    Tofu Banh Mi20 (1)
    John B.

This is a small place that is a bit receded from the main street and offers Vietnamese cuisine with distinctive flavors, given that the choo chee curry is a Thai flavoring but here it is offered as a banh mi. There are only a couple of outdoor tables, so depending on weather, takeout may be the only realistic option. This does expose one to passersby on the street as well. The banh mi with tofu I got was bursting with flavor, both from the curry, the crisped edge of the bread, and the abundant fresh herbs. It was a little bit too salty and I could have done with less of the salt, but I was glad I tried it.

Was so impressed with this place. This little building with a service window and a few outdoor seating options with amazing options to choose from. Everything I ate here was so so good and this place is so underrated. I would highly recommend. Kitchen staff inside is very friendly as well.

Excellent meal! Every dish we ordered was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend to anyone to try as many dishes as you can! Ambience is nice, only outdoor seating

Can't stop thinking about the delicious Fish Banh Mi ... sharing a photo (this is 1/2 of the full order) per @Steff G's request.

My friend and I got takeout from Little Pig and it was truly delicious! I can't comment much on the ambiance or the service since takeout orders are picked up at a window so you don't even go inside. I will say that everything was ready just about on time (we scheduled for a 5:35 pickup and I got the text that it was ready around 5:45). The woman at the window was very friendly and even threw a couple pieces of candy into our bag. The food was all exceptional. I ordered the tofu banh mi and it was everything I want in a banh mi - crispy bread, crunchy veg, flavorful tofu. There was no spread that I could detect but the tofu had this delicious spicy peanut-y marinade that added a ton of flavor. My friend got the Tom Kha Gai (chicken soup) and GraPow Gai Kai Dow and loved both. I can't wait to go back!

Cool place to sit and eat outside. Delicious food. We hit them at dinner rush so it took a minute but totally worth the wait.

Everything we ate was excellent, service was great, and this is a pick up window only. Few seats outside, but no indoor seating.

Close to more bars for extra drinks, easy to run into other friends. Also, it's a beautiful spot with outdoor seating in the warmer months. We opted to sit outside and enjoyed khao soi, katsu pork sandwich, and the honey soft serve. The portions are generous, as we were able to share and have leftovers. Each plate had so many great textures and flavors. We did experience a long wait between ordering, getting food, and receiving the check. It was a busy summer night so I wasn't upset, but do not plan on having a quick meal here. Get cozy, get an extra drinks and enjoy your time here. Apologies, but phone did not eat first this time-no pics!

Service: Great Food: We started off with soft serve and the seasonal earl gray outshined the house honey. The earl gray had a great flavor topped with an excellent syrup while the honey was mild and the chocolate shell didn't add anything, although the 'honeycomb' bits were delic. Crispy eggplant special - good, very small portion Pork katsu sandwich - pretty solid, interesting pickle Pad mee korat - good, small portion Value: Aside from the soft serve, the portions were very small for ~$17 price point, and the food was good but aside from the earl gray soft serve, didn't amaze to the point of paying a higher price point. Overall I did like this meal but portions were small for prices. I hope they keep the earl gray soft serve around!

Miso soup was delicious and hearty - just what you need on a cold day outside. Both, noodles and fried rice were great. Btw their spice levels are catered to North American taste buds, so if you're an Asian just tell them highest spice levels and you'll probably still feel like moderate. Having said that, great flavours. The staff was nice and friendly. I used the restroom and they were clean and well maintained. Definitely recommended.

First thing to note is that the menu seems to have changed substantially, offering more Thai-adjacent and pan-Asian food than authentically Thai food. I ordered their coconut soup (Tom Kha; $10) to start and a local mushroom bowl as my main--both vegan by default. It took a while for the food to come out--maybe 20 mins for the soup and another 15 for the main. The soup was nicely seasoned, maybe being a bit too thick, and not allowing the galangal/lime leaf to breathe as much as it should. But I liked how it came with red pepper, tomato, mushroom and tofu. The main was not really Thai at all, coming with a rather stingy portion of tempeh, two kinds of mushrooms, red pepper, Lima beans, and microgreens. Reasonably seasoned but just not that interesting. Overall, disappointing relative to my previous experience, but still pretty good.

Lovely decor, even the bathroom is stunning! Clearly a lot of care has been taken on the inside and it shows. A small, intimate experience, but comfy tables and chairs and great staff. The menu is delightful and has a range of usual favorites - Satay, Cucumber Salad, Pad Thai, etc. But, they also have some other dishes I hadn't seen and have a sauce flight option that was cute to get with your fried chicken. We chose a Papaya salad, chicken wings, crying tiger, and a chicken red curry. The papaya salad was stellar. It was a bit spicy but not too much and was so fresh and delicious, I will dream about it! My husband loved the wings and literally devoured all of them. His steak was perfectly cooked and delicious as well. My curry was also perfect - loaded with fresh veggies of which the eggplant was my favorite. Our server, Anna, was wonderful and sweet and very good with our toddler. They had a nice dessert menu with some delicious items available and a specialty coconut cake I really wanted but hubs wanted to get soft serve elsewhere with our toddler. I left with a Thai tea to go that was stellar. All in all - a 10 out of 10!
