When we go out to eat, we go out for lunch. We are not "morning larks" or "night owls." We are "mid-day magpies." Lunch is our preferred meal out. We have been waiting for Wingman to open for several months, as it is close to our home and a very pleasant walk. We were not disappointed in the service or food in any way, and look forward to visiting this establishment on a regular basis. They have excellent beer taps, which is so welcoming in the midst of wine bar after wine bar. Since they have only been open for a week, there are still a few things to work out, but overall they are doing a great job and we hope they stay in business for a long time. Both the owner and the chef paid us a visit at our table, and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Our only suggestions are that they add a fresh crudite plate and a fresh fruit plate (or combo) to the menu. These would compliment the salty, tangy wings and burgers, etc. as a refreshing side dish. If they are able to bring in live music, make it early and make it soft! Lots of places around town offer loud late night music, but no one offers afternoon acoustic performances suitable for all ages and a conversational environment. We can't wait for the patio to open next summer! We will be back, and we welcome Wingman Birdz & Brewz to our neighborhood. read more

Food was so so, my wifes burger came missing an ingredient and when she called them out on it they said "oh yea, were outa that" asked for a side of fruit for our toddler and got half an apple sliced up... Not really great for small kids with limited teeth. Overall it was edible food, but i wasnt satisfied with what i got for $50. read more

This one is a tough one because I want so badly to give it 5 stars based on the food but service was so unsatisfactory that I've gotta dock a couple of stars. My friend and I sat bar top where we were greeted by an older gentleman. He wasn't overly friendly, didn't smile, and was very quiet. Not what you would expect at a bar like this. For lunch we ordered the hummus plate, buffalo cauliflowers, and some wings. The hummus plate was decent, the buffalo cauliflower was good, but the wings were AMAZING!!! We got the peanut butter an jelly ones (to die for), the siracha ones, and the maple bacon (also to die for) I had a sour beer with our lunch that was pretty good. Truthfully, would have stayed longer if service would have been better. We had to wait forever for the bill and then when we got it, took forever to close out. We showed up for the Seahawks playoff game tonight to a very festive crowd. We had to wait 15 min for a table, but with free wifi and a view of the game- we were happy to wait. Food was great, our server, Chris, noticed when he brought the wings out that one of our choices was wrong. He was quick to bring out the correct order gratis. Loved it!! We got 6 different sauces. Everyone had their favorites. Mine was the maple bacon bourbon!!! Yum, yum! We tried the squawking buffalo sauce. Unimpressed, went with a large group, service was super slow and kind of unfriendly. Food was okay, got a wrap and the sauce was really good but the rest of the meal was alright. For what I got, I thought a bit overpriced. The large open doors while a good idea in theory, just caused a fly problem. Didn't appreciate swatting flys while trying to eat. Really did expect more since I've heard people rave about it. Just didn't do it for me. May go back for a second chance, maybe. read more

