Great place to stay if you are on vacation in this area. The club house has a renowned pool area which includes two water slides, a lazy river, hammocks, basketball, volleyball, a gym, arcade room, a restaurant and a bar. You have to register and check in with the front gate to enter this community which could take a few minutes depending on when you arrive. But once you are checked in, they give you a ticket to place on your dash that has a QR code that allows you to bypass the guards whenever you come back on your future arrivals. Very convenient. They do have parking restrictions but as long as you can read, you won't have any problems.

I hope you like staring into peoples back yards.

Where to start. Just to get into the resort took 30 minutes of waiting in my car while the attendants checked in every car. It backed up traffic for an hour on Apple Maps. Once you get into the neighborhood good luck getting to your air bnb. There are so many people running through the streets, weaving in and out while driving golf carts and people parked on the sides of the road. I went during the 4th of July weekend so people were also setting off fireworks all day into the night (there is a burn ban in the country). So buckle up for police and enforcers lighting up the streets as well trying to arrest people. Furthermore, while the houses look nice on pictures, they do a good job hiding the unfinished touches. Most of the dining and utensils seems to be bought from the dollar store. We were charged extra if we used more than 3 garbage bags or the 1 roll of toilet paper. They also only provided 3 single use coffee packets (no cream or sugar). In conclusion, this place is so saturated with delinquents, traffic and grime. You will be pissed the moment you arrive here to the moment you pay $20 for burger and fries.

From the moment we arrived, the entire property was clean, quiet, and visually gorgeous. The pool setup alone makes this place worth visiting. They have a fantastic variety of options depending on what mood you are in: a serene adult pool when you want to relax, a wave pool, a lazy river, and plenty of fun spots for smaller children. Another huge plus is convenience. With multiple restaurants, bars, and shops located right on site, it was effortless to find great food and drinks we loved without ever needing to leave the resort. On top of that, every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. We had an amazing time and cannot wait to return. Highly recommended!

The resort was easy to navigate, and there were no shortages of dining options. The room was gorgeous and had some thoughtful touches that I appreciated, including pillow spray, a clothes steamer, and even a weighted blanket. It's the little things that make a work trip feel a bit more like a vacation. My biggest complaint? The gym was about the size of my thumbnail. Thankfully, it still managed to squeeze in everything I needed for a solid workout, so I can't complain too much. The conference food was good, though nothing particularly memorable. The late-night food offerings, however, were a welcome surprise and definitely earned bonus points. This is a fantastic property for hosting large corporate meetings and events. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. They did have to move some activities indoors due to weather, but everything seemed to be handled smoothly. Overall, a great resort that balances business and leisure well.

We used to come to Reunion to sit at the bar, and in the lobby or the outside balcony and work. But this was our first time actually staying here. We had a spacious two bedroom, two bath condo on the sixth floor. Our sons joined us for part of the trip before catching a flight back home so having that second bedroom was perfect. The primary bath had a soaking tub that became my refuge after long days. Housekeeping came almost daily to refresh towels, take out trash, and make the beds. We requested two deep cleanings during our stay which was sufficient and worth it for the time we were there. The grounds are immaculate. If you love walking like I do you can stroll through the different neighborhoods on the property for a lovely escape. The resort is tucked away from all the Orlando chaos but still has easy access to the major highways. Dining, Eleven on the top floor is my favorite. It's a beautiful rooftop pool with a gorgeous view. It opens on Tuesdays from 5pm-10pm through Sundays. Downstairs, the Lobby Sushi Bar comes alive once it opens at 5pm as well. The Clubhouse offers breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner which is a convenient walk just next door. And if you want an upscale dinner experience 7593 Chophouse got you covered. They open 5pm-10pm and is located in the first floor of the hotel. There's also a Starbucks located on the first floor next to the elevators. If you golf, this is the place. The courses are stunning. Reunion Resort is beautiful, well-staffed, and so relaxing. We'll definitely be back.

We did however have to go back a couple of times. Once for our wristbands to the waterpark that she forgot to give us. I definitely wanted to check out the waterpark as it was closed last year when we came. It was a nice time just laying around and floating in the lazy river. It is a chore finding a tube though. Also there are waterfalls throughout the river so you may get completely soaked. If so the Florida sun will dry you out. The Caesar salad at the waterpark was surprisingly tasty and all the staff were pleasant. This time we utilized the free shuttle to get around the property. The drivers were absolutely fantastic. Even though the trip started off a bit shaky at check in we still had a fabulous time as always.

