We met Jamie at our venue's vendor expo and were immediately impressed by their services, pricing, and vast food offerings. It was a no brainer to book with their group! We had our tasting a couple months before our wedding day; which is complimentary to the couple and a $50 charge for any additional guest to join. They have you select 8-10 appetizers, 2 salads, and 4 entrees to taste at their Naperville location. They also have displays of china, silverware, glasses and more to help couples select what aligns aesthetically for their special day. Jamie worked with us to make small modifications to their standard offerings to make the food exactly what we wanted! Our wedding day came and we were floored by the quality/presentation of food, level of detail in place settings, and service from all staff members. We had multiple guests say that this was some of the best wedding food they've had, steaks were not over cooked, and food tasted fresh. Jamie also let us add desserts a week out to reallocate money from a couple of guests who last minute were unable to attend. Their team was even nice enough to service items not purchased through their group: disposables for the late night snack, display and refilling of cupcakes, etc. Overall, their group went above and beyond for us under Jamie's leadership. Our tables looked great, our food was wonderful, and their team was fabulous. We truly appreciate all they've done for us and could not recommend them more! The restaurant is pretty small, but they packed a lot of seating into this old Subway. The booths can easily fit a group of 6, while the tables can be pushed together to seat more. I had dinner here with two of my friends, and we all enjoyed our meals! We shared these yummy little horchata balls, and I had a vegetarian burrito (solid size!). I also had two, don't judge haha, classic margaritas. I wouldn't typically order a classic margarita, as I don't do overly sweet or syrupy drinks, but these were really light and yummy!! The Ay Cabron! hot sauce was SO good with my burrito, and had a nice tingle while still providing flavor. Chef Rob was just fine with this. He is friendly and passionate about his work; it was fun to chat and hear about how he transitioned from the corporate world to his own catering biz. Our menu featured Caesar salad, roasted vegetables, grilled boneless chicken thighs, couscous, and homemade frozen custard with lemon crumbles. For the non-cheese eaters in our group, Rob prepared a separate salad with olive oil vinaigrette. The chicken and veggies were very tasty, seasoned with nothing more exotic than salt, pepper and dehydrated garlic. There were practically no leftovers. The custard was richer and more velvety than Culver's. The only dud was the bland and mushy couscous. Before the meal was over, we were already contemplating a future event with Rob.

Rob was excellent to work with, extremely communicative, responsive and flexible in designing a custom menu including Kalua Pork, Shoyu Chicken with Rice, Pineapple and Meatball Skewers, Pineapple and Tofu Skewers, Hawaiian Coleslaw, Macaroni Salad, Hawaiian Rolls, and a beautiful Fruit Tree including pineapple, watermelon, grapes, melon. Rob and his team of two others arrived an hour before the event started to get everything set up well. The food was delicious, and the guests were raving about the variety and flavors. It seems like Rob has a great range as a chef and is especially accommodating of any dietary restrictions or preferences; in fact, we asked him to work around some specific unique food sensitivities for our event and he did a wonderful job navigating that. The pricing was very reasonable for such high quality, and I can't recommend Babito's Bites enough based on the incredible food and phenomenal service we experienced at our event.

I had to arrange all this from out of town being away unexpectedly for a month until literally the night before my event and had no worries whatsoever. We just held it last weekend and it was a smash. Mitchie and Wan were so accessible and had great suggestions for the menu within my budget, for timing and with all details. Raphael and Isidoro, who were on site the whole event, were fantastic from set up to tear down, keeping things full and fresh, including presentation with tablecloths and flowers on the buffet, and even helping to wrap things and relocate food indoors when the rain started later. We had many, many compliments on the quality and flavor of the food from the main courses to the potato salad and corn sides, cookies and even the trimmings--cherry tomatoes so sweet, pepperoncinis with right bite, and, oh, the pork!
