Pre track install I installed and shimmed level hard wood boards so that when the installer came back out to install the new metal tracks there would be no issue with leveling or a need for them to shim as they use shims between the metal track and mdf board which does not leave the best looking end result. I appreciate CIP's attempt to make it right however my overall experience is still a 3 star (Ok) and not a five star (Great) experience.

After signing the contract the windows were ordered and arrived in about 3 weeks. The installation team worked quickly and Art was there to see it complete. Retrofitted the windows to fit in my existing frames to avoid having to work on the wall. Added the grids to match the style of the old windows since I have a condo and HOA would probably have an issue if not everyone's windows matched since it's a shared building.

Absoultely horrible experience with Cabana Concepts, so beware! The contractor they recommended…read morefor the rough opening was totally incompentent. Then Cabana installed 2 windows and a multi-slide door in our home. Neither window was operational after the install, despite them insisting that they tested operation during the install. Worse yet, one window was installed off center and the order was messed up so that the height of the window did not match the door height. Then when our hardwood installer came to finish the wood flooring against the door track he found significan water intrusion into the sill pan. LaCantina techs visited and wrote a report with their findings which explained that the door track and sill pan were not installed properly. However, Cabana insisted that this water intrusion was normal and that the door had been installed properly. It was not a small amount of water either. After a 5 minute water test on the door, I was able to vacuum 1 quart of water from the sill pan! The images don't lie, wish I could say the same for the Cabana.
