These are some of the worst wings I have ever had. The employees don't care as you can obviously smell they are burnt initially. Dried meat which is hard to do when you put them in a deep fryer. I'd say anchor bar wings were the worst until I had theses. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

The reason for the two-star rating is because there was a customer who kept coming in and out of the establishment without a mask on and nothing was said to him by the Management of Wings Over Syracuse. Additionally, two out of the three employees who were at the front counter had their masks pulled down under their noses at the time of my order pick-up. Boneless wings with choice of great sauces (mix and match). Skip the fries. Good for OMG-I'm-so-hungry late night and cheap eats. Curt service on the phone. A funny note: one time I ordered food and found out they were located downtown in Hanover Square for the summer. I'm usually love WingsOver but I am very disappointed in my order today. I placed an order to be delivered in advance by 8:30 and I didn't get my food until almost an hour later at 9:20. After my food arrived late and Luke warm it was also the wrong flavor. I called back to try and fix this and they said that they can get the correct order out to me in another hour! I literally eat here all the time because there is no good fast food in Syracuse. They are always super fast and get everything right! The buffalo chicken wrap is BOMB and the cheese fries always crush it. read more

I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and its just a pizza with cheese no sauce and cut up chicken no buffalo sauce nothing. So dry and plain. Its just a chicken pizza. read more

They lose a star for increasing delivery charge to $4.50!!! Most of their customers are cash strapped students, many without the option to 'pick up'. Highest delivery charge of any restaurant on GrubHub that we frequent. Wings are great tho. read more

Late night? Out drinking? No intention of going home or sleeping anytime soon? Wings Over is probably the most reliable late night food around the SU area. I've heard that they use chicken meat from Sal's Birdland, which is good stuff. The prices are fair. They rival that Tully's range of pricing. Their large menu of flavors, which are comprised of dry and wet rubs, are diverse enough to satisfy a large amount of people. Blackened Cajun and garlic parmesan are among my favorites. As usual, the more you order, the cheaper, but not by much. And I hate to include this, but I thought this might come in handy: They taste great even when reheated in a toaster oven or conventional oven the next day. read more

Usually there's only scraps left for the volunteers, but this time the Chancellor's office messed up; students can't be in 2 places at once. Wings Over Syracuse was wonderful to us. Since I wrote my last review 6 months ago, I have seen very noticeable improvement with the Customer Service at Wings. They have become increasingly more positive, upbeat and professional and I feel like my business matters. A sincere "Good Job" to whoever started this turnaround. Worst experience ever. I ordered my wings at about 11:20pm and the store closes at 12:45am with anticipation that it was going to come, the food never came. I called to see where the order is and the lady stated that it would come in 15 minutes, like I said before it never came. This is an ongoing issue that I have with this store. read more

The service was fast and affordable. The sauces are more on the spicy side but boneless chicken was fresh and not processed.

I waited by the door forever, but the delivery guy didn't even stop by because I couldn't pick up when he called. I think I have ordered from Wings Over more than 20 times in the last 6 months and haven't had a single bad experience. The food is always fresh and the portions are huge! I almost always get one of the boneless combos (Hand Glider or Hangar1) and my favorite sauces are honey mustard, kickin' bbq and wimpy buffalo. Somehow their buffalo sauces are all very hot. I tried one of their dry rubs once (i think it was mustang ranch) but was not very impressed. Delivery is always on time. I recommend eating the wings desi-style with roti, toasted bread or burrito. A Hangar1 will easily last you 2 meals. In terms of dipping sauces, I recommend the ranch over the blue cheese. read more

Ordered at 8:44pm and my wings were delivered piping hot at 8:53pm! Couldn't believe the fast delivery and the fries were still crunchy. I hate soggy fries. The staff is very understanding and accommodating even after late night drunk order mishaps. read more

The first time I went there, they forgot to put sauce on my to go wings. Went back two years later, the person at the counter didn't know the menu and told me to come back later when the regular cashier comes in. An hour later I ordered Jet Fuel wings, because they were out of their hottest sauce. They were soggy and out of 10 wings, only one drum stick. Flavor was fair at best. Encouraged by the reviews I saw on AllMenus, I called Wings to make an order, but was really put off by the person who answered the phone. The conversation was brief.. and terse. She answered the phone.. Wings pick up or delivery.., no greeting whatever. I told her delivery and tried to confirm that they delivered to my area ...she responded yes, and said what can I do for you... this is where I got turned off.... Before I could provide my full address so she would not make the same mistake many other delivery guys have made, she abruptly cut me off and raised her voice in repeating what can I do for you... I responded never mind. I was turned off because she was way too hasty and abrasive in how she offered help and the fact that she would not allow me to finish speaking.. she kept cutting me off. Now, whether or not these guys have the best wings in Syracuse, I'll never know because I will never attempt to spend one cent there again. Nor will I ever recommend any one. read more

Recently, I hosted a movie night for a bunch of my friends. We treated ourselves to scrumptious and unbelievably delicious wings and ribs from Wings over Syracuse. Wow - if you like hot, the Chili wings were not only on-fire spicy, the flavorful sauce was amazing. The rack of ribs was tender, juicy and extremely lean. The meat was just right. Next time, I ordered the boneless wings, and they were just as good. Since I ordered a large amount, they were nice enough to send a sample of all the boneless wings, each as tasty as the last. Delivery was promised for 30 minutes; it arrived in 25. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny. Recommended. read more
