an off multiple times and observed it. The office politely took my credit card for payment and offered to mail a receipt. Everyone involved was very polite and Austin was in a uniform. I was working in my basement office so I never saw whether they use lettered company vehicles. Overall, as a general manager of a service company myself, this was the type of service we strive to provided and an all too rare experience to have as a consumer. Given that the property manager maintains the rest of the pool except for the heater, we probably won't have a call to use them again, but I understand they also build pools, so maybe in our next home.

From the day that we signed the contract to just under two months later, our dream of a tropical oasis in our backyard was complete. You read that correctly - it took seven weeks for them to complete our pool!! Talk about record time. We even encountered a week or two of endless rain and they still were able to move quickly and meet their estimated timeline. The communication and support we received from each person on the team was EXCELLENT! Chris Horton, the owner, was knowledgeable and easy to work with. He took our vision and created 3D renderings, bringing the project to life. The Project Manager, Steven Ginn, was our daily go-to contact. He answered our endless list of questions with thorough explanations and created clear timelines regarding next steps. His communication was top notch - days, evenings, and even weekends. He was ALWAYS available to assist. When the project was nearly completed, we had the unfortunate luck of a monsoon- type storm that resulted in a muddy, cloudy pool. Steven and team raced to action as soon as we notified them, as they didn't want the new pool to suffer any damage. They resolved the issue very quickly and took measures to ensure that it wouldn't happen again. They reacted as if it was their pool being muddied, not just "some customer." The rush to action racing across town to help, standing in the pouring rain to resolve the issue, and following up daily demonstrated their professionalism, commitment to our well being, and true ownership of the entire project. 10 out of 10 services, definitely recommend! After waiting 2 weeks for my hot tub repair, the tech never showed and they never tried to contact…read moreme. I even confirmed the appointment a few days before because I forgot the time of the appt. I wasted a vacation day for that. I called them the following week and they rescheduled saying it was a scheduling error. No worries, they do send some folks to fix my hot tub a couple days later. But, instead of replacing the broken part, they decided to try to caulk it instead. 10 minutes later, they're on their way. I followed their instructions and kept the hot tub off 2 days to allow time for the caulk to dry. However, after 2 days, the heater was leaking the same amount of water as before. It wasn't a bad leak and I totally understand why they tried caulk but at least give me a credit if the jerry-rig doesn't work. $135 / hour is a lot of money for effectively nothing. After noticing the leak wasn't fixed, I called back to get an estimate for the actual repair. It has been weeks and they have never gotten back to me and they have never offered a credit for their bad advice and workmanship. If you're willing to pay $135 for nothing, please feel free to give them a call.
