So anyways, we started the night off with two apps.. Spinach and Artichoke Dip: My bestie highly recommended this app and her palate was most spot-on with this one. Creamy as hell with large Artichokes throughout. And the homemade chips add a much appreciated rustic touch to the whole thing. Though, I do wish there were an option to add a protein like shrimp or even lobster meat or something. 9 out of 10, would recommend! Steak Tartare: What's the best way to put this? I think....misleading sums it up. I'd even go as far to say this felt like a fake tartare. For one thing, it didn't even look the right color. And that's likely because it was doused in some kind of dressing that gave the whole thing an unusual taste. Now, we've had our fair share of tartare apps in the past; the carpaccio from Proper Chophouse at the Nash Casino being among the best. But this one had a strange flavor with a bizarre, chewy texture that just didn't sit right with us. Not only was the beef unrefined, it was also underseasoned. Needless to say, we ended up sending this one back after only one bite each and swapped it out for the artichoke dip. 1 out of 10, this one just didn't work. Onto the mains.. Shepherd's Pie: From what I gather, the wifey was quite pleased with this one. She just needed to add her copious amounts of salt as she does because she's the salt queen. After which, she thoroughly enjoyed it. We also appreciate the fact this is a REAL Shepherd's Pie and not merely cosplaying as many other restaurants do by making theirs with beef. Nay. Nothing but lamb in this legit dish. Grilled Pork Chop: Okay. I need to start this out by stating how elated I was to finally try a properly cooked pork chop in a restaurant. So, a little background story - growing up in the 80s, I was fooled into believing pork chop was simply something I pretended to enjoy, since it was always a thin cut, overcooked, dry as hell slab of anemically seasoned pork. Ch'yeah...my uncle really cooked like a donkey sometimes. Anywho, fast forward to 2026 and I'm presented with this gorgeous cut of freshly grilled pork. Right away, I can tell that it is WELL seasoned! A lot. Like...salty. VERY salty. Salty like the sea. Chat, the pork was overseasoned. And I can't even believe I'm saying that! But allow me to elaborate. It wasn't overseasoned to the point of being inedible. But JUST over the mark. And I've NEVER had that happen in a restaurant setting before. Usually, you'll hear me complain about food being quite the reverse. This is so rare, in fact, that I initially had a tough time admitting it to myself. After bite number 7 or 8, I thought, "Wow! This is the saltiest piece of meat I've ever tasted inside restaurant walls!" The insides of my mouth felt drier than Pakistan. I felt as if the Special Forces were about to start conducting maneuvers inside my mouth-hole imminently. But, I digress. This one was OKAY, but I don't think I'd get it again. 7 out 10, not sure if they'll take requests for reduced sodium, but....be sure to drink a tall glass of water with this one. Side note on the potato salad: it was good. Not quite as good as the one I make at home. Though, I can appreciate the fact they use Yukon Gold potatoes, same as me. This one was served warm, however; possibly due to the hot pork chop sitting atop of it. All things considered, we would certainly return. The vibe is contemporary, as is its decorum. And wouldn't you know it? They actually have tap-to-pay courtesy of their mobile POS systems! That was an unexpected, considering normally only casual chain dine-in restaurants have that sort of thing. Next time around, I'd be willing to try a burger or even the fish n' chips, if the mood so fits. Taking into account their potential, aside from their one-off faux pas, I'm gonna give Grafton Street 4 savory pork chops hot off the grill out of 5.

I am a student at MIT, soon to be graduating, so I've been order from Wings Over Somerville since four years ago, when I first got here. And for years, I loved it. I loved the food, the service, and even ordered from them for parties and school events. That said, in the last several months, the place has gone from a 5-star for me to 2-star. I would've given it 1, if not for fond former memories. I wonder if management has changed, or perhaps new employees, because compared to before the service is horrible. The delivery is consistently late, and more importantly, the drivers are incredibly rude. They will refuse to leave their car and come to the door, even if they are asked to do so, and will act annoyed as if they are doing us a huge favor when they do. What am I paying a tip and delivery fee for if the driver doesn't DELIVER my food to me? It's not like I'm asking for them to come to my room on a silver platter, just come to the damn front door. Additionally, more and more frequently, my order is messed up. Wrong sauces or missing ingredients. Sometimes, an entire drink or side is missing, and worse, when I call in, they will claim that every part was delivered. Now, I understand, sometimes customers lie, but that's what customer service is about. Some lowly people will rip you off now and then, but why piss off all of your honest, paying customers? Lastly, the worst thing is, the food itself has gone south. It's just not as good. The chicken has been soggy and drippy, and the fries are worse, and not crispy anymore. The seasoning is sparse on the fries now, and when I pay extra for cheese fries, I expect more than tablespoon on top. Perhaps related to the late deliveries mentioned above, the food is often cold now too when it arrives. I don't know what has happened over there, or if there are financial considerations, but losing your long-time customers is not the way to proceed. Without service OR great food, I cannot recommend this restaurant at all anymore. I may be graduating soon and leaving anyway, but Wings lost me as a customer not because of that but because it is not the restaurant it once was. Get it if you are really craving wings and have no other options, but I will not patronize a place that does not respect its customers or treat them well. read more

I decided that I would try wings over Somerville to see what everyone was telling me about. My friends all said that it was great, and so I gave it a try. Not worth it. It took them an hour and a half for delivery, though they promised a half hour when I had asked. When it got there, my wife and I dug in with great anticipation, and were highly disappointed. It's not too bad, but the meat was dry, and they were covering it up by dousing it in butter, which left it overly greasy and off-flavored. The only reason that I'm giving this place 2 stars is because it wasn't as bad as some of the worst chicken that I've had in a while. But if you guys want good chicken, try something like s&i thai in Allston. Now that's good chicken. So I've definitely had better, and I really don't think it's worth it whatsoever. read more

This absolutely horrid woman that answered the phone made me feel disgraced to be alive. First of all, I'm extremely angry that I couldn't understand her because she didn't even speak english. Second of all, she was extremely rude and had zero respect for the customer. She did not care about trying to help us give us what we want or delivering an absolute mediocre standard. I wouldn't expect much from such a shitty place like this, but this fucking Indian cunt absolutely ruined my night. I highly doubt her career would advance any further than it already has. If you're looking for fast, tasty and cheap wings, this is the place. Open till very late, nice staff and good sauces (although be careful with the really spicy one - afterburner is real, real hot). My favorite flavors are garlic parmesan and afterburner. The Cajun rub is also great. read more

This was extremely confusing, as I had just been told moments earlier that the issue would be resolved. I am very disappointed with the customer service I received. Update: After posting this review, I was contacted and pressured to remove it, which further added to the discomfort and confusion surrounding this experience. I ended up passing on the partial refund to put an end to the back and forth with management.

I ordered a beef sandwich not knowing what to expect, but what arrived was pure deliciousness - thinly shaved beef piled high with bbq sauce and mayo and it's just as messy and sloppy as it sounds. It's like an Arby's sandwich without the horsey sauce but all grown up. Fries are extra and an order could feed a family. No booze so I had a soda instead. Would gladly come back here again for another sandwich.
