I got an estimate to replace all the windows in my house, first from Renewal by Anderson and another one from a local glass company in Hemet. Anderson's prices were ridiculous and the glass company could not provide the service and product I wanted. Half-assed work at its finest... Window World (Ko) was hired by our landlord to replace a $3000 fired rated door between the garage and our kitchen. They horrifically botched the job and then refused to leave unless the work was signed for... Now they will not return calls or texts to come look at their "installers" work. They split the door using the wrong screw, busted the trim work and didnt clean up after themselves... Myself and my husband were extremely excited to get our windows replaced using window world. Online and in person, their work is amazing. The men who came to service the home were fast and easy to communicate with, unfortunately the reason for my low rating has everything to do with their customer service representatives. They canceled our appointment without consent because of their poor communication and when speaking with them to rectify the situation, they took absolutely no accountability, proceeded to blame us for the cancellation and spoke with us about payroll, which I find extremely inappropriate. Sadly Megan the manager in particular was extremely confrontational. She wanted to do nothing to rectify the situation. All she offered was an apology, followed up by blaming us, which obviously made the apology meaningless. As a company, they took no accountability for their mistake and did nothing to make things right. We have worked in customer service for years and do a lot business for home improvements and this has to be by far the worst experience we have ever had with customer service. I did reach out to corporate to let them know about the situation they informed me that they'd relay this to the owners, and someone will reach out to me , and I never received a call back . Overall, this company does do great work, but they leave the impression to me that the customer is not a priority only the money they receive matters. read more

They do not replace existing window but retrofit where they install the new window on your existing frame. Quality of the windows are under par, dust and air penetrating through weep holes which are pretty big on both sides. l wish I knew it was a retrofit and I could have installed a new one. read more

A bit of a bait and switch. I saw in the valuepaks an ad for 6 windows for $3,137 so I called and specifically asked if there were size requirements and any other upcharges. They mentioned as long as the windows were under 5ft each way, it would fit within pricing. They were clear that the only thing on top of the $3,137 would be taxes which I understand. When the sales rep came, he refused to honor the price even though my windows were well within the limits. I haven't decided yet where I will get my windows done, but I'm not a fan of companies that deceive to get their foot in the door. read more

THE WORST! First of all, they required 50% deposit which is illegal in California! All that is required by law is 10%!!! And they are giving my mom the biggest run around trying to get her deposit back! The salesman was SO PUSHY! Said he was the owner!? Wow he was awful! My mom had 3 days to cancel and she cancelled on the 2nd day in writing and it's been well over the "10 business day cancel policy" and they STILL HAVEN'T RETURNED HER MONEY! Both sets of sliding glass doors started leaking a river of water into our house from the top during every rain. We were told they would repair them but referred elsewhere to have the work completed. I provided proof my phone bill to show you dates and times I have called your company and tex messages that were sent between your staff and I. As for not liking your staff that isn't true I called your office because one of your staff older man was in a hurry and raised his voice at me and I didn't like that and being alone while it happened frightened me and I brought that up to your attention and even wrote it down on my paperwork that he didn't allow me to inspect the window before he left. As for the day of my appointment I never received a confirmation that this appointment was going to happen so I called left messages on your company voicemail but no one got back to me so I thought once again my window was going to be delayed on top of that I was at the hospital when your representative showed up and your company didn't call me that day you called my husbands line which he can't answer while at work nor have you ever called my husband line before so say what you will you know you and your company did me wrong by me one bad window after another for over 6 months until you decided to call this other representative. When I first met him he even stated he didn't bring the window to my home because it was scratched and I would (had to wait 2 more months for another) show that video with him stating that again as proof but at this point I'm done proving myself I know I'm telling you the truth. What I can do is warn everyone else who may consider your company not to go to you as you provide unprofessionalism, rudeness and scratch windows. Window World Riverside just completed my whole house replacement. This is my third job with WW ( two with Riverside one with San Diego). If I ever need do another project like this I will call them first. The owner did my measuring, the office staff was very competent and polite ( something rare these days) and the install crew was perfect. Wanted to edit and include photo for others to choose wisely when conducting business with this company. They can't even comprehend conversation when it's in writing. This company deserves 5 NEGATIVE STARS. In short, they advertise Certified Energy Star Products however, they are only energy efficient. Omar who came to measure called someone for instructions on measuring so, that worried me. I went to the office and Omar printed energy-efficient ratings for windows to be manufactured in 3-4 weeks. It was then I noticed the windows we spoke of with 5" borders were not ordered and Omar argued, that was what I ordered. I went home and decided to cancel the order since it was still another 3-4 weeks before mfg. Laura said she could not cancel the order and Charlotte Das will be back on Monday. Later that afternoon Charlotte called me and said "No matter what" she was going to keep my money whether I took the sliders or not. This company with Charlotte Das supervising does not believe in Customer Satisfaction and I can say her employees have more manners in their little fingers than Charlotte does in her whole body. Ko came to my home and thoroughly explained the process, answered all my questions, etc. Windows took about 3 months to arrive (not surprising for the times we are in), and were installed yesterday and today. Ralph and Misael were my installers - what a team! Those guys worked a 12 hour day yesterday (they had to load up in Riverside before driving to Palm Springs to start the job) and never broke stride! Yesterday it was 121 in Palm Springs - didn't phase these two! They were real pros, very pleasant and courteous, and worked efficiently. Never once saw them take a break, other than about 15 minutes to eat. They came back this morning to finish up one last window and were done in a little more than an hour. It took a few weeks longer to have the windows installed due to supply problems. The day of installation was very easy. The two men that showed up were here about 6-7 hours and replaced all the windows. They cleaned up, took the trash with them and washed the windows. Could never tell anyone was here. Except for the new windows that keep the heat out, are less noisy and are very well sealed against the dust. Would use them again in a minute. read more

