Our server was named Rhonda and she was literally the sweetest and was on top of everything . I'm currently pregnant and she made sure I had everything including my chocolate milk which might I add was the best chocolate milk I've had in a while. It's taken over 38 years for me to have my first Waffle House experience and I'm wondering why I waited so long. We don't have Waffle Houses near our home, but we always see them while we travel and talk about trying one and never had until we stopped at this location in Bellefontaine, OH. I'm so glad we did!! We had the greatest servers! No joke. One of the girls was super sweet and just totally made our morning. We sat at the counter and she joked we were in the "spray zone" since they rinse dishes right there. She just chatted with us the whole time and made us feel so welcomed. The coffee was good. My husband is picky and he was satisfied with their brew just to add to the Waffle House joy. Can I just tell you how much I enjoyed my limited time blueberry waffle? It was surprisingly good! Cooked perfectly and so tasty! The bacon was cooked just right although it was just average quality. I liked my hash browns with onions too. They serve hash browns a bunch of different ways and have all different slang which is as really cute. He liked his waffle but put too much syrup on it and it got mushy on him. His sausage was nothing to write home about. If you haven't tried a Waffle House yet, make this one your first stop! read more

We stopped in around noon with our granddaughter and the place was really busy. We ordered our food and it arrived liter within 10 minutes. The food was excellent and we had a great waitress. She was polite and attentive and saw that we had everything we needed. I would recommend this Waffle House without a doubt. read more

When we first walked in it seemed like all the staff except for maybe 2 were on something, we maybe thought we were just overthinking it, and that maybe they were just tired because it was 4am. It didn't take long for the server to take our order and get our drinks. Then as we sat there waiting for our food we 100% think that there was a drug deal going on. This man came in, sat down at the counter for a few minutes, handed the woman cook something, then he left. We also noticed the man cooking our waffles kept coughing. Then he walked to the back for like 5 minutes and came back and stared at the wall for a little while. He seemed fine for a bit, but then he started coughing again. Everything was fine after that, but as I was about to take a sip of my chocolate milk I noticed something in the glass. It kind of looked like skin... I've never been so disgusted. I went last week for the first time since I think February. The waitress was super sweet, I went during third shift hours. It was an older lady all alone in there and then a man that was the cook. It was just the two of them but they handled the night with such ease. The restaurant was very clean and they got my order right completely. read more

Okay, all I had was a cup of coffee, but that food the grill cook was making looked and smelled delicious. Wish I were hungrier to order some scrambled eggs! My companion got chili to go and really liked it. But the service was a bizarre! It took so long to just get the check! For crying out loud, it was just a cup of coffee! $2.74 What on earth took so long to pullout a cup and fill it, then write out the receipt - yes they actually have a little pad and write out the checks. This is one of the cleanest waffle houses that my wife and I have been in. The staff is friendly and the food is very good. We complimented the staff on how clean the place was and they said that they still get low ratings when "the big boys " come in. Not sure what they are looking for, but when you get most reviews raving staff, food and cleanness they must be doing everything right. I had to write a review. My granddaughter had a cheer competition in Bellefontaine, we had a hour and a half to spare so we went to The Waffle House since we seen it on the way in the town... The moment we walked in, we was welcomed by the staff.. The waitress was so friendly and efficient. Our food was out in 5min after ordered.. The food was great.. We will go back next year for sure... My kids and I were looking for breakfast on the way to a softball tournament. The service was very good, they were nice, kind and on the ball when came to good service. They were exceptionally quick with getting to food to table and making sure we had all everything we needed, like keeping our glasses full of water.
