When I saw the "Opening Soon" sign go up with Buffalo Wing as part of the name, I was SO excited as I work nearby and wings are always one of my all time favorite meals. First day they opened, I was there. Service was slow, but it was the first day so I understood. Follow-up visits were always better. As much a I want to love this place, I just can't. The flavors and presentation are just fine, but the value isn't there. The lunch express gives you only 5 wings at the same price other franchises give you 8 or 10? You better be twice as good as others to pull this off, and they aren't. I gave them several chances, but during the long walk back to the car (they only have a few store front parking spaces, all others are across the road) I had that hollow feeling that I paid far more than I should have for half the value. Some of the best boneless wings/tenders in town... and wings and I go back. I have been here over 25 times. I honestly can't think of a scenario where I would choose BWW over this place. Since the first time I went, every server I have had has been "good"(at least). The Tuesday wing special and Wednesday tender special will have you STUFFED for under $10. Lots of TV's and I have even asked them to change one to show a game they didn't have on(that's another important test). They have some local beers on tap(which is great for a chain). Makes Buffalo Wild Wings look like rookies. Shared several things at our table. Onion rings were outstanding, Potato wedges were awesome but didn't come with the meal, they were extra. This place is off the charts good!! I was driving around and saw it when I was passing by and I actually turned around to eat here. And when I got inside and ordered, it did not disappoint. The wings are spectacular especially the boneless ones and to accompany the food I also purchased a blueberry lemonade which I highly recommend. They are definitely miles above quality and value compare to the other big wild wing guys. They serve generous portions and have nice customizable sauces. You can get whatever sauce in whichever heat level similar to a thai dish. The nights they have specials are definitely worth the trip, it feels like stealing you get so much food. read more

Huge disappointment. We have been a long time customer and the food has always been great. We ordered take-out. We ordered extra wet (extra sauce) because it seems that they don't put much sauce on now unless you request it. If I wanted dry wings I would go to KFC. We got home and the sauce was everywhere inside of the bag even though we drove carefully. All of the wings were the same and we all ordered different types of flavors. I ordered garlic Parmesan and there was no difference from Buffalo. We ordered a large FF and it looked like a small. They were also as crispy as croutons. I don't know if our mistake was take out because you don't realize your order is wrong til you get home. We called to speak to a manager and were on hold for 10 minutes when we decided to go back to the restaurant to speak in person. All we heard from all employees including the manager was how busy they were and how there aren't enough workers. I understand restaurants are short handed right now but you could at least get the order correct. The only thing that could be done to correct our order (according to the manager) was make it again. No refund or coupon. Nothing. I will not be returning. You messed up. Keep this type of quality up and you will be out of business soon. read more

If it is a day of the week, I'm in Buffalo Wings & Rings these days. I find the wing sauce enjoyable. The review claiming the sauce did not have much flavor doesnt know how the sauces work at the restaurant. Not only does the sauce have a flavor, but it has a heat level as well. The restaurant makes its blue cheese dip by hand, and offers great gyros in addition to the wings and rings. However, the best item on the menu is the bacon, mac and cheese dish. I almost always order this with my wings or gyro. I have had ever sauce, and like all of them, though I'm partial to the buffalo, cajun, and thai chili - eat the thai chili on grilled, not breaded, for a great taste experience. All of the servers and managers are friendly. The bar area is usually free seating, while the sit down tables are rotated. The restaurant has a small party area, which I've booked before, for groups of up to 25 to 30. Thursday night, during football season, KFAB, our local radio station, broadcasts a remote from the bar, bringing in a lot of Nebraska fans. The only drawback to the restaurant is they do not show PPV events on weekends. read more

Food here is always great; personally I love the boneless wings with garlic Parmesan sauce. Tonight however we were pleasantly surprised by our server Brett. He was VERY detail orientated to our minimal time we had to go out to dinner tonight (we had swimming lessons to attend). Upon his first arrival he took our entire order, and followed through on all our requests! As soon as dinner hit the table he had our check, our pinpoint discount applied, all sides of sauce, and additional napkins. The only thing he could have done better was bring out our to-go boxes before we asked for them, but all in all we would definitely recommend both the chicken and the service here! I love the Sweet BBQ mild boneless wings here. Absolutely delicious. They are HUGE , chunks of all white chicken breast, and swimming in sauce. If you are not a huge sauce fan, definitely ask them to hold back, because they come drenched. As far as the Rings part of the name, I'm not too impressed. Get the cajun fries instead. read more

