I recently met the GM, Mark, and he is very kind, professional, and welcoming! He went out of his way to make us feel like valued, loyal patrons and we certainly appreciated his kind gestures! It's easy to see why the staff is so friendly, approachable, and great ambassadors of this establishment, because the GM obviously does a great job of modeling great leadership and great customer service! Oh, the recent remodels are very nice and makes for an even better casual, fun experience while eating wings, sides and having drinks! I would like to see the bar and food tabs combined, though, so patrons don't have to use their credit cards twice in one visit. It was a little confusing on the tipping process for the food order since they now have you pre-pay for your food at the register before you seat yourself. I like paying my tip at the end of my meal, so I can give even a little more if the service is great! Not a big deal, but this didn't quite feel like a smooth process. I love the bar area and high top tables and the bathroom area is brighter and nice and clean! Overall, we love coming to this establishment and would rate it a 5 if it was in my preferred area nearer the direct happenings area and if the bathroom was on the first floor. Lastly, special shoutout for those whom I have met while at the restaurant who have been especially helpful and I know their names: Christian, Dion, and mgr DeShawn. Everyone is very kind but I had opportunity to interact with these employees and it was very pleasant! The wings continue to be consistently large, fried just right, and very good! The drinks are good, too, so I'm told by my fellow patrons when we visit together! I appreciate that they accommodate special orders very well and do it with a smile! The past two times my husband and I have done carry out from this location-the service has been Horrible!!!!! The first visit, someone came out to the car (no mask) and asked for our name. TWENTY MINUTES later, no one came out with our food, so we called and gave them our name....and they couldn't find our order?! No one came back out to tell us what was going on or what the hold up was. We were there on time for a pick up order and ended up with cold food because Someone from their staff couldn't come Back out to ask us some clarification questions. We know COVID has been tough on restaurants, so we wanted to give them another try. Today, my husband calls in for a pick up order. The girl answering the phone had no idea what was happening--didn't know their sauces, kept asking "what??" When we would order something. It was just awful. Do you love ordering take out and paying for food you DON'T receive like I do?! Oakley Buffalo Wings and Rings is your spot then! I will start by saying I guess this is partly my fault as I have given the Oakley Buffalo Wings and Rings too many chances. We consistently order take out by online ordering and just as consistently 1-3 items are completely missing. They will be listed on the ticket, charged, paid for, but not given to us. It doesn't matter if the restaurant is busy, slow, mid-day or evening. It consistently happens. So, tonight after the 10th time of our takeout order being wrong and 2 items missing, but paid for, my husband called so they could refund us the money for the missing items. The managers response was anything but apologetic, instead wanting to make sure "we really looked in the bag" for the items. Nah dude didn't even think of that one! I am aware that restaurants are struggling right now due to the virus going around the country, so I decided to give this place another try. I ordered 40 traditional wings, extra wet. I picked them up and when I got home, I found 40 extra dry wings with a teaspoon of sauce in the bottom of the container. I've been meaning to go here for quite some time since I see it every time I go to the Oakley Kroger or see a movie. To keep it simple, it was okay. The food is nothing special. For place with "wings & rings" in the name, those dishes didn't stand out. The onion rings had a good crunchy breading, but were bland. I ate the boneless wings, which were also bland. The sauce was more butter than buffalo. My boyfriend had the traditional wings and said they were average. I was impressed by the size and quality of the side garden salad. There is also a good variety of salad dressing choices. When we arrived, there was no host/hostess at the front. I'm not sure if it was because it was a slow Sunday night, but it took a while for someone to seat us. Our server was friendly, but the service was a little slow. For a slower night (most of the tables were open) I expected the food to come out much quicker than it did. The atmosphere is what you'd expect of a sports bar, plenty of tvs showing multiple sporting events. If you're looking to watch a game and aren't in a hurry, this wouldn't be the worst option. read more

