I have a long history with Wingos. Working in Georgetown I order there several times a week. Lately I was disappointed in the quality of their wings, however once I started asking in the Comments to not to over cook them they have been much better. Overall service from them is great and the food is all pretty good as well. I recommend asking them not to overcook the wings on your order however cause they seem to have a habit of doing this lately. There burgers and sandwichs are also really really good. Got the 6 wings combo, with two flavors, lemon pepper and Parmesan garlic. They were delicious, would have enjoyed more garlic in Parmesan garlic. OMG!! I live in NE DC near Catholic University and I traveled 4.89 miles to Georgetown JUST to get some lemon pepper (all flats) wings from WINGO'S!! I feel like I made a mistake ordering delivery. I didn't take that much of an issue with the fact that it took an hour, but more so the fact that my food was cold and my order was wrong. The wings were cold and dripping in oil, and my seasoned fries turned out to be regular fries that had become cold and soggy. I ordered the chili cheese dogs with fries yesterday. This chili has beans in it. The fries have a crispy outside like it was fried twice. Those were great as well. Wingos is my go to place when I am having a night on the sofa and and need to get it in. There are many options on their menu. Which is great for me as on many occasions I crave all types of food. My favorite treat on the menu are the Woody Dogs. Two jumbo chill dogs with cheese. As I am writing this I am getting a craving for them. Yum. I also enjoy the hash browns, burgers, corn on the cobb. I use the Grubhub delivery service which is fast. Although the place is called Wingos, I have no idea how the wings taste. I have tried quite a few things except that.. Horrible wings and they were cold when they arrived. The order took over an hour and a half to be delivered, and when they did finally arrive the wings were ridiculously small and over cooked. We ordered a party special of 50 wings for a football game. I have ordered from wingos before and the wings were normal and delicious, but the wings this time were half the size,some not even a full wing, and cold. Extremely disappointed in their product, as well as their service. I normally love Wingos but have been having some issues during my past few orders. I always order the seasoned fries (as they are amazing) and the past few times that I have requested them as a part of my meal they have given me the wrong type. Today was the third time in a row that I have received the regular fries instead, and although this may seem like nothing, it is very annoying. The fries ARE half of my order. Sometimes they are the main reason why I order from here. The fact that the people don't seem to pay attention or care about the small details matters. I was so disappointed to open my container tonight, which had Seasoned Fries written on the outside (and on my receipt), to find not only the plain inside, but a much soggier and smaller portion than usual. I probably won't be ordering again as I can never be sure if I will actually be receiving the food that I ordered. UPDATE: I just received a call from Mike, who I believe is the manager of Wingos, and he has given me a credit for my next order in addition to a promise to correct my order if it happens again. Honestly, the fact that he took the time to make a personal call to apologize for the mix-up was really amazing. I like to eat chicken wings straight up. Never tried wingos, found them on yelp, real disappointment. I got the 6 wing special for $12 got medium buffalo sauce. It came with fries, blue cheese, can soda, and like ten ketchup packets.. Waited about 20 minutes. Wings didn't taste very good the sauce was bland and watery. The french fries were on the soggy side. The wings came wrapped in tin foil with tons of sauce on the bottom - it was kinda gross. Breaking the cost down: $1 soda can, $1 for the blue cheese, and $10 for six wings and fries.. Overpriced for low quality wings. All in all I didn't even finish the wings threw the last two in the trash - can't remember the last time I had throw out wings. read more

The burger is hands down the worst I have ever had. I'm not saying that as an exaggeration, frozen microwaved burgers from Costco are better. The wings are alright, nothing special, but they deliver late I recommend being as drunk as you possibly can before ordering food from here, by the time I'm forced to order wingos, it is always due to how late it is and their late deliveries. This a great late night delivery spot. I typically get the fried ravioli and fries, both of which are delicious. Today, I decided to expand my palette and try their desserts. Big mistake. The cheesecake is covered on top and bottom with powdered sugar. Every bite tasted like I was eating a spoonful of sugar. I could only eat three bites. The apple pie was no better. I just got some buffalo wings (medium) and some regular and seasoned fries!! The wings smelled so good I was going to devour them on the drive...but had to wait a stop or 2 till I got home. Ordered here because I found that they delivered to my hotel. I got the mambo wings, garlic parmesan, lemon pepper, and honey bbq. Also an order of seasoned fries and mozzarella sticks. I was not impressed by the wings, the only decent one was the mambo and honey bbq. The fries and cheese sticks were cold by the time I got them. I would have given this place 3 stars if my bf didn't find an extremely long hair in his food. We both work in kitchens and restaurants and it always disappoints us when we get food thats unsanitary. This is a good wings place. Delivery is quick and free. Prices are good. They have a huge menu. They have a lot more than just wings, such as Philly Cheesesteaks, burgers and even funnel cake.
