Came to Wilson's last May & had a great experience--good food & nice patio. Decided to return & won't be back. The food was fine--apps are overpriced, but the sandwich was good. The biggest problem were the other customers inside and a total lack of management to do anything about it. My friend & I went for a late Saturday lunch. The place was still pretty busy, but we found a table & ordered. Next to us were a group of "hip" parents with small children who we initially thought were leaving. Instead of sitting to eat/drink and converse, they stood the entire time we were there, drinking beer & invading our space, being extremely loud, & blocking numerous aisles for at least 2 hours. We were inside & not in the bar area. It was riduculous. When I looked around for a manager to deal with the situation, I couldn't find one. They seem to only hire teenagers as staff. Everyone else in the restaurant was seated and having a nice time. My friend was extremely uncomfortable & we could barely hear each other speak. This is clearly not a place for child-free adults to come have a drink & chat. I made sure my entire friend group knows that & will not be back. read more

I've been to Wilson's about a half-dozen times so it's time for a review. The place is large and airy with an old warehouse/factory feel to it and there is plenty of out-door seating. Wilson's is attached to the Lynnwood Brewing Concern (LBC) brewery next door by high-top table lined walkway and by shared ownership -- Wilson's is an extension of the LBC business and features (all?) of the LBC beers on tap. I've tried Wilson's flatbread pizzas, torta (pork) sandwich, crispy chicken sandwich, broccoli salad and numerous styles of beer. I love Wilson's! I probably eat here once per month and visit LBC much more often than that. The manager, Aaron is the absolute sweetest manager I've ever met in the restaurant business. I even see him pitching in on the order line or cleaning up after guests. Wilson's food is fantastic but if you haven't had Belle's double burger, you're missing something heavenly in your life. I saw this place while driving by one day and thought the outside looked fun. Finally decided to go on a late Saturday afternoon. Had no idea that it was a combined place with Lynnwood Grill. This place is huge so we didn't have to wait long for a table outside. The alcohol is provided by Lynnwood Grill Brewing and the food is made by Wilson's eatery. So don't expect to get the same food you could get at Lynnwood Grill. There are a lot of cute places to sit like the Greenhouses. They are literally small greenhouses with benches & twinkle lights inside that a party up to 6 can fit. So fun except not sure how they are going to be in the summertime. Dogs are welcomed and it is a great place for families. The only reason I gave it 4stars is because the ordering process is confusing & a bit too complicated. There is no servers outside, we thought we had to go wait in line to order. But online ordering is the way to go. None of the ordering process is communicated clearly so that entire thing needs to have the kinks worked out. But other than that it's a great new addition to Raleigh and I highly recommend this place. read more

Food was so-so. We got 2 flatbreads that were very greasy and the flatbread was so flimsy (almost underdone) that it couldn't hold up to all the cheese and grease. The chopped salad ironically didn't have anything chopped, large pieces of lettuce, slices of onion, sliced cucumbers etc. It was ok - basic. I went to Wilson's Eatery before a concert at the amphitheater in Raleigh. My group was in the mood for burgers, and I had Wilson's on my list of places to try. The restaurant is very casual with indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered at the counter, and then found a seat. It was crowded outside, but it was easy to find an empty table. Inside had plenty of seating. We ordered Ell Bell's burger, fried chicken sandwich, Torta, and Grilled cheese (kid's menu). Sides are not included, but we did order them separately. Those included fries, Mac and cheese, and broccoli salad. The fries good standard fries and a must with the burger. The broccoli salad was good, but not the best I ever had. The mac and cheese was pretty standard, but my daughter wasn't a fan. Not sure if it was because it was beer cheese. I love root beer, so get it if you are a fan too. The beer selection is great too with seasonal options. I would come back for a burger and fries when in the area for sure. read more