There were visible cleanliness issues, and parts of the property, including the roof, appeared to be under repair with a tarp in place. The pool area was also not kept to a standard I would expect. Additionally, the atmosphere around the hot tub was uncomfortable at times due to inappropriate behavior by other guests, which made it less family-friendly than advertised. I also found the staff interactions to be less helpful than expected, which made it difficult to address concerns during the stay. Overall, this experience did not meet expectations, and I would not choose to stay here again.

We rented a condo through Vrbo and it was listed as a luxury, remodeled condo which was an outright lie. We paid a required 'resort fee' which had to be paid prior to entry of the RESORT and ANY rental unit. We could not enter the rental property until the resort fees had been paid. After 8 days in a mismanaged and unkempt unit, we made a decision to leave that unit. We asked at the front desk for a different property to move to and learned at that point that the resort does not own the properties that are rented there. After explaining our difficulties to the front desk manager, she tried to help, but ultimately, Operations Manager Jon Bross refused to refund the resort fees at the rate paid. The original length of stay allowed for a 'snowbird' rate, but since we'd cut our stay short due to an uninhabitable property, Mr. Bross insisted on charging us the full rate and only refunded on that basis. We had paid $369.60 for a 28-day stay and he refunded $131.04 after a 10-day stay. We never got to use the facilities due to waiting for maintenance to fix our issues. Jon Bross indicated that this was not his problem. We endured no heat during freezing temperatures, standing in dirty water while showering because the drains were clogged (in all the bathrooms), a loose, dripping kitchen faucet and a security bar that fell off the wall of a door wall that had a broken lock, leaving the property unsecure for two full days which made us decide to leave that rental. Jon Bross, given all these facts, dismissed them as unimportant. He informed us he was 'generously' giving a partial refund as he was not required to refund ANY money at all. BUYER BEWARE

This…read moreincredible resort does everything imaginable to give wish kids facing life threatening medical issues and their families the best week of their lives, all at no cost to the families. We were guests here with two of my daughter in 2012 and 2015, and we've been back as volunteers over the past four years. I have only wonderful things to say about this wonderful resort. Founded by Holocaust survivor Henri Landwirth, GKTW is celebrating their 40th birthday. They've hosted over 200,000 wish families, and each wish child has their own gold star on the ceiling of the Castle of Miracles. Each family gets to stay in a two bedroom villa for the week, and all of their meals are provided in Cafe Clayton - the on property restaurant. There is also an ice cream parlor that opens each day at 7:30AM and families are highly encouraged to eat ice cream for breakfast at least once during their stay. In addition, Noah's Nook provides poolside snacks such as nachos, popcorn, chips, and iceys; and you can also get pizza deliveries right to your villa from Miss Merry's Pizzeria. There is so much to do at GKTW! The pool is amazing and is handicap accessible. Actually, absolutely everything at GKTW is fully accessible! There is also a life-sized Candyland Game playground, a beautiful carousel, and two other amusement park rides on site. In Amberville, there are arcade games and the biggest model railroad system I've ever seen. Families can also go fishing, participate in the evening parties, and do STEM activities in the Wonderlab. They can play on the dinosaur themed mini golf course, and get their hair and nails done at the Rockin' Spa. Best of all is the amazingly friendly and welcoming atmosphere at GKTW. The village looks like a fairytale world with brightly colored buildings, whimsical characters, and Mayor Clayton, a well dressed village who "runs the village". The village is spotlessley clean and very well maintained. Each week, volunteers happily fill over 1800 shifts doing everything from scooping ice cream, to serving meals, to power washing, to helping at parties, to running the carousel to help families have the week of their lives. All of the volunteers are so friendly and really go the extra mile to be kind to the wish children and their families. We've been volunteering during our spring school vacation week for the past four years, and it is the BEST! We look forward to it for the whole year and pack as many volunteer shifts into our week as possible, because being at GKTW and helping these incredible families is so rewarding and also fun. I highly recommend GKTW to families whose child qualifies for a wish due to tough medical circumstances, or anyone who would like to help out by volunteering. GKTW truly is the BEST place in the world!