I took my brother here because he loves wings. We were very disappointed in the wings. We had a party of 3 and paid over $100 for very dry wings and over cooked fries. The only thing that was good was the wine selection at Happy hour and that's the only reason I gave 2 stars. Our server was nice but forgot a few items and brought us the wrong beer. I recently visited Wingman Birdz and Brewz and was pleasantly surprised. Upon entering I found the atmosphere inviting and fun. The bars architecture is something to behold as you watch your favorite team dominate whatever sport you're into. I found the service staff to be inviting and very nice as I was taken to my seat. Not being sure what I was in the mood for I decided to order the sandwich on special which was a Chicken Remy PO-Boy. After a very brief wait, my food had arrived. The sandwich looked very good, and the fries looked like they were cooked to perfection, I had no idea. I long for the days before Wingman. The days that I could spend, ignorant of that PO-Boy, days that I could enjoy other food. As my mouth closed on the first bite of that sandwich, the clouds parted above me, God himself reached down and gave me a high five. Tears rolled down my cheeks as the moist chicken exploded with flavor into my mouth. The crisp vegetables singing a harmony that can only be heard by Angels and basset hounds. The toasted ciabatta, both crunchy and soft were pillows of perfection. I look around the Restaurant and new color fills my life. I have finally found happiness, dare I say joy. As I lay in bed, Chicken Remy PO-boys dance in my head. I know that my life is complete. An epiphany washes over me. My mind grows clear, my body still. Bad service! Didn't eat any food. Sat down for 15 minutes had servers look at us & help other tables but not even acknowledge us. There were two employees standing on the staircase that we could see shooting the breeze. The final straw was the waitress who came to the table directly behind us and not helping us either. Me and my husband took our kids here for dinner last night and it was AMAZING. We had such a fun night, atmosphere is so cool with great music playing and staff was so accommodating. Both of my children have special needs and the staff was so sweet to them, my girls LOVED the sliders and I ordered the bacon maple bourbon wings and really enjoyed them. Went to have lunch with out of town business associate. Were seated then waited 14 minutes without anyone returning to wait on us. Meanwhile watched others who came in behind us get full service. I'll start off by saying the service was great, the beer selection ample, and the atmosphere was entertaining. I ordered buffalo and spicy bbq wings which were cooked properly and both sauces were very tasty. Unfortunately at $22 for a dozen wings this is not a place I would frequent often. The menu stated they were jumbo wings but mine appeared to be standard size. If you can stomach $22 for 12 wings it is a nice place to have a meal. read more

It was getting late and i knew they were trying to get things cleaned up and ready to close so i did not inform the waitress of the mistake and ate the food anyways. I know it was my fault for not asking them to correct the mistake but then again it should have been avoided in the first place. I also ordered a half dozen wings, which were cooked fine but they tasted of very distinct fried fish. I looked over the menu to see if there was anything fish related on it and did not find anything, i find it weird they tasted like that. I guess maybe it is my fault for dining late in the evening, the wait staff could have been tired from working diligently to satisfy their customers. Loved everything about this spot. I read a couple not-so-good reviews, so I was a little nervous about eating here, but it was l late on Sunday so it was the only place open. Anyway, we got seated quickly and the waitress was really nice. We came during the summer, so we got to use their outdoor seating which was nice. We ordered the Cougar fries, Tortaletta Sliders, Tequila Lime wings, and Red Curry Thai wings. Everything was well cooked and tasty! As a WSU Alum and someone who now lives in Pullman, the Cougar fries weren't as cheesy as I would've liked them to be. It had great flavor, but I would have wanted to taste more of that delicious cheese. The Tortaletta sliders were awesome. We ordered our burger medium and it was cooked perfectly, the bread was nice and toasted, and had a little crunch to it. I'd highly recommend those, especially if you're there for happy hour. Now for the wings...both favors were delicious. The Red Curry Thai tasted exactly like what it sounds like, so if you love Thai Red Curry with rice, you'll love this fusion. I absolutely loved the Tequila Lime flavor, the wings were cooked perfectly and had a great crunch. If you wanted to stick with one flavor, I'd go with the Tequila Lime. Me and my family ate dinner here tonight and left with a very unpleasant experience. We usually go to The Brick, but decided to dine at Wingman. The brunette waitress we had was a horrible and disrespectful to say the least. I talked to her about my experience and issue at the end of the dinner, she was so full of pride it was disgusting. She did nothing for the restaurant when it came to customer care. Honestly, you will have better service, better food, and better prices anywhere else in Walla Walla. read more

Yeah, I know. There are a lot of wing places around. But these guys do it well. They cut their own boneless wings; to look like wings. Fooled me... Sauces are great! The cauliflower in wing sauce is great 'cause I can get me vegetables and still meet the cravin' for hot! Four IPAs on tap; five if you count the nitro. Cougar Gold fries? How can a WSU alumni not love that. Also, lots of TVs and good service. And since we're on the topic of college; right next to Whitman College and coeds everywhere. On our first quick trip to visit Walla Walla, at a certain point we realized we were starving! We arrived around 8pm. The atmosphere was great, very lively. I ordered a turkey burger and it was deliciois. It came with enough fries to feed a horse. Only reason for 4 stars would be that the service was a bit slow.