From the first time Ko came over to give an estimate, to how great my place looked when Michael and his crew finished. Ko was knowledgeable and very thorough in explaining his products and why they were a good deal. Window World just finished my windows. Today I was able to completed the second half of my homes 13 windows & 1 slider. First 11 windows done in 2018. Can't tell you enough about how wonderful everyone that we dealt with. Let's start with Ko he came to our home to tell us about these amazing windows. Ko asked me what I needed in a window. I needed windows that would keep the heat out ,but also let the sun in. He answered all my questions along with a sample window that would fit my needs. All the information on the glass so I could do my homework. Now Taylor from the office. What a sweet person. She keep us up to date on the delivery & installation. With reminders to make sure we are ready. Believe me I need the reminders Lolo. She answered any extra questions I had or made sure to get back promptly with the answer. I called so many places because we needed 14 windows and 2 sliding doors to be replaced and install. In my house, the previous company give us a price they were outrageous. of the house upgraded all the windows, didn't want to keep the ugly window. I hired Window World of Riverside to retrofit my condo windows in Palm Desert. With the extreme weather of Coachella valley desert I knew it was important to get a reliable company with a warranty for their products. The owner Ko came to quote my job. I had 2 other quotes and felt WW had the best price and product available with a warranty. Ko said any issues with the windows can be addressed with his company and they would deal with the window manufacturer. Much more personal than just installing window and leaving the owner to fend for themselves should problems arise. My HOA requested information as well as the City needed permits, and for a small fee, WW took care of the permitting process for me. It was pretty streamlined and a simple process. Megan and Skylar in the office were extremely helpful and made the entire process a breeze. I have only had the windows a month, but they look great and the install went smooth. 5 stars all the way thus far. Horrible experience, my husband and I requested a quote. Rep Omar came to our home and gave us a quote sometime in May 2021, we contacted Omar May 27th 2021 and told him we wanted to move forward. Omar made us aware the windows needed to be made and will take 12 wks to have them made and replaced. I texted Omar Aug 13, 2021 requesting status, Omar never replied nor called. I called Window World Riverside directly and talked to the store manager, she was rude and very unprofessional. According to her one of the windows could not be made, keep in mind they manufacture their own windows. She said, Omar contacted you to make you aware we weren't able to make one of the windows, and the order was never placed. Omar never called me to make us aware of the situation, here we are waiting for our windows to be replaced.