Let me tell you about this place. I have never had a bad experience here, and this is my go to sports bar for great food and drinks. The staff here is SUPER nice and friendly, and really do a great job even when they're extremely busy. Ordered via Uber Eats on Friday, March 29. Very prompt service but the food quality was inconsistent. My husbands burger was fine. One order of garlic-q wings were meaty and perfectly sauced. My Bello Burger, sans bun, was a 2 inch puck of dried meat with 3 thin slices of portobello. On the side was 3 pickle slices. Nothing more. One order of Cajun dried wings were so dry we could not eat half. I do recommend the upgrade to Parmesan garlic aioli fries. Stopped in after a movie this weekend and I was not impressed. Everything we ordered was cold or lukewarm, and took way too long to get to our table for how empty the place was. Our server Angie was amazing! We had a friend who slipped in the snow and Angie took care of her. Brought ice bag and extra chair. She did an outstanding job. We ended up here late afternoon on Saturday after trying to get into O'Bryons (too packed- but should have stayed there). First off, I agree with the others who have noted that the building faces backwards, just odd. So we find the door and go in, three people- including who we later learned was the GM, just stare at us and continue their conversation / rant. We immediately feel unwelcome and ignored. That ended up being the theme of the afternoon. We ordered drinks and food, our server was missing in action most of the time. The wings are not as good as others in the area and were served in a bowl without any side plates to discard the bones. Once we ate, the server brought our check even though the game we told her we were there to watch was not close to over. Much of the staff appears to be fighting amongst themselves and several reeked of pot after visiting the restrooms multiple times. Ordered online and then went to pick up my order of grilled tenders and some fried tenders. Also ordered a southwest salad ans it was missing the avocado on this salad as advertised. Disappointed with the sloppy placement of my fries with the pamesan garlic ailoi sauce in the carryout container. My order was not ready when I arrived to pick up so I had to wait. The.first woman who came up to the carry out desk seemed upset and could not find my order and I had to repeat the order name many times. She just had a listening problem. The next young man was William who is kind and helpful. The store manager xame up one time in my wait and just told.me my order would be right out and it wasn't the case. This spot is comparable to Buffalo Wild Wings but in my opinion is superior due to the tenderness of the chicken. It feels more clean and open inside, and the to-go service didn't disappoint either. Bagged and ready to go on time with 60 fresh wings. Gotta try the wedge fries on the side! Only improvement could be faster service inside, but this location is very new and crowded. There is no real "to go parking spots" although there is a to-go door which is semi confusing. Overall a great spot to go to with friends on a Sunday to fight the scaries. read more

First and last time at a BWR. The bartender was pretty ok. Ordered a beer and 5 wings. The wings came out with the wrong sauce. Bartender took them from me and dumped them in the trash right in front of me. Could have said, check this sauce out while I get them to make them right. Right in the friggin trash. This place was a pretty run of the mill wing place. They offer about the same type of items you see at BW3's which isn't a surprise. We ordered onion rings for an appetizer which were descent. We order 2 orders of traditional wings part with Bourbon BBQ sauce and the other with Spicy Thai Chili. Between the 2 I liked the Thai Chili the most. The wings were very meaty which isn't always the case and always a big deal at a wing stop. One thing I found interesting is you order what wing sauce you want and you still order the level of heat you want on the wings. We chose medium heat for both. The food is just way better than BW3. The food is actually served on dishes instead of cardboard. The wings are so much meatier than BW3. The staff is super friendly. The greeters were so nice, along with the servers. Everyone had a smile on their face. The manager came by, even when it was crowded, and asked me how everything tasted. "Great!!" Building: Kind of a weird setup. Its facing a larger building away from the movie theater where its an open space so the view is kind of awkward. If feels like your walking down a dark alley. Interior: Very nice open space setup. TV's can be seen from most if not all seating. It didn't feel cramped at all like it did coming in from the outside. Food: The chicken seem over cooked and was kind of chewy. The garlic BBQ sauce was awesome though. The parmesan fries were great. The amount of food you get for what you pay for is a bit disappointing. Service: What service? The waitress met us fairly quickly after my group sat down and took our drink orders. When she brought the drinks she took our food order. One hour and fifteen minutes later it finally arrives. The place wasn't busy at all. She did not stop by once to refill our drinks nor