A couple of weeks ago I took my grandkids to Wing Stop on Walerga Rd for their lunch deal. WE ordered at the counter and paid. After we ate and left we were in the car this lady came running out the door, for who knows why,.she was yelling some foolishness, but I couldn't hear her.. we had done nothing wrong so I drove off... I decided to just call for takeout today. We had ordered 1 BBQ, 1 Cajun, 1 Lemon Chicken and 1 Original w/ xCrisp fries. 4 total and short 1 drink cup we went back in to get it. When we got home they were all correct except instead of the Lemon Chicken we got Buffalo sauce, not even close. We also only got 3 fries instead of 4 in which I paid for. I called the place and was given a big Hassel from the employee who answered the phone maybe now you probably guess I was getting very frustrated. So she asked me what I wanted to do about it. She told me to bring everything back up there...we had started eating it so that was not happening. I called an hour before closing - they were quick to take my phone order and I only had to wait 5 minutes after arrival. I recently ordered wings from Wingstop for my son's 4th birthday and I was pleasantly surprised. The price was right for the amount of wings, my son has severe food allergies, and Wingstop's menu is accommodating to his allergies. I check with 3 other popular wings restaurants near me and had no luck, one of which could not provide allergens. Janice, at Wingstop was so very kind. She called me to let me know that my order was ready. When she delivered my food to me, she had a big smile on her face, she was super sweet to my son, and wished him a happy birthday. WINGS SOAKED IN OIL. I used to frequent this location all the time in my teen years and loved it. Great wings for a good price. The fries are always great. But lately, I open the bag to wings and fries that smell so good and am disappointed to find when I open the boxes that the wings are sitting in a pool of oil. No matter how good the wings and sauces are, it's worthless when all you taste is fryer oil. Initially I thought it might just be a fluke, so I kept coming back and giving them chances to redeem my poor experience. The result: sometimes good, sometimes bad. But the last three times in a row have been experienced with oil-covered wings sitting in a pool of oil at the bottom of the container. The young lady at the register was excellent as they were pretty busy, and she seem to keep her composure well. I was very happy with the chicken sandwich. Fast, friendly and clean. I ordered thru the app while I was doing some things in the shopping center of wingstop. So I ordered thru the app witch was super easy!
