Initially waited a while for someone to check with us after being seated, and the place wasn't busy. Wings were better than other "larger chain's" wings. Wasn't extremely impressed with the Nashville Hot dry rub, but the wings were cooked perfect. Onion rings were good, but probably came from a bag in the freezer. Have been here a couple times due to other places being crowded. Food is always consistent and good. Andy the bartender is great. Very attentive, helpful and friendly. Love the variety in building my perfect wings when it comes to sauces and amounts. Good place for sports. Can get loud but given the layout, nothing they can do about it. Nothing that would or should keep you away. My only issue is I wish there was a way to delineate bar from restaurant. Not always enjoyable to come in, sit at the bar and having young kids running around behind your chair and banging on the video games. My husband and I stopped in on our way home from Cincinnati one afternoon. There were maybe one or two other tables being used. Service was ok. We were overcharged for my meal. Food was very boring. We have no desire to go back. Probably won't. Didn't notice the overcharge until we were back home in Columbus. They need to pay attention to their lunch specials. We have gone to Buffalo Wings and Rings before and we really liked it, probably our favorite among alternatives like Bdubs or Quaker Steak. This location really didn't do the chain justice, though. There were no real problems up until our entrees arrived. We were seated quickly, got a table outside like we requested, our pretzel bite appetizer was brought out quickly and it was absolutely delicious, and our waiter brought us a pitcher of water, so our drinks never ran dry. But when my husbands and my wings arrived, we were extremely unhappy. We had requested their heat level be "medium" and while both of us enjoy some spice, these wings were drowned in hot sauce to the point of being inedible. Mine were supposed to be sweet BBQ and his were bourbon BBQ and teriyaki. You could not smell or taste any of these flavors over the hot sauce. We really tried to eat them, but eventually decided to send them back. Unfortunately, our waiter was nowhere to be seen. I think we were his only table outside, but sometimes we felt neglected. Whatever. Once we finally got a different waitress to find him for us, he got the problem resolved and was polite and helpful. Only other comment was that there was a bizarre exchange that occurred between a guy bussing the table next to ours and a hostess who came outside long enough to yell at him, "how long does it take to wipe a table?" Very rude and unprofessional. I'd probably test out the beechmont and eastgate locations before coming back to this one, to be honest. read more

They must be improving because we stopped twice this year with a large family and were seated and waiting on very reasonably and attentive. So my friends and I arrive at this location around 10:12pm. The website and door decal state they close at 12am. We were immediately turned away due to the staff deciding to, "close early!" Came in on a Saturday, it was the 2nd week of college football season, but not really busy at all. Waited 40 minutes for our table. Server came over and immediately said that she was going to be too busy with her other tables to focus her attention on ours. That was accurate beacuse we had to ask her if we could order. We we did get our food she did not have 3 of the people in our group's orders correct, but we did not complain. Server did not ask if we needed refills on drinks, we had to ask and she got an attitude for asking. This is a wing place of course we need refills this should not have come as a shocker. So I'm giving this place 4 stars because of the food. It's awesome. Their chicken is hands-down some of the best "sports bar" chicken I've had. Do the boneless wings with the Sweet Thai chili sauce. Their salads are also amazing. (I go greek) The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the spotty service. Sometimes they just don't seem to have enough staff. Either on the floor or in the kitchen. Some days servers are right there. But food takes a WHILE. Other days you wait for a server but apps and food come out almost at the same time. Most days you wait 15 minutes for a beer. If they got that ironed out, they'd be #1 on my list. Far better than that Bdubs place. read more

