They agreed for me to leave keys in truck and I wouldn't have to be here so I could go to work that was 1145a at 545 or so my wife called and they still hadn't got truck and told her 7am next morning and they were even late to that so almost 24 hrs later they are getting truck. Truly ZERO star review. Don't waste your time on them. Our service kept on getting pushed back for a tow by "wind and sea towing." We contacted AAA and this is the tow company that they tried to send us. We were going to make it to our mechanics if they arrived on time, but unfortunately after many delays from them, we decided cancel and to go with another tow company. The new tow company blacks towing from murrieta got to us within 30 minutes. We even got a courtesy call from blacks towing company to say they were in route within 15 mins. My daughter, 3 grandchildren (4 years and under) and I,broke down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Rickey was there within 20 mins and stayed with us until we were rescued from family (approximately 2 hours!!). He kindly offered us something to drink and even allowed us to charge our phone in his tow truck!! He was a lifesaver!! He also chased off all the creepy peeps that offered to help us!! Called AAA 4 times throughout the day updating the situation and each time they called the company and "spoke to the driver" who kept ensuring they were en route and would be another 30 min, then another 45 min, etc. Unreliable, joke of a company. No contact from the company to update or apologize. I had to contact AAA each time to inquire what happened. The shop is closing and my tow has to be postponed another day to try again. When they came to town my car after an accident I asked they take it to my home, the driver stated he could not that it need to go to the tow yard so my insurance can pick from there. This "company" only accepts easy and lucrative jobs. If you are a AAA member and need a tow, you are in for an unpleasant experience. They will make you wait and wait, rescheduling again and again until they have completed all their cash calls and then once they have literally nothing else to do, they will mosey in and decide if the job is worth their while. One star because in my case they either decided that my tow was not worth it to them or they don't like Mexican women. Who knows? In a 12 month period, I unfortunately had to have my car towed twice and with Wind n Sea Towing. The first experience with them was great but I failed to leave a review. Today's experience was terrible and it was not with Wind n Sea Towing but with AAA. For a huge company like AAA I would have thought they'd provide exceptional service especially if they were at fault, actually even if they were not at fault they should have found a way to satisfy a customer who was waiting on a tow for 5hrs. Anyway, that's another story. But I'm here to commend Rodey(sorry if i misspelled your name!) He was patient about my frustration for the long wait and runaround that AAA was giving me and explained what seemed to be the issue that put me on the long wait for a tow. Horrible experience...after we'd been given 3 DIFFERENT tow truck arrival times by triple AAA and ALSO this company both tried giving us yet another arrival time of addl 60 min. Later!! Which would've taken it to almost 4.5 to 5 hour total wait time since we first requested the tow service. Wow!!! AAA ended up rescheduling with another company and agreed per our request to elescalate in order to get help out to us asap. AAA agreed to reschedule with another company only because we demanded them to do so as we couldnt trust either ones word. We were there waiting for over 4hours and no one showered nor ever called us and therefore that's why we demanded service from a different company. We never even received any kind of follow up call of any sort during those hours until we personally called AAA a fourth time. We also called this towing company at 350 mapes rd #b Perris ca. To let them know that they never called us not once during the long uncalled for wait that they had us endure we are a 66yr old couple who was lied to and made to wait hours for their tow service. AAA they nvr called us and AAA kept saying it was 30 to 60 min more. We didn't even get a call from the tow company to confirm a thing. I called them to advise them of their poor service and it went to deaf ears as the male rep whom answered just kept saying it would be another 60 min etc... and didn't properly acknowledge our complaint. My son got into a hit n run crash on the 10 freeway between Singleton Rd & Cherry Valley Blvd; heading to work on 7/14/2023. The tow truck guy came and I believe his name is Daniel. I needed to get my car to a repair shop. It was making a funny noise and I didn't feel comfortable driving it on the freeway. AAA sent Chris. He was awesome, as