Very rude manager. Our order was wrong so my husband called to let them know. The manager Sean was rude and unapologetic. He told my husband thhat he coUld bring it back it was only a 15-20 minute drive and that the order was rightt it was the receipt was wrong. My husband hung up then called back to get the district managers name and number because he was so rude. This Sean said he was it the one wHos in charge of everYthing. Never again will I go back. There are numerous restaurants in Omaha by which to choose that have a similar atmosphere to Buffalo Wings & Rings. I'm not a sports fan, so I generally overlook the availability of many flat screens to watch whatever sport floats your boat. This place does have many of them, by the way. I have found myself patronizing BW & R several times for solo lunches, as I like that they offer a regular weekday lunch "express" menu that is reasonably priced and reasonably good (for a sports bar). I have ordered all of their variations of chicken (traditional wings, boneless wings, chicken tenders), but usually stick to the "original"/"medium" sauce/heat combination. I like a buttery/tangy sauce more than spicy. I did try their lemon pepper sauce once, but it wasn't for me. Their fried pickles and onion rings are excellent and highly-recommended appetizers. They also serve a gyro on their lunch menu that is pretty tasty for a non-Greek restaurant. Their service is very good. I usually sit in the bar area when I dine solo, and the service there is fast and friendly. I am usually served by "Phil" when I go there for lunch. Overall, this is a good place to eat. I could do without all the TVs on sports channels, but I am part of the minority in this town in that regard. On that note, the overall noise level is pretty minimal, at least during weekday lunch. The wings were good but not great. They overdo it on sauce to the point of having a pool of watery sauce at the bottom of your basket. I just like a thicker sauce. I had a black and blue burger there that I'll put up against any I have had in my life. I'd go back just for that. Every time I dine with Buffalo Wings & Rings, it never disappoints! This restaurant is such a chill place to watch the game with your friends, while enjoying some beers and bar food. I always eat the pretzel bites with the delicious cheese sauce, I highly recommend this tasty treat I haven't ventured off to try other appetizer choices, the pretzels are just too good to pass up! Great food, HUGE portions, great price! Atmosphere was great, not as noisy as its competitors. I was very relaxed and comfortable the entire time. Service was great but they were really busy when I went so service was also a bit slow which is only to be expected and our waitress was not frazzled and handled the rush very well never forgot anything and still managed to make sure we had everything we needed including drink and appetizer recommendations! The food was fantastic and had great flavor, my boyfriend and I had a ten piece garlic medium boneless wings and a bacon cheese burger then we split both between us and still had a large to-go box full of food. Friendly staff, great food and great specials for Happy Hour. The wings are good size and very tasty- my favorite are the garlic parmesan, while my husband likes the bourbon BBQ. We have tried several things on the menu- gyros, burgers, nachos, wings, quesadillas and salads. Don't care for the tortillas used, no other option to change to. Love the salads especially the Southwest chicken - the salads are huge!! Wish they would serve half portions of all of their salads as they do the Greek, Caesar and side salad. About the only thing not on their menu is pizza- which would be good! We visit here 3 or 4 times a month or more, so enjoy this restaurant because of the staff, from the hostess on up. We've been here quite a bit and its usually good but never outstanding. This last time was rather disappointing. We ordered the buffalo chicken nachos. They didn't put much cheese on, which is unfortunate, but there was a generous amount of all the other toppings so it should have been fine. Why wasn't it fine? They were COLD. Cold chicken. Cold queso. How does that happen? We also ordered wings. One kind was generously sauced with good chicken, the other had less sauce and chicken was really dry. (Sidenote: if you want some heat you should order them atomic, the Xtra hot seems pretty mild) The day we stopped in happened to be Super Hero day and they had a "special" drinks menu featuring their regular drinks with super hero names. I ordered one thinking it was a special but when we got the bill there was nothing special about the price. Lastly, we asked to scan for pinpoint when our server informed us that they were no longer participating as of April 30th. This was April 28th. Sure would have been nice to have some sort of email or notification beforehand so we didn't have to lose out on all our points we had already accrued (90 on my account and 60 on my husbands) They do have a new rewards program but the points do not accrue on drinks. I decided to go here for dinner tonight and it was my first time trying this restaurant and probably will be my last. The restaurant has a poor selection of food and the drinks are a little pricier than other places you could go to for wings and drinks like Buffalo Wild Wings or Old Chicago. I ordered the Buffalo wings and the Parmesan garlic wings which were not all that good. The service was mediocre too.