Went here on a Sunday for a late lunch after Kings Island. We ordered boneless wings, Saratoga chips, and garlic aioli fries. The wings were great and probably double the size of BW3s. I'm not a small guy and I was stuffed after ordering 10 wings. The Saratoga chips were just OK, but the garlic aioli fries were AMAZING! Sooo good! Our server, Emily W. was great. First visit to any Buffalo Wings and Rings location and overall happy with the visit. Restaurant​ was very clean including the bathroom. There are a ton of large, pretty new and nice looking TVs if you're there for a game/event. We were seated quickly and server attentive for MOST of the time. We got there around 6 when it wasn't too crowded but it did fill up fast and that is when service got slow. Once we got our food the server was hard to find until she came by with the check. I did want another beer and others in the party more of their sodas. I don't think it was all her fault as more of a staffing issue. Every table was full at this point but not a lot of servers around. Within our party we had buffalo wings, bacon cheeseburger, buffalo chicken sandwich, and bbq wings. The food really shined for us. Wings were sauced well and nice and meaty. The buffalo chicken sandwich was great. It had 2 large buffalo fingers on a bun with bacon that actually looked like bacon and cooked when sandwich was ordered or close to it, tomato, lettuce, and some more sauce. Hard to mess up a bacon cheeseburger and they didn't. I would go back, which in the world of restaurants is probably the biggest question. Food was 5/5, Service 3/5, value 4/5. read more

We had tried Buffalo Wings & Rings before and we weren't impressed, but we received a gift certificate from someone and decided to use it last night (7/14 dinner). There were really two major issues with the food that will keep us from every returning. 1. The wing menu specifically seems to pride itself on your ability to "custom craft your wings any way you like them. You pick the sauce/flavor, then you customize the heat. I ordered Sweet Thai Chili, at a medium heat. When the wings came out, they smelled AND tasted like 'normal' buffalo wings. I told my server and she offered to get me more Thai Chili sauce. When that same out, it was clearly different that what was on my wings. I tried to dip my now buffalo wings into the Thai Chili sauce, but it was just too much. As we were getting ready to leave, I asked her again... "Just so that I better understand how I should order these next time, why do they taste and smell like buffalo sauce (and the Thai Chili sauce I was brought separately doesn't)? That is when she informed me that the buffalo sauce was added because I wanted it medium heat. What?!?!? If I had wanted it to taste like buffalo sauce, I would have ordered that... remember the menu says "Custom crafted any way you like it". After the second issue (which I'll get to in a minute), I asked to speak with a manager. When the manager came out to address both issues, she informed me that the menu says that all of the heat is buffalo sauce (I checked, it doesn't). To give her a little bit of credit, she did offer to remake me the wings without any buffalo sauce, an offer I gladly would have taken her up on when I first told my server I didn't understand why they tasted like buffalo... but at this point in the process all of our party had finished and half had already left for the car (one of which left because the second issue upset him so much). I tried to explain this, and she seemed to act like if i didn't want to wait for them to make them like how I ordered it, there was nothing she could do. I never asked for a discount... she certainly never offered one... but once I was home I was upset that given both issues, and the fact that she was willing to make me another dish... that she wasn't willing to comp or discount the terrible dish that I barely ate. 2) The second issue is frankly more of a concern. When asking about the sauce dilemma above, our server informed us that whenever you ask for any sauce medium, it then has buffalo sauce added to it. This puzzled us as our other order of wings was ordered with lemon pepper sauce, and was also medium... yet it clearly had no indication of buffalo sauce on it. She then explained that despite showing lemon pepper sauce AND lemon pepper dry rub on the menu... they don't actually have a lemon pepper sauce... and thus they served us the lemon pepper dry rub. Now we are really confused... because their own menu... which I'm sure was written by corporate BW&R, clearly shows that the lemon pepper sauce is Gluten Free and the lemon pepper rub is not gluten free. When we ordered we specifically told the server that we needed the lemon pepper sauce and that the entire order for that parton needed to be gluten free. My son was extremely upset that he was essentially poisoned (he has Celiac disease) so my wife took him to the car while I attempted to get resolution. When the manager came out to talk to us about the issues, she seemed completely unconcerned by this fact and reiterated many times that they confirmed with the Chef that the lemon pepper rub was gluten free. Unfortunately, when your a chain restaurant, if your corporate office can't put a 'Gluten Free' label on the menu (when they do put it on the menu for many other items), then I don't really care that your chef says it's actually gluten free... corporate knows where that rub was sourced from and they obviously don't think that it is. We've encounter plenty of spices, including lemon pepper, that do contain gluten. To make things worse, this manager insisted there was no such thing as a lemon pepper sauce, that it was just lemon dry rub with water and that the menu must be misprinted by corporate regarding the lemon pepper sauce being gluten free. Again, even if this is true, take responsibility for poisoning my family and offer something other than an excuse! So that's 3+ strikes. 1) for acting like adding buffalo sauce is the same thing as adding medium heat. 2) for not delivering the item we specifically asked, nor informing us that a change was being made 3) For acting like this was all my fault or the fault of corporate and only offering me to remake my wings as I was trying to leave the restaurant. 3+) Frankly even if the sauce was right, it wasn't anything I'd crave (like a very similar sauce at BWW that I love). Likewise, even if he hadn't been poisoned, my son said that his wings didn't taste good (again, unlike the GF lemon pepper wings at BWW). So even despite the above, this was a 3*. read more

