I visited the Wine Vault on a weekday afternoon after lunch with a friend in the area. The location is in a strip mall, off the beaten path. I was pleasantly surprised at this hidden gem. We were warmly greeted and found that the employee was very kind and friendly. They do tastings Wednesday at 5 pm so we weren't able to take advantage of that but we did a wine flight with 4 wines for $12. I thoroughly enjoyed all 4. It was a super cozy spot but large so if you came in with a large party you could easily separate yourself as there are several nooks you can duck away too. I would definitely love to visit if I'm in time again.

A great little wine bar! We were staying overnight near by and happened across them on Friday night. Quite a few glasses (and bottles) available to drink on comfy chairs and couches. A sign said they often have live music. The had a good sized bottle collection for purchase and we were pleasantly surprised by their reasonable prices for many of our favorites. Definitely worth a stop when in Charlotte.

I am a 15+ resident of CLT but a first-time customer, and it was awesome. I don't like a strong oaky finish, so I usually tend to go Italian, but they had a German Resling that was sweet and raident. I had to get a bottle. There are chairs and nooks available to catch up or work. It was such a vibe. I loved that you can relax and people watch with a light snack

Service was fine. The wine choices however were limited. I'd love not to have to drive so far for a better selection when I want wine out but I'm also guessing it suits the local college crowd just fine. Still if you are in the area it's a decent spot to check out.

Stopped by here this past weekend, my first trip here and I loved it! A lot of patio seating outside and really nice areas inside to chill and enjoy drinks. . . They had tons of wine to choose from and some coolers of beers for purchase, but what I loved the most was 5$ flights, I mean you can't beat that. They had great beers on draft to choose also, and service was great. . . If your looking for a good spot to relax and chill and enjoy the beautiful weekend, this is it.

Charming little wine shop by the lake. Stopped by and enjoyed a bottle of wine on the patio outside. The service was warm and friendly and a great selection of wines. I believe they even offer flight options as well.

My friend and I came here on a Sunday evening to check out this place and had a great time! We sat out on the patio right next to the boardwalk which was packed that evening. This wine bar doesn't have table service, you just go up to the counter and order a glass (they have the menu up behind the counter) or get a bottle from their store. We decided to share a bottle and were given glasses and the opened bottle to seat ourselves. The ambiance was great and their interior decor looked really comfy with sofas and armchairs, so it would be a good place to go to in colder days too. I just wish they had table service like I've seen in other wine bars.

They have some snacks (chips, cheeses, small desserts) but allow costumers to carry in whatever they want. The plaza that Wine Vault is located in has lots of take out options so customers often bring take out to Wine Vault.

We paid for premier parking but it took 55 minutes to get to the lot and then to a space due to their traffic pattern (.8 miles). We should have parked at a lot farther out for a cheaper price but I was concerned about parking on grass in a sedan if there was inclement weather. Due to the set up, the traffic impacted people using ride share as well. The concert was incredible but it would have to be another incredible artist to have me navigate the parking situation again.

Despite it being packed, we were seated immediately because we said we would take an outdoor table. As soon as the server came to our table to take our drink order, we made sure to order our food too. After this interaction, we never saw her again until the bill. Other employees ended up dropping off our drinks & food. I ordered 1/3 rack of the St. Louis Style ribs. It came with two sides. I chose French fries and chips & guacamole. Chips & guacamole was considered a premium side so they charged an extra $4. It took about 20 minutes for us to get our food after we ordered. This wasn't a bad wait considering how busy the restaurant was. Food was decent and the location was nice as it was on the water. The absolute best part of the whole dining experience was the music. Whoever was controlling the playlist that night deserves a raise. It was peak millennial, throwback to the Disney Channel days music. There was a ton of parking as the restaurant is located in a big shopping center. The guy even explained that he wanted to meet the band after and have them sign his poster. Too bad. They sent various other people back to their cars for other minor things too. They had about 5 beers to choose from all of which I would never ever drink nor would anyone else in our group which is saying a lot because we all have pretty diverse tastes. All of the beers were like $18, even the garbage beers. I expect that price as we pay $19/beer at the hockey games but the arena offers a great selection. I'll pay $19 for a good beer. There's literally NOWHERE to park in the area for free. Th cheapest lot we found was around the corner and at the end of the street in a gravel lot and it was 12 bucks. Parking right at the venue is 40 bucks. 2. Drink and beer prices inside are way high. A shaker cup cocktail is 20 bucks and it's ALL ice. Refills are 17 bucks!!!! Another thjng I didn't like is that the box office is not attached to the venue and is up the street and they didn't take cash for tickets there. My boys really enjoy this place, so I wanted to like it more, but the food was just okay and a bit pricey for what you get. Most items run about $14.99-$21.99, even appetizers are at entrée prices. I ordered the Carne Asada Fries appetizer ($15.99) after hearing they were "fire." The steak had good flavor, but the portion was light--fine for sharing, but not very filling. One entree, Big Dipper ($15.49), a roast beef seemed overcooked and there wasn't much meat on a large bun. Two people from the table ordered pizza. Neither ate more than 2 pieces. On the positive side, the beer selection is excellent, with plenty of options on tap and in bottles and cans--from Guinness to local IPAs. The atmosphere is also unique: plates cover the walls and ceiling from guests who've completed their beer challenge, which makes for a fun, quirky vibe you really have to see in person. Dart boards for those who want to be a bit more active. Overall, it's a great spot for beer and atmosphere, but the food and pricing didn't quite match the experience for me.

The amphitheater really does not have a poor spot in the house. There's also lawn seating as well! If you're going to a popular artist, you may be competing with the taller folks standing - to be expected - but overall great seating options. There's plenty of parking if you plan to drive, especially if you arrive early. Definitely worth it as you can walk right over from your spot and it's pretty easy to head out. Parking for events is typically $20. The security procedure getting in is also quite efficient. Make sure to check the bag policy before coming in. If you have assigned seats it's worth it to stop through VGBG to wait out the line, plus they validate parking if you're looking to have a meal before the concert. And if you're looking for other food options there's plenty within walking distance. Just check the days and hours, as concerts during the week may not have as many food options. The amphitheater has really nice restroom facilities and a few options for food and drinks. My friend and I really liked the cocktails - the watermelon tasted like a jolly rancher. They also come with their own cups, which you can bring back later for a small discount on a refill. The drinks are quite expensive, which is to be expected for onsite concessions. The Fillmore is also a notable venue, as it is really intimate and cozy. It was great because you can see your favorite artists up close. So happy that Charlotte has great venues for artists that I love. Looking forward to coming back again and again.
