It's worth every single penny and I will always book with Tom when I "revisit". On a side note my mom needed a prescription filled and Tom dropped it off while we ate lunch in his amazing backyard and took us back to pick it up when we were done with our tour, it just showed what a kind man he is! We returned to Sonoma in 2026 with a small group and booked another tour. Booking and communication was a breeze. Very good. Ends up the property I rented offered a wine passport and we were to receive a discount. I called to confirm and they let me know the driver would apply the discount when we paid him the day of the tour. All sounded wonderful and was very clearly communicated. The tour in 2026 only went to 3 wineries. Two were just ok and one was not good. I don't think anyone on our tour purchased anything here. The time at each winery was like a typical tasting with some information on their winery. But no real information on Sonoma and Napa and the history of the area. At the end our driver had no clue on our discount and kept telling me he would get in trouble for charging me less. He insinuated I was making it all up. In the end he did honor the discount but seemed he did it as a favor not that it was a program that Platypus participates in. All in all I was disappointed in this wine tour and would no go on a platypus tour again and would not recommend them. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day. Luckily all the people on our tour were delightful so that made for a nice day.

From the start Valet of the Moon was super communicative and sooooo knowledgeable of the valley! They sent over great options of a variety of vineyards to visit. We were carefree and so relaxed as Colleen treated us like royalty but kept us in perfect sync with our schedule. If we needed to deviate from the plan, she was on it and Colleen went OUT OF HER WAY to act as a personal concierge for some celebratory needs that we requested. Unlike many people, I was not looking for a wine party, but rather a series of quality tasting of some great California reds, especially those with some age on them. She set us up with a tour of 4 top wineries which was just right for the day. Our tour guide and driver was Doug, and he was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. He seemed to know when to throw in some interesting tidbits about the history and wineries in the region, and when to give us time to enjoy the scenery and talk amongst ourselves. They not only provide historical information but gave us recommendations and told us fun stories. Howard is very fast on his bike but Melissa ensured the whole group was safe passing through busy streets and intersections. When our tour was due to end, Melissa guided us to a bonus spot which ended everything on a much more exquisite note. I highly recommend PushPak! It's a unique and fun experience even in the winter time. I recommend layering up with scarves, gloves, and a beanie but they provide a blanket if you don't. I had originally picked another company to drive us for this past weekend but I found out at the…read morelast minute that they don't do pickups from SF which is what I thought I needed. It's Wednesday morning and I'm scrambling to find a driver for Saturday and the other places I've called are booked full. Here comes Destination Drivers courtesy of my Chase concierge. David was perfect. I had to bring my dog along and honestly, I think my dog had a better time than I did all weekend! He constantly updated me with pictures, texted me to let me know that my next winery appointment was coming soon, brought cold water, etc. Card is also accepted for an additional fee, which was great because I needed receipts for work. I ended up just doing pickup and drop off in Napa rather than in SF but great to know that it's a real option compared to the other company I had in mind. My dog got to visit the wine caves at Beringer, which something I ran out of time to do!
