However, there was a post on Facebook in the Columbus, GA Foodies group where people stated this place had one of the best fried chicken in Columbus! I went through the comments and saw there were changes with ownership and since then the place has turned itself around. And they were not wrong. The chicken was hot and fresh. Very flavorful. All of the food options- main dishes and sides were hot and fresh and seasoned. One of my complaints compared to another very popular buffet place is that the sides are never seasoned. However, here I had no issues. I don't think I had to add salt/pepper to anything! They were refilling trays of food the entire time. Nothing was low or completely out whatsoever. I honestly don't feel like I tried anything I didn't like! The service was great too! The entire place was clean but I enjoyed seeing the workers constantly cleaning the buffet lines after people were getting their food. This prevented food from getting on the floor and all over the line. The waitress was very attentive with checking on us, refilling our drinks and taking away our plates. At $12 a person, you can't beat it! I didn't give it 5 stars only because this is based off of ONE experience. I plan to go back very soon and hopefully the experience is the same or better. It will be super helpful if maybe they moved the register from right in front of the door but then again I'm not sure where they could put it since it's a smaller place. I'm still sticking with 4/5 stars. The food was still great. They had different options and I like that you can call and get what's on the menu for that day. The chicken was still great! However they ran out for a while which I'm sure is due to the large group that came in. The buffet line was packed and although they were coming out with food, it just wasn't fast enough compared to the people that were there fixing their plate. And again, I get it!
