Small but lots of character! Definitely the life of the "downtown" area of Newmarket on this Thursday evening as it was plenty busy with games playing on the TVs and people hanging out in the outside seating. It seemed a little understaffed but you wouldnt've really noticed since the waitress was holding it all down really well. It's a great place for wings (which is what I got) but their menu has a lot to offer and I hope to explore it more the next time. And $1 Jell-O shots! read more

Awesome wings! The sweet potato fries with cinnamon and brown sugar are fantastic! We get them every time now. This trip I got a Philly cheese steak bomb. It was gigantic! This is my go-to wing place while I am in the area and having wings craving. The chicken is always so fresh and crispy. I usually get the boneless wings and they never disappoint. Always crispy, cracklin' fresh like they just came out of the fryer (even through delivery, still hot and fresh). They also have a good variety of sauces, which is cool. read more

We are long time fans of Wing Itz! Their wings are the best in the area and there are tons of different sauces to pick from. Not a fan of wings? Don't worry- there are other choices on the menu as well. This location had a full bar available and ample bar seating. It also had outdoor tables that we enjoyed sitting at! In terms of this location versus other wing-itz: we found the wings to be a little less crispy here than the other ones. We love how crispy they typically are so that was a slight disappointment. Still- best wings around- for sure! Parking on the street can be difficult l but the area is very cute and walkable so I'm sure you could find a lot further down and still enjoy the walk! read more

It feels weird reviewing a place where I don't eat their specialty (wings) and have only been to several Happy Hours, but I wanted to give them props, and tell folks about the best Happy Hour menu I've found in the area. So, Mondays, 3-6PM (if I remember correctly) is the time to go. 1/2 off appetizers, tap beer and mixed cocktails. Which works out to a phenomenal deal. Thus far, we have tried the twice-cooked fries (best in show for region), several times, with various dipping sauces. Three out of four times, these have been the best fries I've had in years; the fourth time they were over-fried and made me feel rather sick. I believe a basket, large enough to modestly split, will run you $3.50, during this Monday window. I do not "do" cauliflower, but a friend tried it fried, and liked it a lot - smaller portions than any other thing we tried here, but still decently sized. $5 The fried pickles and fried jalapenos were just average, but Mountainous, and worth the price. Well worth it. As above, price was within a very reasonable range. I have not always been pleased with the beer menu, which leans towards hoppy. But, to be fair, it's rare to see a place that doesn't, these days. And the well-drinks/cocktails lean toward sweet, ditto to observation above with hops. At $3.50/$4.00 a pop, I can hardly complain. Overall, if you're down with fried foods, this Happy Hour can't be beat. Highly recommended. Had a chance to talk with owner once. Very nice, grounded guy. Absolutely love this place. With my allergies it's hard to eat out but they always work with me on it. Wing-Itz has become a weekly staple. The honey mustard or the lemon pepper wings are the go to! Hands down the best wings I've had. We ordered a few different flavors and everyone at the table shared. The blueberry chipotle BBQ seemed like an odd flavor but it was so good! Today we ordered 30 boneless wings (garlic parm, mild buffalo, and honey mustard), 10 bone in wings (wicked hot), and French fries. Everyone was happy with the food. The fries were hot, crispy, and well flavored. The wicked hot wings had and amazing flavor with a good heat and the wing itself had a nice crispy skin and moist inside. The boneless wings were also cooked really well, crisp outside and moist inside. The favorite flavor out of the boneless was the mild buffalo. Used to eat here all the time and they were always on the pricey side, but I thought it was (barely) worth it. Recently however, the prices have been jacked up to completely ridiculous amounts. I am all for supporting businesses after COVID but there is absolutely zero chance I will ever buy from this place ever again as long as the prices are where they are. On top of that, half the time when you get takeout they forget to give you celery or the wings are horribly under-sauced. If you own a Tesla and can afford being price gouged, enjoy the food.
