Oh my this is the best smog shop I could ever go to. It's also the place for foodies because the gas station neighbors three very sweet eateries. When I arrived here, there were a lot more cars than I expected. Why? Seems to me like they have great service better than other smog check joints. The person who helped me was very nice and worked well to make sure I get the utmost attention. He seemed like a very cheerful person to me. Chairs are provided but you won't have to wait long which is a super plus especially if you got other stuff to do. I called ahead and they were able to accommodate me right away! Super friendly customer service. I drove up they motioned for me to bring my car towards the garage. Hopped out, gave him the papers from the DMV and they got started right away. There was a little chair to wait, but I didn't have to wait long - they were done within 10 min tops. Despite taking my 30 yr old vehicle to this place for years, they said they cant test it all of the sudden. Supposedly they can only refuse if vehicle is unsafe. They looked from 40' away while it was filling up and said 'cant do it'. They were not even busy. Of course there is no record of business at BBB. read more

These people are extortion artists, they demanded an extra amount of money beyond their advertised price for smog. They then threatened to mark my car as a tampered with vehicle and stain the record so I cannot get it smogged anywhere else but with them for the rest of my life. Saying unless I paid extra for their smog. The vehicle passed smog according to the DMV, this place is super shady and made me feel unsafe. I talked to locals and apparently this place is notorious for extortion and only passes you if you pay extra. Will be reporting this place to the bureau of automotive repair. read more

A little mom and pop shop that takes care of business every other year for my 4Runner's smog certificate. So far, 3 times . The gentleman who owns the shop gets me in and out in a jiffy. I reckon I could get a $10-20 better deal at one of the chain smog shops but I like to support smaller businesses if I can and especially when I am getting a premium experience. read more

I always come here when my car needs the smog I gotta say it's efficient and legit work but the price last time was 50$ and now is 80$ for just the smog I gotta say that the price isn't wasn't what I expected I'm sure there's others places out there where you can save at least 25$ bucks and it's not that I'm cheap but hey who doesn't like a great deal on things .I will have to double think next time I try coming crazy read more

This guy did the kind of thing which is above and beyond (all Legal of coarse). I sold the car to a friend, turned out today was last day he could register and use previous smog, but at AAA they needed a copy of the original smog certificate. While waiting on customers (he is very popular) and doing smogs he got my copy. Because of particulates in date (was actually 91 plus weekend which gave me a break) he had to dig out the original from boxes of certificates (very well organized, impressive). This is at the Valero station at Moorpark Ave and Winchester. They charge more than 2X the going rate for a smog check. Many places charge $30 + $10; they charge $70 + $10. They quoted me the rate up front, but the price didn't sync in until it was too late. That's what I get for being distracted. I asked for the coupon rate, so they gave me $10 off. Still way too expensive. They were fast and courteous so I will give 2* but I will go somewhere else next time. read more

Very accommodating and nice guy. But was I overcharged for a test only smog check on my 1997 MBenz? $89.75? This was the most expensive smog check I ever had EVER. My fault. I should have read the reviews first. The one in Saratoga can only smog test 2000 models up so he directed me to this place. Be warned. read more

Helpful, friendly, Charged me $49 total for a last minute smog check on a busy Saturday. He waived the 8.25 fee when another shop couldn't do it. No wait, waiting area is not fancy. I would definitely bring my car back for the service and price. read more
