This place is tucked behind the front row of restaurants, but was a cozy little spot my hubby picked for date night. We chose our table and were immediately given menus and served water. I was surprised, but they offer Happy Hour even on weekends! Both my hubby and I chose from the Happy Hour menu - a Pinot Noir for him and the Chardonnay for me. I was bummed, the Chard wasn't great and I wasn't planning on having more than a glass. Next time I'd skip the Happy Hour wines and just choose a better wine off the menu. Food. We came here for date night and I was starving. I was surprised to see such a small and limited menu. I think they're limiting themselves by only offering sharable items or single items at such a steep price. I started with Juan's Tostada for myself and my hubby chose the Notorious P.I.G.. The tostada was delicious! Fresh and tasty, but I was still hungry. But for $19 there was no way I was ordering another one. I'm sorry but $40 for two single appetizers is insane, plus I figured I might still be hungry. So instead I ordered the Notorious P.I.G. with no cheese (I'm dairy free). It was good, but not amazing. Half the pizza was burned and the sauce was barely there. As I looked around there was a group of women having a birthday dinner and one other couple who arrived on a date. The couple split a meat + cheese board and left. The birthday party nursed their glasses of wine the entire time we were there. For my disappointment wine, my hubby's two glasses of wine, our two pizzas and my tostada we spent $87 before tip. For a mediocre offering that was insanely expensive. My girlfriends meet up frequently to catch up and I would suggest this place if it was half the cost, but we can go to plenty of places nearby and get a better glass of wine with more affordable food options instead. I don't forsee Wine a Little lasting long in this new development. read more

Since my last review, I've been here a few times. Wine a little is now one of my go-to spots for chillaxin. The staff just keeps getting better and better. Its crazy that Chop Shop is a back hall stroll away, yet Wine a Little is so super chill, that I can spend 2-3 hours sipping wine and talking with ease. I went with a friend on my latest visit, and we had nothing short of an incredible time. I don't know all of the names, but there's an Anna a a Dominique, both with exquisite personalities and great attitudes. They may this awesome place even more awesome. The food is also incredible. We had a couple flights of wine along with flatbread, and it was a fantastic experience. Not too long ago, there was nothing like this anywhere near here, now I can dine like Dallas, but in McKinney. If you are beginning to learn about wine perhaps this place is where to start, as it's only going to be an improvement wherever else you go. Food is basic, wine is limited and very elementary, owners demonstrate they are swimming upstream in their wine selection as well as how they set up the venue. Ambiance and music reflects a bachelor pad with club music, as the owners are trying to show they do things different. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the atmosphere was when I walked in. There are several secluded spots to socialize and bar seating as well. I was greeted immediately by the bartender upon arrival and the other staff was really friendly as well. I asked for some recommendations based on my tastes and the recommendation from the bartender was spot on. U unfortunately missed brunch by 30 minutes but was able to order off the regular menu and landed on the fried chicken and goat cheese salad. Both tasted really well but I would like to plan better to make brunch next time because I saw a few items I wanted I try, mainly the chicken and waffles. Overall I rate this establishment very well because of how friendly the team was and the atmosphere. I look forward to visiting more in the future and getting more into the wine selection. read more

Great ambiance, super cozy and friendly. I got the wine flight and was able to try three of their wines for $26! They also have a good menu with some boards, small plates, flatbreads, and some entrees. I didn't try any of the food since I just stopped by to grab some Friday eve libations before dinner. They do live music and I really enjoyed it. Great bartenders and wine selections! It's a bit tucked away so I don't think a lot of people know they're even here but I highly recommend coming here for a relaxing time! read more

Stumbled upon this little gem after trying to go to the coffee shop across the way to work and was met with a sign at 360 cafe stating no laptops allowed on the weekend. Anyway, I'm glad I spotted this place as it is somewhat hidden. The interior is super vibey and with tables and lounge chairs if you're in the mood to just sip wine and not eat. They have a nice happy hour featuring a large selection of wines that are really good. The music and ambiance is nice although the day I went there was a screaming toddler that somewhat impacted the vibe. Service was great- special shout out to Ana who was super attentive and made awesome recommendations. I decided to try their fried chicken because I was curious as to how a wine bar is serving fried chicken.. it's a bold move but I must admit it lived up to the hype. The food was so fresh and the batter was perfection/ crispy on the outside without impacting the flavor or tenderness of the meat. I couldn't believe how good it was and would recommend. Don't get me wrong, LOVE LOVE ! Wine a Little! Wine selection great, food great! Service great! However, the bathroom situation is terribly gross for both men and women. It has gotten worse each visit. Tonight, the women's bathroom at 7pm was already a problem. Of the 3 stalls, 1 was OUT OF ORDER, the second was clogged with paper towels, leaving 1 for use. That's between Wine a Little and the Chop Shop. And I presume much traffic from the concert. The hubs visited the men's bathroom and there are 3 stalls and, according to him, ALL nasty. A hot mess at 7pm. Dudes?! All that to say, WTH? PLS figure it out! read more

This is a good place to unwind with a glass of wine, and a book. I came with a friend after a particularly crazy work week and we stayed for hours chatting. Decent selection of wine, and they have some flight options. Ambience is modern, yet cozy. They have a limited food menu but we didn't check that out other than a cheese board. Nothing spectacular about the cheese board though. The best thing on it was the caramelized onion jam. Since it's a wine bar I expected better offerings on the board. read more

My only reason for giving this 4 stars vs 5 is because I just wish they had some sides w/ their fried chicken. The brunch items we had were the chicken and waffles, avocado toast, side of breakfast potatoes, a lavender lemon mimosa and a mango peach mimosa. They used flavored ice cubes for the mimosas. The cubes could use more flavor but overall good. The chicken and waffles were good, however the only change I would make to that would be to use chicken tenders. I had a wing and breast and it was really hard to eat and get the meat. I feel like I didn't get much. The tenders would be a lot better. They also don't have regular syrup for the waffle, just hot honey or honey. It would have been nice to have syrup to soak my waffle in. The breakfast potatoes were delicious. Mel, Trinity and Patrick are the most unprofessional individuals I've met working in the service industry and I'm turning 46 this year, Food is horrible, priced too high and the staff and wine are horrible. Avoid at all cost unless you want to get in the way of Patrick and Trinity getting to know one another or Mel's boyfriend misunderstanding that you like to have conversation and threaten to kill you if you ever show up there again or the Chophouse both of which will never happen.
