Ooof came in here searching for a specialty wine shop and since they have "Wine" in the name and have decent reviews I thought I'd give it a try. I couldn't have been more misguided. If what you're looking for is Barefoot, Josh's and hard liquor by all means stop by - Avoid if you're actually semi-serious about wine or have a remote interest in wine at all - I will leave it at that. read more

Customer service was very friendly. The lady helped me to find a nice soft wine. Still is not the taste I was looking so I have to go back and try more new ones, however the one she gave me was pretty ok. If you check in, you get a Yelp discount. There is an adorable cat in the store. read more

This place was right around the corner from my old apartment and the staff there is amazing. The five stars is for them and their awesomeness. PThey were super helpful when I wanted suggestions for a wine and cheese night. Their prices are not the cheapest you can find but for their friendliness and knowledge it was always worth it. I also got a great wine opener from here and like their selection of canned wines and other cocktails. Plus they had a decent selection of sake and sparkling wines and champagne too. read more

Wine Heaven is a small/medium liquor store. This is a review of Wine Heaven pre-COVID. Selection here's not bad. They have a fridge with chilled items in the back. They also sell disposable plastic wine glasses, champagne flutes, etc. It's not a large space, but it doesn't feel too cramped either. They scrape price tags off bottles when checking you out, which is something more liquor stores should do. read more

Wine Heaven is one of the closest wine shops to my apartment and usual way home from work. There are a few other wine and liquor shops on 3rd Avenue heading downtown and a BuyRite a few blocks north, but I prefer a neighbor spot. The selection is decent and has a general variety of red and white and some varied liquor and liqueur options. They have tastings and sales every now and then. One night I was in a bind and in Fairway sad that I missed my chance to run to Wine Heaven before it closed. Keep that in mind during the week. read more

So I'm not really sure how to rate wineries seeing as how I don't drink, but I visited this shop when my friend was looking for her booze fix. I'm not too into the alky since I love tea so much more, but this place is cute and charming and a lot of that has to do with the fact that two dear mature women who are friendly as they come own the shop and add to the environment of it not being just some typical winery. Their positivity and charm rub off on you while you're in the shop and it almost makes it cozy! How straange to get all this from simply visiting a winery! But my friend purchased the cutest wine bottle-- strawberry flavored w/ actual floating strawberries in it. But wow! She offered me a sip and man, that was some strong stuff! I purchased a wee-little-bottle of smirnoff for a gift for a friend. Great place to go for wine purchases! read more

This local wine shop as an excellent selection, good prices, and the owners are really friendly! There are plenty of places to pick up a bottle of wine, sure, but what I find here is a big selection of quality items. I usually stop here once a week or so as they also have frequent sales going on and it's a great place to pick up something new to try. read more

When you walk in you are greeted by a floor mat that says, "Jack Lives Here". And he does. A big, beautiful, tiger striped, city cat named Jack who usually sits near the counter. This wonderful little wine shop is everything you want in a neighborhood wine shop. A great selection, with reasonable prices, organized in a way that makes finding things on your own quite easy. But if you need advice, the great, friendly, shop owners are always there to suggest the right thing. I asked for a good Rose and the woman who owns the store suggested a medium priced wine that was exactly what I wanted - grapefruity without being sweet. There are two delivery/helpers there, who may seem quiet, but don't let that deter you They are really nice guys who want nothing more to help if you ask them. They are also the delivery guys if you order in, and get there in minutes. They have a great whisky selection too! But my favorite part of shopping here is seeing my new pal Jack the Cat. He sits perched on a shelf near the window, or sleeps on a perch near the window actually, and brightens my day every time I stop in. read more

Great wine pick up option in Kips Bay! Glad we found it! We went straight to the $12.99 or less wine section and were not disappointed. Would not recommend this liquor store- both bottles of Chardonnay I bought have been very carbonated which is a clear sign of wine gone bad.

This average liquor store is made charming and wonderful by the presence of the two women who run it, and their cat Jack Daniels who serves as the mascot of the establishment. There is a great selection of wine and liquor, and speaking as a somewhat financially strapped student, the selection of inexpensive wine is terrific. They have a monthly sale of 20% off selected wine, and even the full-priced bottles are wonderful, and when I say full-priced, I mean under $10-$20 of course. They also keep a vast choice of white wine and sparkling wine/prosecco chilled and ready to serve. There are only a few wine shops in this neighborhood, but this is the only one I frequent and I always leave smiling. read more

I worked a wine and liquor promotion in the store and left wishing I lived closer to this shop so that I could go there regularly. The owner and staff were very helpful, friendly and down to earth. During my three hour promotion I got to see everything from hectic rushes of students looking for the best thing to keep their buzz going, to the couple buying a gift, to the regular who didn't even have to ask for their bottle of choice. All situations were taken care of quickly and professionally. Shelves were constantly being restocked and maintained by two porters who also made deliveries. There's also a resident cat, named Jack Daniels. Great wine and liquor selections, If you live in the area you should definitely make 333 Wine Haven your go to liquor store! read more

This place is great, clean, wine bottles organized and easy to find on their shelves, and the prices are not disappointing. I also love their attitude, always in a good mood and glad to help us customers. Nothing bad to say about 33 Wine Heaven. Always clean, always a smily staff, and always something new to try. The last wine I tried there was The Oyster, a wine that helps fund the restoration of NY's oyster reefs, what a cool cause and awesome wine! I highly recommend giving it a try next time you stop in. The RUDEST employees at this place! I was shocked! There is a woman behind the counter and her two watchdogs were scowling at me from both sides, breathing down my neck. At one point, I felt like they were going to physically do something to me for looking at the wine! It was so uncomfortable and unnecessary!
