I was walking through the UTC food court and noticed a new restaurant open. Win Wings appears to have a location in Montclair, CA. I gave them a try. The humans don't talk to you and order at a machine on the counter. I order 10 wings with 5 plain and 5 with honey bbq sauce. Wings had crunchy skin while the inside was moist. The plain wings were mild with a slightly salty flavor. Ok. The honey bbq wings had a nice sweet bbq flavor. Good. The wings remind me of Wingstop. They are good as long as you find a sauce you like. I wouldn't order them plain as they are ordinary that way. I feel they went too far with the cost cutting as in addition to getting rid of the cashier they didn't provide any napkins. Eating wings with sauce is messy.

3.5 - 4 star wing meal set for a quick bite at the mall. The mango habanero wings had a decent kick and a tangy sweetness, though the flavor could've been more evenly coated. Fries were surprisingly good--crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and generously portioned. The highlight, aside from the food, was the genuinely kind service from a sweet older Asian lady who made the experience feel a bit more personal. It's still a mall food court spot, so don't expect anything gourmet--but for what it is, it delivers.

Not gonna lie I absolutely love these wings. They were perfectly seasoned amazingly crispy and crunchy hot delicious. The cashier was responsive, quick, and helpful. The ambience is what it is for a mall dining establishment so it was a little bit noisy a little bit crowded, but I went later in the day, so it was a little bit slower so no real complaints on the atmosphere.

No one in line. Guess why?lol!

Poor customer service. The cashier (GLORIA) was so rude and not very helpful. After messing up with my order, she still has the audacity to insist that I should just accept the food that was prepared. I am not paying for a food I don't eat. Clearly, she was inattentive taking orders, so I don't think she is even fit for this job! The manager/owner tried to make everything right and I appreciate how he handled the issue. But still, this does not keep me from posting a review about this new wing place at UTC. And this is to let other customers know what service to expect from the cashier Gloria. A 1-star rating is not even worth giving this place. Thanks to you Gloria coz you just gave this food place a bad image. The food is mid. Nothing extraordinary.

Really enjoyed the house BBQ wings. They are tender, saucy, and the BBQ flavor was on point.

I tried a sample of the chicken tenders and had to get the combo--they were so good! Crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The fries were great too. I also got the wing burger, and it was just as delicious.

man i ain't gonna hold u this shi was so cheeks bruh. like aw hell nah bruh. why tf the closest wingstop gotta be in pb dawg. like that shi gmfu fr. ight so i ordered onion rings, 8 pc wings consisting of hot lemon pepper n garlic parm but bro. these mfs gave me the wrong flavors. i got garlic parm n buffalo or some type of hot wing. that shi was not hot lemon pepper at all. that shi was buffalo dawg. like it was straight up buffalo with negative lemon pepper flavoring. like i'm pretty sure they just got my shi wrong and poured franks red hot on my ish. but man the wings were dumb trash. hella soggy even tho i said extra crispy. like even the ranch ain't save this mf bc the ranch tasted like water. like literally the ranch had no flavor... like the ranch they gave me was peasantry compared to wingstops omnipotent, godly, beautiful ranch. ok i will give them credit for their drums having pretty good size to them. i'd say the chickens were on 100g of test, maybe some anavar bc the wings had solid size to them. but man this is the first time saying this ... i wish the wings were smaller so i could've ate less because of how bad these wings were. the flavor of the garlic parm wasn't even that good either man. shi was like idk just not good. and the buffalo wings they gave me, that was supposed to be hot lemon pepper, was way too salty bro. oh man and the onion rings. pretty good portion they gave me for like 5 bucks. however that shi was just like flavorless man. like at least season the batter please bro. it just tasted like grease man. they were really crispy tho i'll say that dawg. but they honestly just weren't that good. idek why they don't come w a sauce either. like cmon man. oh man and that god damn ranch was a dollar bro like tf? shi was trash. i paid like 17 total for my meal though so the price wasn't too terrible for 8 wings and a big ahh box of onion rings. but yeah i wouldn't come back here. bad service bc they gave me the wrong flavors. foods bad. errthang bad bout this

