5/22/26 Eh, idk. I ordered online for lunch/dinner -- a small personal cheese and pepperoni pizza. First off, they charged $1.60 for the extra topping, which was pepperoni, and I think I counted maybe six pieces on the whole pizza. A little light for the upcharge. Walking in though, the place was clean, small, but efficient. They had pizza by the slice, fresh pies coming out of the oven, and a pretty big menu with lots of options. While waiting for my personal pizza, I looked over and saw a rotating display full of fresh slices -- sausage, specialty pizzas, etc. I ended up grabbing an Italian beef slice with sweet and hot peppers after another customer told me it was really good. Threw in an RC Cola and a side of ranch too. Total came out to around $16. Got back to work and started with the Italian beef slice. It was cold, which I won't knock too hard because who knows how long it had been sitting there. I was told it was spicy, but honestly not really. You could tell by the way the slice fell apart while eating it that it had probably been sitting for a bit. As for the personal pizza, it was cheesy, decent amount of pepperoni, and not overloaded with sauce, which I liked. But overall... it just lacked flavor. I can't fully put my finger on it, but it feels like it's missing something. Maybe seasoning? Salt? Not sure. That said, service was good, prices weren't terrible, and I do like the concept. Cheap, quick, fast lunch spot. I'd probably give it another try. read more

They are still rocking it here. $4.00 for a slice of sausage deep dish! Are you kidding. If you pay with cash it's exactly $4, but add a few cents for using a card. The line moves fast, the pizza is good and hot, the price is right. What else can you ask for? 1 slice is good for an average eater and even a big eater like me would think twice about ordering a second slice. read more

It's Christmas and we had to change our dinner plans last minute so we ordered some pizza from Pizanoz through a delivery app. The stuffed crust pizza is so good! It's very thick and heavy and our family could only get through just over half of a pizza. We also ordered a few sides like fried mozzarella sticks, fried ravioli, fried zucchini, fried calamari, and fries. (That's a lot of fried food after typing that out, lol.) Everything was good but did taste similar so prob recommend just choosing just a couple side items next time. read more

This place has the BEST pizza. The thick crust is really good and the single slices is great to stop by at lunch hour for work. The inside is really small with very little seating. A 3.5 stars kind of place. I ordered pizza to go. One thin crust with pepperoncini peppers and mushrooms and a super stuffed pizza with sausage and green peppers. The texture for both the pizzas was good but it lacked good flavor. The pizza sauce had a hint of sweetness but lacked salt. It's overall flavor was just so so. I also took couple of (NY style) single slices to go and they were okay. I asked for a cheese and a pepperoni but got sausage instead. I didn't check when I was given the slices that a wrong slice was given because I was taking photos for yelping purposes. When I called to place my order, the person who answered my call couldn't understand some of the toppings I was trying to order and gave me a bit of an attitude. I asked for Italian sausage as listed in their online menu and I was told they only had Italian Beef, Sausage, Pepperoni and something else but not Italian sausage. So, fine, give me regular sausage then. When asked for pepperoncini peppers, I was asked what was that and they had to check on it. Maybe my pronunciation was off but it was the kind of attitude I was given that would turn people off. Overall, this place has a good menu and nice pizza variety but the pizza lacks good taste. Yes, they are good for grabbing slices as they are available throughout the day but to me, they are just okay in taste. Nothing special. Therefore, 3.5 stars from me for this Pizanoz. By the way, this Pizanoz does not seem to be affiliated with the well known Pizanoz Pizzeria whose owner is related to Lou Malnati's. read more

Not really a hand tossed but a little thicker than a thin crust. The pizza had plenty of toppings and was hot even with the 10min car ride back to the office. Sauce is missing something. The crust was crispy and held the ingredients well. read more

Finally got around to trying this place out. There are so many good pizza shops in Arlington Heights/Buffalo Grove area! We ended up ordering three thin pizzas (Cheese, Pepperoni, Veggie) for a small birthday party get together. Ordered during peak time for an advance pick up order. They were able to accommodate within ~30 minutes of the order time. The pizza was great in my opinion. And it went over well with our guests. Quality ingredients and the cheese tasted great. The dough was good, but I don't recall it standing out. If you are looking to order out, I don't think you could go wrong here. read more

Is there anything better than pizza on a Friday night? We tried this pizza place, we had never had it before. The delivery was fairly quick. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, with double dough. Okay, I've lived down the street from Pizanoz for like, a million years. I know that the owners changed a while ago and sadly, the pizza changed too. The pizza at Pizanoz now is not the absolute best I've ever had, but I'm not going to lie... having a pizza place that stays open until like 2 am is a godsend when you're older and you work late or you're coming home from a concert or whatever. Is the pizza the absolute best? No. Is it a good, reliable slice? Yeah. Sometimes their slices are just right and sometimes they're a little... not great. It's touch and go. Hole in the wall next to Weiner take all. Very good pizza flavor and cook were perfect. Service was very quick (10 minutes even though we didn't pre order) and food was great quality. Alfredo was good but not great flavor, cooked to perfection though and the grilled chicken gave it that extra oomph it needed. Very impressed and will likely be back sooner than later. Pizza is ok, better than other locations. The dough is so soft very minimal chewiness. The bottom from all the cheese that's in it has got a good crunch to. So, when you bite into it you're all soft gooey cheese pepperoni flavor and then he hit the crunch and it's just the best ever. Impeccably great cheese that I'd rate as 5-star taste! Good pizza. Very nice people. I have not ever had a bad pizza either. I'm not comparing this to a restaurant fancy pizza place. This is just the best pizza to take home. I even ate the crust! I'm not a big pizza type of gal, but when your child has been picky all day and you want him to have a good meal, you order pizza! I was driving home and this place is 4 mins from the house so I placed my order while sitting in the car. I asked if they were able to bring it out since my son was in the car and they had no problem doing so! The pizza was pretty good believe it or not. The crust was a perfect kind of thin with the right amount of toppings. I wish it had a smudge less oil. I have to admit I had to dab off the entire pizza before allowing anyone to consume it. OK...this is totally NOT Chicago pizza, this is just like what you find in NYC! My husbands' work...Flextronics.... orders from them all the time and once in awhile, my son happens to be in the office when they do...therefore...he craves this pizza all the time. Yesterday he BEGGED me to go buy him this pizza na duo I did...and MAN! it was gone in less then 20 min. Between his two other siblings they devoured it and left me with a few slices to taste, and I agree, it was amazing! First of all, we are not from Chicago, so NYC pizza is our favorite style (we are from the east coast) so that was a sure winner with us. The cheese just is the right amount and it is melted to perfection. The crust is a great yumminess but since not everyone likes crust, this pizza is cut into squares and so not so many left overs crusts in the house! We got a plain cheese XL and it was 21 bucks. Not bad for the prices we have seen. The staff was pleasant when we ordered and smiling etc. It was fast, done in 15 minutes so couldn't complain about that! We will be back to try different flavors of pizza but all in all, it was awesome! My kids are already begging for another slice! Good job guys! read more
