Had a great experience at Jersey Mike's. This location is nestled by the Holiday Inn in Sorrento Valley. There's plenty of parking. I ordered a Bacon Ranch Chicken Cheese Steak via a mobile order on the app. As soon as I walked in I was greeted warmly by a worker and I saw my mobile order ready on the shelf. I was pleased to see the packaging was neat and my sandwich bag was sealed securely with tamper proof tape. The shop was very clean and well maintained. My husband is a big Italian sub fan & we will go all over the place for it. While Jersey's isn't anything super fancy it makes a good sub. He gets the Italian and I get turkey and we are both pretty satisfied with our meals. read more

I am a lunch regular here, almost always online ordering, and I've always had a great experience. Even when it's busy my order is ready within 10 minutes, and always made right. An employee will always direct me to my bag right away. I get subs with no cheese, and unlike one reviewer said happened to them I've never gotten cheese on my sub. This might be my favorite Jersey Mike's. Super clean, friendly, fast.. it feels like the folks behind the counter WANT to make you a great sandwich. It's not a huge shop, but there's outdoor seats and a Starbucks next door for more drink selection. If there's a better more filling lunch value than a Regular #6, I haven't found it. I can't say enough good things about the crew at this location. They are really killin' it -- a well-oiled machine that will get you through the line and back to your work day quickly, even during the lunch rush. I've seen it be faster to stand in line than to even use the app and order ahead (altho they keep up with orders, no problem!), they are that fast. Everyone has a great attitude, smiles, and wishes you a good day. I've never had a wrong order, either, even when I order ahead. We use them for catering at the office as well. Jersey mikes. I remember hearing about this place long ago. Now after hitting up at least ten locations. I order from this local shop. It is of course still a chain. But! It's the best chain for the price and size of the subs. Plus the taste is great. They have a lot of options and add ons. It's not overly done and all artisan. Which sometimes I just want. A good simple sandwich. The Philly chicken is anything but simple though which I love. The classic club is usually my go to. I never go mikes way because I don't care for oil on my sub but I am a ok with it. I have done both pick up. Delivery. And drop by. Always great service and fresh. read more

Stopped by the local Jersey Mikes while in town picked up the Italian Sub which is one of my favorites. This location was really clean and the gentleman working was really nice and you could tell he genuinely cares about his service just a pleasure to deal with and very courteous and friendly. I order a reg #13 from here everyday for my 7pm lunch break, foods great but 3 times now they were out of white bread. today, they were out of white and wheat bread and gave me rosemary parm, hard crunchy, not a fan. seems to me you should not run out of the main ingredient, and most selected type of bread, yet they seem to let it happen once a week. the bread costs what, a dollar for a 12 inch loaf of frozen bread maybe less. but they'd rather not and piss me off read more

I ordered for pick-up a Giant original Italian sub which feeds 4 people. To my dismay, when I got home and opened the sealed bag it was a regular size hoagie that didn't even have pepperoni or salami or the Mayo I had added on. So what did my $19 pay for? A sandwich half the size of what I wanted and didn't feed my family of 4 either. I called to try and rectify the situation and no answer. I was here over two weeks ago and noticed nobody has left a review, so here goes... We were staying at the hotel next door for a few nights. Noticed that this JM opened recently. I haven't eaten at one recently because there's a Subway much closer to both my home and work, but I'm a fan now. This location and the employees are rock solid in my book. First time I went in was on the weekend and I was like fourth in line. I don't think they expected many people at the time because only two employees were working which meant it was slow going. But one of them was nice enough to acknowledge us in line, apologize for the wait, and explain it was just the two of them. That was smart, and customer service touches like that do make a difference. Second time was a weekday during lunch and it was busier but the line moved faster. Like the first time, the sandwiches were real good. Btw, what the guy is asking you as he preps your toppings is whether or not you want the sandwich "Mike's way". Real water cup! I know most restaurants don't trust their customers and only give us those little plastic cups for water. So when we're really thirsty, we just stand in front of the drink dispenser filling up water cup 4 or 5 times and wasting everyone's times Yesterday, I picked up lunch for the family, I was hot and thirsty, asked for a water cup, the cashier didn't even bat an eye and he gave me a regular large cup! The tiniest sandwiches you'll ever see at a Jersey Mike's. I feel like if I laid this sandwich flat, I could count around three slices of meat. They make these sandwiches like they're trying to make their supplies last longer, rationing them out. I thought it was a fluke the first couple times, but no, it's intentional. Service is friendly, ingredients are fresh, it's nice and clean, everything else is what you'd expect. I just feel like my dollar goes farther at some other locations. read more

We saw this particular Jersey Mikes as we pulled into the parking lot of the Hotel we were staying at and immediately wanted to get something. I've always heard about Jersey Mikes but haven't had the chance to eat there. So we made it a point to try it. So we checked into our room rested up a little and walked over. After reading some of the reviews I was hoping my experience would be great. But as with everything on Yelp it's usually all about "THAT PERSONS" experience. It doesn't mean your experience will be bad. So we went in and we're greeted by a pleasant young man that was preparing items for people to choose from. Having not been here before I was happy to see so many great choices. I just opted for the traditional Italian sandwich and my wife got a roast beef. The choices of veggies were fresh and plentiful. The service was great and the place was clean. We got back to our room and we really enjoyed these two amazing sandwiches. Everything tasted great and made with quality ingredients. I would definitely come here again. So kudos to Jersey Mikes for a great product! read more

I think it's a good sandwich, but it is nothing special. I actually appreciate that they cut the meat and geese cheese fresh to order. But they have very few toppings to add, and very few different sauces to add. But the break is really fantastic. I want to give them five stars because the team are so helpful and friendly, but after all, it's just a sandwich. read more

Came here today around noon! It was packed (about 20 people in line), but that is to be expected! The staff moved very quickly and was pleasant! The guy cutting meat and cheese was so efficient and was working really hard! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of veggies and juice. My husband and I went to this location twice and so far it's one of our favorite ones. They don't make the bread soggy from a ton of oil and vinegar but they still do a good amount. If it's your first time coming to a Jersey Mike's they want to take your order while they're cutting the meat for the previous customer and while you're there finishing your sandwich to ring you up and you can't see what they're putting on or not putting on your sandwich and then if you ask a question they act like really irritated and talk muffled and you can't hear them so not the best introduction to Jersey Mike's. This was my first time trying jersey mikes, and it's definitely an upgrade compared to subway. We got a Philly cheesesteak hot sub and a turkey provolone cold sub. Both were great. Ordered a giant sandwich and received a regular size. First time I called, I was told it was too busy call back. I call back and they said they refunded my order, which is not true. Called several more times and even re-visited store all to no avail. Customer service is horrible. They told me several times they would check into my refund and call me back. Repeated my number back to me but no follow through. If you ever have a mistake (we're all human) don't expect them to fix it. They easily could have made me the sandwich I paid for and all would be well, but again customer service is horrendous and I'd suggest another place read more
