We have been going here since they were down the road with Mikes pizza and a chocolate store, and the whole strip mall burned down on Thanksgiving many years ago. We watched the children grow up to be adults. They are always friendly. Food is always fresh and full of flavor. Our favorite is there fried dumplings ( the sauce is to die for), there beef sticks and boneless ribs taste like candy. Lomein, Fried rice, chicken and broccoli, general tso chicken, I can keep going. Keep up the good work and service and we will keep coming

I love Wing Hwa. I am local and always go in for the sushi specials. This place knocks all the others out the box. Great local spot.

The worst Chinese food we have had, won't be back. Will drive to our favorite place in Pen Argyl,,,,no comparison. Very disappointed.

I've been to Takumi for lunch a few times and decided to go back for dinner. Our waitress, Irene,…read morewas nice but the menu is pretty much so it took awhile until we were ready to order. Felt a little rushed. First we ordered some Edamame to start. They came warm with some spices on them. Tasted pretty good. Then had the spicy egg drop soup. It was a little more spicy than I would have liked but still good. Then I ordered a Tuna/Avocado roll and a Tempura shrimp roll. Both were a nice size and very tasty. I definitely plan to return.

She got their chicken teriyaki and it was obvious that this was better and fresher than any version of the dish she had. My girlfriend loved it. The chicken was tender and the vegetables were crisp. I ordered the sashimi dinner and it was some of the best sashimi I've had in quite a while. Great, fresh cuts with excellent flavors. I was beyond satisfied. The odd thing: My miso soup had way too much sodium but my girlfriend's was perfect. I'm not sure how that could even happen. The servers were kind and helpful, but they seemed to be a bit overworked and didn't check in as expected. The atmosphere can be improved. It felt like they had moved into an older restaurant and kept the tables and chairs without upgrading anything. Regardless, we cannot wait to return and try other dishes.

Also, with these places, you are expected not to waste food so you should consume the rice portion as well. Fair enough and totally understandable. When I called, I was glad to hear that they would allow for members in your party to order à la carte as long as the folks partaking in AYCE do not share. That is a very good way of appeasing the entire party. Walking in, I saw a sign that says BYOB. Another plus but unfortunately I didn't bring any drinks. After my wife looked at the menu, she too opted for AYCE because getting an entree isn't that far off price wise. This is a Chinese owned establishment but nonetheless, the sushi selections are amazing and different. The wait service is prompt and always ready to take your order, and the AYCE came with unlimited soft drink per guest. We ordered a few appetizers and I will say I really enjoyed the spicy edamame as it has a very nice garlicy taste to it. A letdown was the lo mein as I felt it was too garlicy for some reason while my wife felt it was a bit bland. For the sushi selection, they have single sushi pieces, rolls which come in 6 pieces, and special rolls which come in 8. They also have some cooked Asian fusion dishes like General Tso chicken as an example. One advice is they do give a lot of rice in the sushi so when you place your first order, go easy as that will allow you to gauge your speed for the rest of the meal. Throughout the whole time, we were never rushed and didn't have to wait super long to get our order. All in all, very good place for what it offers and will give 4 stars overall.

Fantastic service and great options for all you can eat sushi for $30 per person. Loved the exotic…read moredrink options as well.

I noticed they had rack of lamb as an appetizer, so I wanted to try it since it is a unique selection; it was fantastic; tender, and it came with a small serving of mashed potatoes, which were also very tasty. Moist inside with a crisp outer shell. Then the crispy calamari. A peppery batter and the inside was tender, not chewy. The portions for this were perfect, not too much, but a fair appetizer size. I finished off with the shrimp teriyaki. This was served on a bed of shredded vegetables and a side of rice. It had everything to be a good dish, but the sauce was lacking and tasted like a watered down teriyaki with pepper. I just wasn't here for it, but if you like an extremely mild teriyaki then it might be for you! Service: The waitress was attentive and even stopped by to refill my water. I really enjoy when they stop a few times so if you are needing extra sauce or condiments you can request them. Overall an ok experience. Ambiance: The atmosphere was different than I had expected. Dark walls with blue lights all over. The lighting was too dark for my personal taste and I'd prefer a classic white or candlelight style lighting when eating. Value: My meal was a great value for how much food I received and the variety of food. In total, my meal was $16 for 3 appetizer sized dishes, rice, and a bowl of soup. Recommend: If you are looking for a cool atmosphere with a fairly priced lunch menu, I would say this is the spot for you. If you were looking for bold flavors and a more authentic experience, I would opt to pass.

I ordered shrimp and scallop hibachi and it was incredibly oily and greasy, and the portion of shrimp and scallops was tiny. My friend also got hibachi and felt the same way. My salad was watery, and the clear mushroom soup tasted very strange. I couldn't take more than a bite of either the soup or the salad. For my entree, asked the server if I could please have extra vegetables instead of noodles, and she said that there was a "language barrier" in the kitchen, so she didn't want to ask that. I thought that was an odd comment for her to make. My daughter ordered some sushi rolls and liked them, and my husband and our friend also liked their sushi; so maybe sushi is a better choice here. The place is small and to echo other reviewers, tables are very crammed together and you will bump in to other people just by moving around. The place is cool looking on the inside and outside, definitely an interesting vibe, and they have a full bar. We did have to ask multiple times about the status of our beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). My drink was not good, it was a sake/lemon drop hybrid type of thing and it was insanely sweet - I couldn't finish it.
