This very quaint winery just outside of Kohler, was a gem of a find. The bartender that was there…read morewas fabulous. He was funny and very personable. I ordered the chicken tenders and the person with me ordered the brie platter. Both were amazing. My chicken tenders were some of the best I've ever had. I don't know what they used in the breading, but it was excellent. I tried a tasting of the sweet wines and love the blackberry wine and the peach Chardonnay. They also have outdoor seating. We did sit inside, if you're up in that area definitely go check it out.

Both the wine and the chocolates were very nice. We wound up buying a bottle of the Tuscan reserve to take home with some of the chocolates we couldn't finish. After a rest we came back for dinner at the Granary Bourbon bar. We were warmly welcomed. We liked the casual vibe and surprisingly it was not too loud. We started with a flight of old fashioned cocktails. We tried vanilla bean, honeycomb, and our favorite the cinnamon appke. For dinner we both had the Friday perch fry. The perch itself was very good with a nice panko coating. The fries were good too but they could have been warmer. Our server was very attentive and friendly. They were definitely on the game. Can't wait to return!

Great Gatsby vibes!…read more The space: You walk in and feel transported back in to the roaring 20s - will black and gold art deco decor. I just love it! You just want to grab a cocktail at the bar. It's so inviting. The drinks: Yes, it's a wine bar! Grab that wine menu and find something you enjoy. But don't dismiss the cocktail menu - I have been able to have some AMAZING cocktails here. It just might be my favorite cocktail bar in the Green Bay Area. I was able to have a pisco sour - which is incredible hard to find up in these parts. The food. Great apps, shareable and dinner options! Of all the ways to go, highly recommend getting a bunch of shareable versus just getting one thing. Can't wait to get back here!

We have been to Amphora many times prior to last night but after our disappointing experience last…read morenight we may not go back. The place was not busy and tables were open but we chose 2 seats at the bar. The bar was also not full. A server gave us water immediately and some menus. And then we waited and waited. Finally after watching the 2 bartenders clean glasses, walk back and forth, chat with others at the bar, we asked if we could order drinks. We got our drinks and were not asked if we wanted to order food. The service was at the lowest laziest point I've seen in a long time. The place slowly filled up and others were served. Not sure why we were invisible. We had to ask to close out and when she brought the check I explained our experience. She was nice and apologized but the service was so unprofessional and although we love to support small local businesses there are too many choices to put up with inattentive service. Do better Amphora.
