They had cool fans running everywhere. It was not too bad. Service was great. Such friendly people. Wings are really good. I was worried that we won't finish it but it was a clean plate at the end. Juicy and good seasoning. My burger came with toasts(?). caramelized onions complemented well with the patty. Patty itself was not bad. Flavorful. It's a popular spot among locals.

Garlic parmesan and spicy carribean jerk didn't have much taste like their names We came here to grab dinner on Friday evening. It was somewhat busy but we got a table right away. The interior was pretty nice, had a giant bar at the back side and also a separate space with one billiard board and couple of shuffle boards. There were TVs all around playing the World Cup game. The AC was broken, so they had some air blowers pumping air. They were really a burger place with the menu having 50 different types of burgers. They had chili, salad and wings too. I ordered the 10 jumbo wings, which were roasted style with moist soft meat inside. I got the garlic parmesan and spicy Caribbean jerk sauces on the side, but none of tasted like their names. I really liked the Rueben burger. But the side of coleslaw was somewhat busy disappointing, was straight up lifeless cabbage thrown in a bowl, had no cream whatsoever. When I asked the waitress about it, she said that's how it was and nothing she could do about it. The truffle fries were much better quality side. The staff members all around were friendly. They all were suffering from the AC blowout too. The dishes came out in short intervals despite the place being busy. Overall it seemed to be a solid place to hangout and have burger and fries.

There are no tables but instead they have been replaced with grocery shelves as it is being turned into a small neighborhood market. They have a bar in the back with a few seats however don't expect to have your family along because no place to sit. Out of T-Bone steaks which they advertise as the daily special always. Out of vegetables and sides with the exception of potato salad. Woman behind the counter said owner was too busy with doing other things like driving a school bus to attend to keeping the grill properly stocked. Place has as much abeyance as a back alley New York dumpster site. Just looks plain dirty inside and out. Located in one of the worst areas in town. When I mentioned what they advertise on their website the matron behind the bar apologized saying that web site is years outdated. Absolutely nothing on the website is accurate! Left disappointed and hungry.

They also have burgers and other goodies. Service was great. Will go back next time I'm anywhere near Winchester.

Look, this place is what it is. If the name "Downtown Saloon" and the dozen or so motorcycles and…read moreguys hanging out in their leathers outside don't clue you in as to what type of establishment this is... that's on you, my friend. If you're looking for craft cocktails and a list of beers a mile long to show off on your instagram, I have great news for you - there are a ton of places on and off King Street that can accommodate you. This is not one of them. This is bud light, salty-ass french fries (that are actually SO good), loud music, maybe a fight between two chicks over that scraggly looking guy with the patch on his vest (no, not that one, the one next to him with the tat on his neck), cigarette smoke in the air, bras hanging from the ceiling, is that your mom in the corner hammered and scream-singing Skynyrd?, the bartender is not trying to be your friend so quit acting put out because they're not chatting you up the quality of various strains of hops, and THE BEST KARAOKE YOU HAVE EVER SEEN. And seriously... it is 100% the best karaoke ever. Rowdy, glorious, and worth the trip out on a Friday night. I read some of the other reviews on here, and the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I do agree with some of the other comments about some of the experiences people have had with other patrons. I've had to tell an old man off more than a few times for having a loose tongue, and while I've never personally seen anyone of color or members of our LGBTQ community being treated differently (in fact, there are several regulars who may fit one or many of those identities), I wont discount their experiences. Sometimes the crowd can definitely be rough around the edges. Sometimes that roughness is part of the charm of this place, but not if we're talking about people behaving in a racist or homophobic manner - if that happened to you, I'm sorry. That sucks. Again, I've never seen it and only had great experiences in a very welcoming and judge-free environment, but I'm also a white girl living in the suburbs, so what the hell do I know? At the end of the day, if dive bars and epic karaoke are your thing, this place may have helped to write the book on them. I'm a fan.

My husband and I loved it, we had some drinks, played pool, and shared some appetizers. Jalapeño poppers with ranch & wings with the "saloons way" sauce was amazing! Like a Mesquite BBQ flavor. We will definitely be back again.