I only give one star for the food. The food was good and the environment was nice to look at. Although our server, Michelle, was so rude. We went and it took her at least 5-10 minutes to come up and greet our table. When she did come around she was highly unprofessional in the things she would say. She sat with one of her tables and sorted their bills while our app was ready in the window. My boyfriend and I got ours on time because someone else brought them out to us. Our other app had cold pretzels and had a film over the cheese so she said she would have it taken off the bill. She also didn't greet her other table for 20 minutes. One person from our table only got 10 wings when he ordered 15. When we were given the bill she didn't remove the pretzel bites and charged him for 15 wings. He brought this up and she repeated that he didn't tell her and that it wasn't her fault. She got the manager and he fixed it however in front of us she said "im not cashing them out I was very nice and they were rude." which was complete opposite of the case. This is not the first complaint we have with this location. We have had numerous mistakes in the take out. We had talked to one of the mangers there, a woman, and she assured us it would get fixed. So tonight, I order my wings online at 5:58 pm. I try to call for over 20 minutes, 10 tries, to tell them to make sure my order was cooked for 20 minutes. There was no box to write that in online. Hubby goes on to get the wings. By the time he gets there, about 20+ minutes after they have been ordered, she comes out and says they are just now going down and she will make sure they are done for 20 minutes. 30 minutes later, hubby goes in to check and they are sitting there. She didn't even bring them out like she said she would. He asks about my wings. She reluctantly goes back to ask because the wings that are supposed to be mine, are not the way I asked online, well done and all drums. So he has to put them in for another 20 minutes. 1.5 hours later, and the wings are done. Hubby's been gone almost two hours by this point and we live 6 miles away. We put names on the orders and they didn't even mark the wings. We had to figure out whose was whose. They didn't put all the sauce in the bag. Hubby said they were too piled in to take them all out and look. He was setting in his car. I am very disappointed. We keep ordering because the manager there swears she will take care of my order. But she didn't. I don't know that she is still there. This is ridiculous. I'm about to go back to BWs. read more

Before they automatically came with Parmesan Garlic Medium on them, now you can choose whatever sauce you would like on them so if we don't see a sauce selection we make them plain" - Which is very false, it still states "hand-breaded cauliflower, fried and drizzled in our signature Roasted Garlic Medium sauce and dusted with Parmesan cheese. The only options available were to add celery (which I only got 4 sticks) + ranch, etc. I double checked this before giving my first review, and again after the comment from the owner. The guys in the booth get up and walk in the kitchen, seeing me at bar but acknowledging me. Five more minutes and nothing. Apparently the manager (I assume) and his employee figured their meeting and whatever was going on in the kitchen where more important than taking care of patrons.