soon as I parked the car for him to tow it, backed out of my driveway and garage, he noticed that there was an allen wrench stuck in my tire. When it rotated it was the source of the noise! He was fast, efficient and very nice. He even suggested I take a photo of the tire. I am happy to let you know how great Chris was. Was driving home to LA on a Sunday evening from Palm Springs and my TPMS light turned on, so we pulled over at a gas station off the 10 to take a look and pump some air. We did so and couldn't see a noticeable difference so we called AAA just in case, and they sent Wind n Sea over to us. Within 3 minutes of my call with AAA, the manager at WnS (I forgot his name!) called to ask what I specifically needed. Since it was a Sunday, he also asked how far we were from home and if we'd be able to stay anywhere since all the local tire places were closed, which was so sweet! He sent someone within 15 minutes, and that person (I really wish I got his name too!) came with a tow truck just in case. I don't know enough about cars so he asked me questions in layperson's terms and was so patient when I couldn't find the key to my wheel lock. He thoroughly examined my tire to see if anything pierced it, filled it with air, and checked multiple times to make sure it would be ok. He also checked the pressure of my other tires and stayed behind to make sure I drove away safely, which I deeply appreciated. Horrible service! When my car broke down I called AAA for service. Was told someone would come help me within 20 minutes. When 30 minutes passed I called back They called wind and sea and said they would be there in 40 minutes to an hour. it was a very hot day and My dog and I were stranded at a park with no bathroom. I explained this to them and they said they would get there sooner if they could. We waited in the shade but they still didn't come. I called wind and Sea directly. They said it would be another 40 minutes to an hour wait. I finally got a ride home and left my car there. It was about 5 hours after my original call that they finally showed up. If they had just told me that in the first place I could have gotten a ride and could find a way back when they could get there. Don't just leave people stranded for hours telling them you'll be there in 20 minutes! We are fine now but we both got sick from waiting in the sun for way too long . Probably heat stroke. This place is horrible they convinced a family friend of mine to tow his vehicle to their yard which was 45 minutes away from his home. They pulled him out of a ditch 5 mins away from his house, there's no reason they needed to bring it all the way over here. Then when I took him to get his car they charged him $1300 for storage fees and a tow and would only take cash. Hamid quickly arrived, was friendly and even swapped out my tire that had low air pressure with my spare tire. He did this extra work in order to assure that I'd be able to drive to my tire repair store because it was late afternoon. Hamid had the foresight and presence of mind to know that most tire stores close at 5 PM, and he was right. Thankfully I'll be able to drive on my spare tire tomorrow. I do not recommend this company at all. I called to report a reckless driver who had blinding lights on as he barreled down the highway and erratically switched lanes. When the lady answered the phone and I told her the driver was going to kill someone if he wasn't careful she replied, "What do you want me to do about it? We're a towing company!" and slammed the phone in my face. I asked for an email address to send video to the first call and she refused and hung up in my face then too. Please save yourself the headache and ask AAA which company they are sending if they say Wind N Sea Towing tell them to change it immediately and to contact another company. An absolute joke of a company. I waited 6 hours for a 10 mile tow. Everytime I called AAA they would say that Wind N Crap would be "45 minutes away" and kept saying that for the next 6 hours. They also said they would contact me WHICH THEY NEVER DID ONCE IN THE 6 HOURS I WAITED. It wasn't even in a rural area either. They lie to AAA dispatchers, and the dispatchers do nothing to alleviate the situation. If you call Wind Sea N Towing they either won't answer or continue to lie, or give you attitude. I was kind the first 2 hours of waiting but by the second time I called during the second hour the person on the phone had an attitude because it was the same receiver I had the first time around and it bothered my asking what the wait time was. They changed the person en route 6 times SIX . I hope the absolute WORST FOR THIS CRAP OF A BUSINESS. I already filed a formal complaint with AAA because they are just as much as fault and have made them to BAN them from contacting these people if something ever happens to my car.