did she inform us on why it was taking so long. Once we receive our order we noticed that my order was wrong and another person in my party didn't get anything. We had to settle for what we received since we were on lunch break and we were already over on time. The manager brought the missing food but was very hesitant to apologize for the error. It really seemed that there was no sense of urgency in the whole place. To be fair with this review, the manager removed my friends and my wings from the tab and took 15% off the other two members of my party. Overall: The cons outweigh the pros in my opinion. It was a horrible experience an I will never return to this Oakley location for any reason. If you in a hurry or on a time restraint, avoid this place at all costs. First off I wanna say, Buffalo Wings & Rings (BWR) needs to be the new standard in the wings, beer, and sports game. Buffalo Wild Wings has long be reigning supreme up until now. I've reviewed a B-Dubs in the past and it was average at best. BWR picks up on B-Dubs' mistakes which goes to show that their management actually cares to even try. This particular location is spacious and welcomes both sports fans and casual diners. 33 TVs playing a different variety of sports, plenty of tables and booth seating, and an appropriately sized bar area. The food is what stuck with me the most. Upon eating, the wings didn't feel dry in my mouth or taste bland and the sauce and dry rubs were perfectly spread across the chicken wings to get the right amount of desired flavor you could want. I've yet to try their other menu items but I'll tell you they look pretty appetizing for a place with wings and rings in their establishment name. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and didn't give off the vibe of "I hate my job" like at B-Dubs. I really need to get out of the habit of comparing BWR with B-Dubs because as I was told from a worker that BWR is trying to establish themselves as its own independent restaurant chain not associated or trying to be a better B-Dubs, and I appreciate that vision. If you want wings, solid service, a beer or two, or a place to watch the game with your pals or family, BWR is the place to be. read more

Went here on super bowl Sunday for the first time. Our bartender was Marci; she was exemplary. Despite how busy they obviously were she was exceedingly attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. The wings were spicy with a good amount of flavor. Angie one of the managers was also a great help, she promptly wiped down the bar top for us to sit and made sure to make us feel welcome. As with most wing-bar like places, the food here is pretty standard. I've never had a bad experience but never been blown away either. Food is very "what you see is what you get," so never been disappointment with quality but never expecting gourmet meals. Staff is usually pretty attentive and quick, although oddly enough the servers seem to be slower when the place is dead (eg mid-week lunchtime) and they're only covering like 1-2 tables. I will say the main reason behind my 3-star rating is the last time I visited this location, we "got on the waitlist" via NoWait (owned by Yelp). When we arrived the hostess told us that they don't allow parties to just reserve online and then show up and get seated because it's unfair to guests who arrive before you. Not sure she understands what NoWait is? I'm sure the "rule" was passed down to her, but not sure why management / ownership would choose to join a third party app if they don't honor it in the restaurant. To add to the somewhat negative experience with the hostess, she seemed less than thrilled to get us a table and slammed each menu down as she seated us. Her attitude to our inquisitiveness about why they use the NoWait app was a real turn off to our dining experience. Nonetheless, this visit won't keep me from ever returning, but likely won't be my first choice given so many other options in the area. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVERRR!!!!!!! me and my co-workers order the Wednesday special for the $1.19 tenders and a buffalo chicken salad for our lunch meeting. we ordered online and set a specific time for pick-up. when our driver went to pick up the order, it wasn't ready an had a 30 min wait. then when the food gets to us we are missing items and food was made incorrectly. we called to get missing items, manager was rude and hung up on us. we called back and instead of fixing the order, they gave us sauce on the side and proceeded to tell us that we are responsible for the missing food due to delivery driver not checking to make sure order was correct. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WILL NOT BE GOING TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!! read more

Love the location and the food at this place, I just didn't have the best experience due to the waiter Eric. The whole time interacting with him he made me felt like I was annoying him. He would roll his eyes when I would ask for extra sauce making it seem like a big inconvenience.
