Our trip to Walla Walla was not planned, but we were sure happy to come across this place. A great variety of beers and the food selection was nice. But the best part or Wingman was the service. Our server Deborah was possibly the best server we've ever had. She was so friendly and actually sat down with us to hear our accidental trip to town. We would definitely come back. Would not recommend eating here. The food is average but nothing stellar. However, the biggest upset is the establishment's deceptive business practices. Went in for happy hour and the beer list had no prices, but figured a beer would be in a normal price range regardless. Ordered a craft beer that the waitress then proceeded to offer me a second one of without any sort of warning as to the insane cost for a single 6 ounce pour of beer. After receiving the bill, I found out that a single glass cost $13. After this experience, I would not recommend eating here with such evident shady practices. read more

I just moved to town and was looking for a fun local hang-out; I found it! Great food, friendly service, and I love that one wall opens up when the weather is nice. I had the traditional wings with the verde sauce, #2 buffalo sauce, and the Parmesan sauce. I loved all 3! Now to try the 22 other sauces... Food seems great and the beer selection is awesome. However... Don't order the wings (is that Irony?). For some reason I just did not enjoy the wings whatsoever despite it being called "Wingman's Birds and Brews." You got your run of the mill dad's and middle aged peeps keepin it poppin here. It seems fun but also it seems annoying. Awesome lights out front and the staff is really nice. Good family vibe. Just don't get the wings, get something else that rocks like their burgers. The wings here are awesome and the service is great too! The bartender was super friendly and our food came out in less than ten minutes. Stopped in for an early dinner and was very pleased with my experience! First off, this place is very aesthetically pleasing. (not surprising since it's new, but still impressive). It's going to be especially nice when the weather warms up and they open up the folding windows that take up most of the outside walls. I got a PLT (P for Panchetta) that was delightful. My friend went the wing route and seemed just as pleased. They also had a nice selection of micro-brews which we took advantage of. Service was excellent! Both our server and the manager were very friendly and knew their menu. We got to try a puree before making a choice on wings, I thought that was really nice. Glad we chose Wingman for dinner! I came here for lunch at 1:00 on a Saturday. The restaurant was busy, but we had no problem getting a seat. The food was subpar- I had 6 boneless chicken wings with maple bacon bourbon sauce, the sauce tasted great and had a lot of flavor, but the chicken itself was kind of dry, and had no seasoning from what I could taste. We also ordered the wrap, and again, the chicken was dry, and we ordered the angus pastrami on rye, which was tasty. The restaurant has a good selection of micro-beers on draft. The food was good. Our appetizer was nice, but small and the service was a little slow. I ordered a BBQ bacon burger with a veggie patty instead of the beef and was brought some kind of southwest burger. I let the server know and she removed my plate and 3/4 of my Caesar Salad (my side item) and brought back only the corrected burger...15+ minutes later. So, I lost most of my side and had to wait an additional amount of time because she rang up the wrong item (our receipt clearly showed the error). Overall, okay experience. read more

