I ordered DoorDash. I had the big Texan chicken sandwich, the only thing that was good about it was the slaw and sauce. The chicken was so overcooked it was so chewy. I also ordered 12 boneless garlic parmesan wings. I could barely bite into them they were so overcooked. I threw them away. read more

I was craving crunchy wings for dinner and I was in the area, and have had Wing Snob before from the Sterling Heights and Southfield locations, so I placed an online order for pickup. I had a BJ's pickup scheduled and was going to get gas there so it worked out well, location-wise. I really just wanted some boneless wings but it was about $8.75 for six wings, or you could do a six wings combo meal for $10.99, which included fries and a soft drink. That seemed like the better deal so I opted for that, and ordered teriyaki wings. Pickup was quick but the drink situation is weird - they throw a cup in your takeout bag and you can fill it at the soft drink station before you leave. However, the placement of the station is awkward - it's literally right next to the register - so I felt like I was in the way of the person who was trying to check out after me. They only have like four drink choices with online ordering but the drink station has a few so I got an orange soda. The wings were juicy and tasty, especially the teriyaki sauce, but unfortunately didn't have the crunch I was craving (a la B-dubs). The fries were perfect - they tasted like beer-battered fries, which are my favorite. Next time I will try Lemon Pepper or one of the flavored ones (chicken and waffles fries?! Also a wing flavor option). Overall I'd come back to this location, especially since it's the closest Wing Snob to me, but I usually go to Detroit Wing Co. for wings, since it's five minutes away and they do a happy hour special (40% off boneless wings, 3-5pm daily). read more

The brown bag with the wings and spiced fries dripped oil from my front door all the way to the kitchen. The entire bottom was soaked. The wings sat in a pool of oil in the bottom of the cardboard box. The fries were soft and extremely greasy. This is from cooking too much too fast. The oil temp drops and it leaves everything really greasy. The spice package was very good. The cooking was terrible. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with Wing Snob. Our order was ready faster than expected, and curbside pickup is available. The Cauliflower Wings were large and well sauced. I liked the honey bbq flavor, but it was a bit too sweet for me to eat a lot of that sauce. Thankfully, we also got lemon pepper and buffalo wings, both of which were great. The wings could have had a bit more sauce, which I didn't know, so I didn't order any on the side. The garlic parmesan fries were also tasty and the parmesan flavor came through strongly. I'm glad I ordered wings to celebrate the Super Bowl with no intentions of watching the game. I would recommend again especially the buffalo wings read more

I will start by saying the quality of the food here is really good. We did the boneless wings (30) so we could try multiple sauces. The cuts of meat were very good and the pieces were big. The Sweet Chili was just the right amount of heat and the Snobby Q was a favorite. The Garlic Parmesian is a butter based sauce so by the time we got home it was sort of dry. We ordered a side of the chicken and waffles and I'm glad we got it on the side- it's like pure syrup. I think we would use it as a dip for tenders next time but I'm not sure how it would be as a coating to the wings. I waited a day to post this because I wanted to make sure that I wasn't still upset. We ordered online for curbside. I was early and as the directions stated I called. It wasn't ready, which I anticipated. (Figured it was better to be early because fried foods are best hot.) I waited 25 minutes, 10 minutes beyond the scheduled pick up time. I went in and was told that they were ready, 5 minutes before. So not only did I have to come inside for a curbside pickup, my food had been sitting getting cold for the last 5 minutes. I had already tipped 20% in advance and was very frustrated. They did call to apologize and offered me some comp food. (No instructions on how to get it though. I thought I would see a refund or credit on my account.) I think it's worth mentioning though because if you offer a curbside service, the food should be run out when it is ready. It's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I love that you can get 50/50 boneless and traditional. Wings are huge and juicy. Breading on boneless is perfection --and I usually hate breaded boneless wings because it's too much breading and no chicken. Great homemade sauces. My two favorites so far are awesomesauce and snob-b-que. even the ranch is incredible as it's got a heavy dill flavor. Cajun fries are on point! I've tried the chili cheese fries at another location and they were just okay. And to finish, you must have some cheesecake! The Superman is great but the strawberry crunch is by far the best. In short, it's kinda blue cheese-flavored ranch with no actual bits of blue cheese. So ... if you like blue cheese dressing with your wings .... it falls a bit short. Staff was incredibly rude. As soon as I walked in the door, the cashier verbally complained about there being too many people despite there only being two others in the restaurant. When I took an extra three seconds (literally just three seconds) to make sure I picked out the fry flavor my girlfriend wanted, she grumbled loudly about "why should she have to take someone's order who doesn't even know what they want." The food took twice as long to make as they told me, and it felt like the entire staff went above and beyond to make everyone in the restaurant uncomfortable while they waited. I didn't hear a positive word from that kitchen. But at least the staff is going above and beyond to keep the "snob" in "Wing Snob." I know BDubs doesn't have the best wings but I'm the biggest fan of their mango sauce, especially back when it used to be spicier. So when I get wings at any other wing joint my brain thinks, wings + mango hab. = your wildest dreams. However, reality is most of the time mango hab. wings everywhere not that good and are either too sweet, too much real fruit/pulpy taste, too many other fruit flavors other like pineapple or peach. Wing Snob's mango habanero was one of the better ones I've had, way better than I expected and I would totally order them again. Maybe because their mango is really similar to Buffalo Wild Wings except Wing Snob's has a very very slight different mango/fruit flavor, more seasoning and herb flavors, and wayy less spicy than Bdubs. So if you've always liked Bdub's mango but couldn't take the heat, Wing Snob is your aficionado. Their spiciest flavor I thought wasn't hot either but had a good Buffalo taste and pepper taste. You could get hints of ghost pepper/reaper flavor and dashes of Cajun like herbs but is nothing compared to bdubs blazn' in terms of heat. I really liked the flavor but just wish it gave me a punch in the guy as well in terms of heat. Corn bread wasn't special but has more bounce than your standard corn bread / not super dense. The coleslaw was above your average grocery store or KFC coleslaw with longer shreds of vegetable, black pepper, other herbs, and a good amount of mayonnaise. The cheesecakes at Wing Snob are from Kitty's Cheesecake, a local Cheesecakery/Bakery in Ferndale. So when you look at the menu and have the slightest thought that you don't need a slice of Cheesecake or how good can cheesecake be at a wing restaurant... Be aware, that doubt is not your conscience or your diet angel, but rather the devil. The potential side effects of saying "No" to the cheesecake are: anxiety, depression, severe remorse, flashbacks, & reoccurring nightmares where you're ordering at Wing Snob and even though you only want a slice of cheesecake, you open your mouth to order but end up speaking in tongues, go into a trance, and ultimately find yourself in bed again at 2am thinking, "I should have really gotten that cheesecake." (Cheesecakes are same price as Kitty's Cakery, $5 a slice, unless you did grub hub then it was $6) read more