I prefer boneless so I got the chicken…read moretenders, and the meat quality was great (I hate tendon-y weird bits which is why I avoid dark meat) and it was the most moist chicken tender ever too. And somehow so hot that it nearly burned my mouth (this is a good thing, as so many fried chicken places bring out lukewarm chicken). This place clearly fries to order (it does take a bit longer to get your order because of it, but it's absolutely worth it). And the size - these are the biggest chicken tenders ever! My husband and I could barely finish 8 pieces together, and he eats a lot. The generous serving size makes this place the best deal in town, in addition to being the best quality and best tasting. We got the Gold King which was the perfect sweet-garlic-soy flavor, and the spicy chicken (can't remember what it's called but it's one of the "basic" non sauces options). The spicy wasn't that spicy (and I can't handle very much spice at all) so some people might not think it's spicy enough. Definitely flavor over heat. The batter is so light and crispy, great texture. You can't get the special flavors when you order a 4 count unfortunately, you have to choose between "plain" fried chicken or spicy, but then they give you a free sauce to go with it (but the sauces are different than the special flavors that are available for the larger count options). I wish I could get any flavor in the 4-count orders. Service: Everyone is SO NICE here! Super friendly, and when they found out we wanted to watch the basketball game, the manager logged into his own personal Amazon prime account to stream the game for us (and brought out cheese balls for us too!) However, you are to self-serve your own drinks, napkins, and gloves by the soda machine. The food took a while but the workers were nice. The menu was a little bit confusing too since depending on your chosen flavor, the amount of wings you could order would differ (some flavors were 6 count but not others). The food was okay. The items came out fresh. However, in our opinion, there was way too much bburing (cheese powder) on the fries, that it made the fries soggy despite being hot and fresh. The bburing was a bit overwhelming flavor wise too. I usually like a lot of seasoning powder too, but this was too much. There were a few spoons of cheese powder at the bottom as leftovers from being sprinkled over top the fries. The chicken was crispy and the flavor was good, but it was too much breading for my liking (the breading was thick). Inside, they played K-pop music and music videos on the big screen. Songs would repeat a few times. I think I heard Cookie by New Jeans like 4 times.

Despite the restaurant being covered by one server, he provided excellent service. The food took a bit longer to come out while the drinks arrived swiftly. *Berry Bramble: a well balanced sweet and tart cocktail with a classic bright and citrusy profile. *London Fog: similarly sweet with a strong strawberry lemonade profile. It had the most majestic presentation, with our server placing a fog filled bubble at the table. *Hot Honey Chicken Scone: there was a subtle spice with a heavy honey coating. The scone was rather dense but had a delicious buttery and cheesy flavor. Our server rightfully described the portion size as being on the smaller side, so I would order two if choosing this as an entree. *Fish & Chips: came with a single piece of fried fish, French fries, mushy peas, and a variety of condiments. I wished it were a bigger portion given the nearly $29 price tag. The fried fish had a sweet, light batter. The fries were rather starchy and needed a longer fry for a better crisp. The mushy peas were surprisingly well seasoned and paired nicely with the mild fish. The curry ketchup and chutney were rich and perfect condiments. The pearl onions were rather dense and difficult to eat. *Sticky Toffee and Date Cake: a stellar, indulgent dessert. The salted caramel ice cream offset the sweetness of the cake. The cake had a fudgy texture and the smothering of toffee gave it a sweet smokiness. Despite coming during happy hour, I found the prices to be a bit steep for the portion sizes. However, the flavors were tasty across the board, so I could see returning for a more celebratory occasion.

Some individuals in our group ordered the short rib benny, which came with a hash brown that reminded me of the ones from McDonald's. The plating also felt really bare and underwhelming. A side salad could've been added to make it seem more worth the $22. I ordered the English dip and it had a better presentation and was filling, but overall it wasn't anything memorable, however the cost was more justified at $21. As mentioned earlier, we were here to celebrate some birthdays. We did bring a small cake to share and were ultimately charged a cake fee of $32. That pretty much soured the experience especially since it was never disclosed to us beforehand that we should expect a fee. We just felt this surprise charge could've been communicated upfront and then it probably wouldn't have ruined our overall experience. For most of us, we probably won't be coming back again.

I added ham, and the total came out to $16.15, which honestly feels high for what is basically a fast, casual breakfast spot. The eggs could've used more seasoning, there was no salt or pepper available at the counter, and the toast wasn't very crispy.
