Cute little place! We needed to grab a late afternoon snack and stopped in to give this a try. I ordered a Seattle Dog. Delish!! Adding sauerkraut was the right move!! They had a cute patio and beer/cider options.

A red dog with Gouda and wine-infused topping, a cold soda, and a comfy seat outside. Just right for a sunny Yakima afternoon.

I was just looking for a good hot dog. And reader, did I ever find it. The name alone caught my attention - Winey Dogs? Hot dogs with wine? I knew I had to at least try it out. I went in on a Thursday afternoon and found a nice shady outdoor seating area and a cozy interior. I was greeted warmly and asked if I needed help choosing what I wanted. I could see why - there are plenty of different ways to get a hot dog (or sausage) at Winey Dogs. The Red Dog caught my attention immediately - an all-beef dog with Gouda and wine-infused veggies. It was even better than I'd hoped, packed with savory-sweet flavor and good to the last bite. Then came the debate - that was so good, should I get another? Of course I should. For the second round I tried a Fremont - this also included Gouda, but this time came laden with bacon crumbles, ranch dressing and honey mustard, with a pickle on top. It was gloriously messy and just as delicious as the first. I walked away from Winey Dogs feeling satisfied, but sure I'll want to come back again soon. Sometimes you just want a good hot dog, and these are some of the best.

Every time I go here the food is amazing. I usually get a poocheesy or a hun on a bun. Both are remnants of a hot dog place called "Poochies" that used to be here in Yakima and I love that this restaurant can keep that alive for us. Thank you!

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - overall was good but there wasn't anything special about it so it felt like something anyone could create Monster Nachos were chips with chili, nacho cheese, fresh onion, tomatoes, green peppers, and jalapeños. The ingredients seem fresh as the raw onions definitely had a crisp bite. Since it was in a rectangular container, the toppings were sitting on top and the chips at the bottom were pretty bare Backyard Dog with ketchup, mustard, and sweet relish. The bread wasn't toasted and the dog didn't have any grill flavor. Ambience: N/A - ordered food to go. The shop is bright with the grill outside Service: 5/5 - friendly and communicative Value for price: 4/5 - good ingredients, friendly service, and reasonable price. What you would expect from hotdogs but nothing super unique that you must stop for

Nice owners. Vegan options. Perfect lunch stop on our trip across Washington. Will be returning.

Winey Dogs is definitely a hidden gem of Yakima. I went with the Seattle Dog which tasted just like a Munchies dog for all the Cougs out there. They have a wide Friday of hotdogs, size, beverages, including local craft beer. There is ample seating inside, and a nice patio area with umbrellas outside, which makes for a perfect place to sit outside and enjoy a nice Eastern Washington afternoon. The staff was friendly, the prices for a small, and the food was excellent. Will definitely be back again. Next time I'm Kevin hot dog.

One of the best hot dogs I've ever had. My family was very pleased with the different options and the quality of the food. Fresh squeezed lemonade was available with different flavor options. The owners were there serving up the hotdogs and they were very friendly. I'd definitely recommend the quick drive into Yakima for this stop if you'd like a great bite for a great price.

We stopped by Winey Dogs today and had a very good lunch. The hot dogs were most tasty with lots of variety. The service was excellent, the prices were good, and a very clean establishment to enjoy a great lunch. The owners were most friendly and local. I will be back for another great lunch that I highly recommend.Backyard Dog

Delicious and inexpensive! Service was fast and friendly. I tried the Currywurst and a Lavender Bubbly Water. The curry ketchup on the dog was SO GOOD! Wish I could buy a bottle to take home. Size was decent, left me satisfied but not stuffed. Honestly, I wished I had ordered a second one because I didn't want the flavors to stop. Can't wait to try some of the other options soon! The Lavender Bubbly Water was good as well. They use pump flavoring, so it adds some sugar. I found it to be at a medium sweetness level. I might do half the flavoring next time, but that's only because I'm used to unsweetened bubbly. Definitely a nice stop for lunch!

Good dogs. Have a menu of specialty dogs but you can custom build your own too. They have best sausages from time to time.

Then I ordered 200 red bull drinks with 5 different flavors and instead she served this nasty yellow crap in cups. She claimed it was the best energy drink made. All of my 200 graduating students dumped it because it was so gross! The hot dogs were nasty and cold. I asked for a refund on JUST the redbulls because we didn't even get them and she ghosted me saying how sick she was. 6 months later and still no refund of 200 redbulls at $4.00 a piece! She is very unprofessional! Came to our event with nasty dirty clothes on and not even showered! If I could give this company a negative number it would be in the thousands!!! She will charge you over 3 Grand for poop!!! And No Redbulls!!!

I said I'll be back because I was not hungry at the time they said "oh so you weren't lying about coming back" Seriously! Why say that to a customer? $10 for a hotdog on a soggy sloppy bun. $12 for "nachos" tortilla chips drenched in chili beans so much that no chips could be seen. No thanks. Plus I've had many friends say they got sick from eating their food. If you're the owner and reading this be nicer to customers, lower your prices and make better nachos.

My family and I sat at the counter and had a great experience interacting with the staff while drinking and eating a variety of different flavored ice creams and ice cream sodas. There was no information about the building other than a small plaque on the wall saying that it was "gift to the community" in '96. The menu was VERY sparse! NO ice-cream (other than a couple individually packaged bars that you get from the local ice cream truck), no malts or sundaes- all of which is what a soda fountain was all about!!! Only a couple cold sandwich options, soup or hotdog- felt it was a bit spendy for what we received. The curry chicken sando was rather small. We spent just over $40 for two people and it was nothing special. Having "Museum" in the name, I just really expected a more authentic experience. It's all about the details- this place could go from just ok to GREAT if it just upped their game a little bit... Even just playing some classic oldies would help the vibe! If you're looking for Soda Fountain sundaes and malts head to Wenatchee.

CJ's has become the primary place to do this, at least from the folks that we buy from. Every time it's been done, we've gotten a phone call from them and gotten to choose the cuts that we want and how much ground meat we'd like as well. They've always been super helpful with that process, as we are never totally sure what all the options are - but these guys are always friendly and impatient. It's located just outside of Wapato, a bit out in the country. It's relatively easy to get to, and is easy to get in and out of from the road. Inside, the set up is very simple. It's a room with a couple of freezers and a checkout desk. They've always got tons of different cuts of meat available, and the service is always quick. Everybody's always very friendly and each time I've been there, I've been in and out within a couple minutes. What you pay, they have you pull around the east side of the building and load things up for you. It's honestly tough to want to expect much more from these guys. The prices always seem fair, and even with recent inflationary pressures, their prices for preparing the meat seem to be pretty normal. Give these guys - we are always happy when we do!