Been wanting to try this place for a while. I chose sweet chili sauce for the wings which was a great selection. Wings were a bit dry. Side of seasoned fries which didn't taste like much of anything but a plain fry and they weren't hot. The meal doesn't come with dressing that's $1.00 extra. Wing snob is pretty decent I like the cauliflower option and beyond chicken what I can't get past is how bad they keep messing up my order, forgetting food or handing you the wrong order when ordering to go. I do have to say sizes are plentiful lots of sauce choices, all the sauces I have tried have been flavorful and a good amount in the cup. I called on my way back, to let them know, the woman made rude comments as if it was MY fault. We got tenders with ranch, honey mustard, and bbq, boneless wings with the snobby sauce and the sweet chili, regular fries, and garlic Parmesan fries. EH. I absolutely love chicken wings so I decided to try this place as Wing Snob is a new to SE Michigan and I had never heard of it before. It was not terrible, but not great. This place has the fast food restaurant vibe going, meaning your food is served in a carboard box. I spent a little over $18 for eight traditional buffalo wings and French fries. The seasoned fries were amazing. However, the wings are medium size and pretty expensive. I would stop in again if I were in a hurry and there were limited or no other restaurant options. However, if I were going out for wings then I would just hit up BWW. There wings are much larger and for $20 you get a lot more of them. read more

I don't necessarily blame the location we ordered takeout from today so much as the quality of the product. The food was still hot after a 10/15 min commute home, and looked as good as it could have I think. The service was good, and people working there were friendly and efficient. The low score is due to the actual food itself. I'm not sure if this is what the normal product is supposed to be like as today was our first time trying this. But the breading was light and the chicken seemed like a rubbery alternative to chicken. It was pretty much inedible. 9 bucks for three small chicken tenders seemed high, but I'm perfectly fine with that if it actually was real good quality chicken. This feedback might be more geared towards the brand itself versus the location (apologies that it might affect their rating/reviews). The dollar menu Wendy's chicken nuggets far exceeded this quality and I hope for a place that is literally called wing snobs that they can adjust the product to align with the name and do better so their branches can get the ratings that they deserve. read more

Horrible experience, customer service and lazy staff. We placed a to go order with a ready time of 10:52. We arrive at 10:57 to all of the lights off but the staff are in the process of leaving. We stop them, point out our food that is already paid for on the counter and they say take it up with door dash they're closed. Even at the time of this conversation, it's NOT 11pm. I love Wing Snob! Best wings in town BUT...... I walked in to the Madison Heights, MI location tonight, ordered a 10-piece boneless with two sauces and a side of blue cheese. The wait time was short - the kid at the register handed me my order (called my name) and I left. My first mistake was not checking the box for the correct order, instead I just read the receipt. Got home after a 10 minute drive, opened the box and.......wrong order! I got back into my car and called the restaurant on my way back...another 10 minute drive. When I arrived at the restaurant, the same kid was at the register, handed me the correct order (I checked it this time) and took the incorrect order back. My second mistake was not asking for a manager....why? Because A)he never apologized for giving me the incorrect order in the first place and B)the wings had been sitting on the rack for (minimally) the 20 minutes I had been driving back and forth! I didn't think to touch them before I left, but I did need to reheat them as cold wings just aren't my thing. Will I return? Absolutely! Like I said, Wing Snob has the best wings. Their food is amazing, however if you plan to order for deliver, use Uber eats, not doordash. Doordash put our order and address in wrong do it got delivered to the wrong address, so we reordered through doordash, gave them our address again, it still got delivered to the wrong house. 3 hours after ordering our neighbors brought us our second order that got delivered to them and our doordash forgot to order the fries. So I ordered them through Uber eats and our fries got here in a very timely matter, and were delicious. No bad blood with wing snob, I just recommend ordering through Uber eats instead of doordash. read more

Food was fabulous! I give this place a solid 10! The girl upfront was very knowledgable and answered all my questions precisely. Ordered a 10pc boneless (awesome sauce/jamaican jerk) and a garlic parm fry, the boneless weren't what I expected what so ever!