Cannot comment on the food but am eager to leave this belated review in regards to the awful, unprofessional service. Walked over from LBC during one of the US women's soccer games. Despite it not being busy, it took a solid 5 minutes for bartender to greet us and make us subpar, over priced drinks, despite us sitting at the bar. She we too busy conversing with coworkers (one slicing deli meat) and when I coughed for attention/service, they finally recognized me and said "she's waiting for her mom to come pick her up." If you can get a seat at the bar, I think I would like this place better. Its just weird to have to stand in line to order, go sit down to pick your food up which paying premium pricing for wine. My husband and I wanted to have another beer but we would have had to stand in line again to close out another tab just to have another beverage with our food. Wilson's eatery is an awesome new addition to ITB! The location next to Lynwood Brewery is awesome as well and will be a great spot to get a casual bite after a few brews. My boyfriend and I both had the burger and fries. I was pleasantly surprised that this is one of my new favorite burgers in Raleigh. It was simple but so so good. The only weird thing was that it was a bit confusing to order with sitting at the bar but there is an order window which I assume is for when the bar is busier. Glad that Lynnwood added a food option though I'm a little disappointed that this means that there won't be constant food trucks rotating through! The food is pretty good though - I've had the torta and the double cheeseburger, both delicious! The broccoli salad is amazing. The Mac N Cheese on the other hand is average and sort of disappointing. My one gripe is that their notification system for when your food is ready to be picked up is text based. It's nice if you want to go back to the other side and hang out while you wait for your food, but on the other hand my phone died once after I ordered my food so the text notification was sort of worthless in that case. My kids and I absolutely loved Wilson's Eatery! We were looking for good food (specifically a good burger) and a cool place to hangout and enjoy the beautiful weather (which was incredibly lovely after dealing with cold and rain for months). The restaurant is super clean and the decor is cool. The interior is beautiful and the outdoor seating area is really chill and relaxing. I also loved that people had their dogs With them. Pet friendly places are so awesome. Definitely bringing ours next time. I loved that you order and they text you when your food is ready (although it also caused me a little bit of stress, because my phone was on 5% and about to die ). The staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. Now to the food! We ordered the pork nachos, the burger, fries, Mac and cheese, and the cheese pizza from the kid's menu. The pork nachos were really good. I loved that once you got through the first layer, there was still more than enough pork and toppings to enjoy the lower levels of nachos. Very generous and tasty. It was a larger serving, which could easily be shared between 2-3 people. We ended up taking some of it home. The burger - actually a double burger - was excellent. I honestly don't like double burgers, but this one was actually fantastic. The patties are actually thin, which was perfect. They make it with American cheese (which I don't like), but they let me substitute cheddar cheese and it was perfect. The fries and the aioli were tasty. The kid's cheese pizza was actually pretty big, and I didn't think my 8-yo son would eat all of it, but he did! I tasted it as well and it was really cheesy and tasty. I'm usually not very impressed by items off the kid's menu, but this one was really good. My son's favorite food is Max and cheese and he 100% approved of the Mac and cheese, especially because they used shells. I tasted it and agreed with his assessment. The kids also ordered some of their homemade sodas (root beer and cherry cola), which they really liked. For dessert, we tried their Wilson Bar, which is basically an adult rice krispy treat, which was pretty good. They also have cookies of the day, but we didn't try them. We would definitely order any of these items again. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying some of their other items, specifically the fried chicken sandwich! I think this will be one of our favorite summer spots. read more

Swung through Raleigh for the first time to grab some beer to go from a local brewery on my way back to DC. As always, tried to find a spot to eat something quickly that the locals love. Came across Wilson's online and ordered a chicken sandwich and a side of mac & cheese. Service was quick and friendly for pick up, the shell mac was piping hot even though I was 20 minutes beyond my pick up time, and the chicken with pimento, pickled onions and pickles was delightful. There was a bit more grease and extra breading than I normally enjoy, but to each their own. I would eat here again on a drive through anytime and can't wait to try more items on their menu. Offering to go cans from the brewery across the street was also a nice touch! read more

I had a very good burger and fries. This restaurant is different in that you order at the counter and then they text you when your food is ready. It was actually a really convenient and made it easier to go find a table while waiting. We found a nice table outside to eat, but this could be an issue on a cold day because there didn't seem to be much seating indoors. I had the double burger with no cheese and it was delicious. The fries were also great, but I'm not sure they were worth an additional $3. The sauces that came on the side were also delicious, and my friend said that their homemade drinks were amazing. I have to base my review on the food i ordered. I ordered the huevos rancheros off the brunch menu. The first order had a raw, runny egg. The liquid from the egg whites ruined the first batch. The second was better, but they served it in a cardboard tray. It was like eating everything from a bucket. It was all mashed in one small area. I can not recommend the huevos rancheros. We went here over the July 4th holiday. We planned on eating outside, but a sudden torrential rain changed that plan. Fortunately, we found a table inside that could accommodate our party of six. Our daughter highly recommended the BLT. And her husband went with the burger. They cut them in half and shared. We did the same. Everybody got fries, but I went with the broccoli salad. It was so good--very fresh and flavorful. That BLT was probably the BEST I've ever had. I didn't even touch my half of the burger. And I regretted not ordering my own WHOLE BLT. The bar had a great selection of brews, and the bartender was super about recommending ones to suit our likes. Plus, the old loading dock setting is just cool. We've visited the brewery across the parking lot in the past, and had a great time. Love that it has tables for large groups and you can have food from Wilson's delivered there.