We've eaten at this restaurant several times. Although, I wouldn't say it's the best food in town (but it is good!) they do have great burgers and the Chicken Birds Nest fries are awesome! They also have a good kids menu. They get a five star review from me because on three separate occasions something was either served to us with wheat (when we asked for gluten free) or we were told they were out of gluten free buns/bread after we placed our order and they have always righted the situation: One time they politely remade our food (and gave us huge portions), another time they remade our food and gave us a gift card for our trouble, and another time they gave us our meal on the house. I used to go to here for the boneless wings. They were the absolute BEST...in fact, the best chicken in town for this caliber of a meal. Then one day I went and ordered what I always had ordered, and they brought me just regular ol' chicken tenders, just like every other place serves. I asked the server about it and was told that they got complaints about the last ones. I was very disappointed and haven't been back since. It would be nice if they kept their old style ones for the people who loved them, and the tenders for people who need those. Love this place! Great location, and the outdoor seating is so unique with the garage style doors! I recently took my mom(I have been several times) we ordered a beer and wings to start...Garlic Parmesan wings are to die for! The wings were brought out to us before our meals which we loved (a lot of places seem to bring the appetizer and meal out together which is odd). Our burgers were excellent and cooked exactly how we requested. -excellent, timely service -great downtown prices -wide variety of beers -delicious food!!! The owner comes out to greet us every time. We would recommend it to everyone looking for wings and a beer or a family get together...we have done both! My boyfriend's favorite dish would be the wings. I was part of a small crowd that decided we all needed to go try this place. Umm, not so fast. I learned that this is yet another place downtown that's overrated and overpriced. The first up side is that there were lots of choices for sauces. The down side to that is that the boneless wings we put all those sauces on were overcooked and dry and as chewy as chicken jerky (so much for any notion of yummy.) Another upside is that we all like music and they had it going full blast from the time you opened the front door. Another down side is that the music they had was full blast so you couldn't hear the person on the stool next to you talking thanks to the mega-monster subwoofer bass speakers booming the house apart (you wonder if the front window glass might not blow out.) The last upside is they had lots of beverage choices. The downside to that is that they were terribly proud of their product options and that was reflected in the hole in my wallet where money used to be. Final call? We figured out that there have to be other watering holes where we can get a basket of chicken wings and still leave with all the limbs we had before we walked in. read more

Solid 3 stars. The food was good, but seriously over priced. I had the wingman wrap (buffalo chicken wrap). It tasted good, not great, good. I got the super spicy sauce on it. That was the really bright spot, but I like spicy food. The size of the wrap was small. The side salad that came with it was equally small. All that for $13.50. Too expensive for this type of food. Heard a lot about the place so was excited to try it. We went on a Saturday afternoon, and at 2:30 in the afternoon the place was busy when we arrived, but were seated promptly by the door. It took quite a while to place our order then even longer for it to arrive which my sandwich did, 5 minutes before my husbands order. I ordered the PLT which is super salty when you could find the pancetta in the sandwich and with the sourdough bread that was toasted to hard. I ate half and no more. The fries were not crisp, as if they had been cooked in oil that was needing to be changed. Finally my husbands wings came. He ordered BBQ and Raspberry Chipolte. I think we got Teriyaki and Parmisan. The waiter must have realized the mistake because in a few minutes, he came over with the correct order. All were boneless and the wings are not dipped in the flavors, but cooked in them to the point of being sugary, on the dry side and to sticky for our taste. We did not try any of the beverages except the water and it was ice cold and refreshing. Our waiter while nice was busy, could not make up for the kitchen staff's mistakes. As much as I would love to support new business in our city, I would say we were one and done here. read more

I had dinner there with my family we all enjoyed our food and the service was excellent. I love their chipotle burger, I eat one just about every time I go there. Their beer selection is extraordinary with 22 different beers on tap and mostly all from the Pacific Northwest. The taps are always rotating so there is always something new to try. Got the ice cream cookie sandwich. Cookie was warm and soft and the chocolate ice cream was amazing. We were a large group of 14 and came in less than an hour before they closed (which can cause unhappy service) but everyone there was wonderful and didn't try and rush us out the door. By fare the best time at the wingman tonight the bartender Tarah was hands down the coolest bartender we have met on our three week trip,hitting different bars and doing reviews on restaurants. We just ordered wings to go. First of all I would say it's pretty expensive: $12.50 or so for 8 wings. The wasabi sauce had no real taste, only a bit sweet, and the maple bacon was not very good either, much too sugary. We had one order of the buffalo #1, and while it was fine, it was not great by any stretch. The wings themselves were fine, but the we can't review the sauces very highly. read more

Second time I've been there. Both times the food was fairly good. Some of the wings with a dry rub the meat was dry, but the ones with a wet sauce the meat was nice and moist. Music was overly loud, so loud that you can't carry on a conversation with the people at your table. We literally had to yell at each other. Waitress (whom I don't remember her name) never once refilled my ice tea. And it wasn't that busy to where she couldn't have. But all in all it was good and I would and will go back. read more
