First time here I've been told it's the best Chinese food around so I decided to try it and I'm not disappointed. The flavor was very good and portion size (dinner) was great and I have leftovers. I ordered chicken mushroom with chowmein and I really enjoyed it. The restaurant is very nice inside, probably the nicest I've been too, and I have ate at a lot of Chinese food restaurants. My girlfriend wanted to go here as this is her favorite Chinese food. I was a bit skeptical of her claim as it was almost a 40 minute drive to it. Nevertheless, as her boyfriend I caved in and here we were. First off it has unassuming signage posted in front of the place. You guys need better stuff at the front so that passerbys can see easier. Now that is where the complaints end. The atmosphere inside is peaceful with some background pop music. We ordered the general chicken lunch special and the szechuan beef combination plate with bbq pork fried rice as our sides. The szechuan beef was cooked to perfection and had the perfect level of numbing spice. It had a slight crunch, but the inside was nice and tender. The general chicken flavor was great as well and both had a decent amount of sauce on them. The rice wasn't oily and had a nice flavor to the bbq pork. All these people talking filler veggies are chatting nonsense. I can't speak for when they're busy, but the service was also attentive, granted it was just me and my girlfriend at the time, but still. They pay attention to what needs to happen. All in all, if you like chinese food, especially the szechuan style, this place is a must. Absolutely worth a 40 minute drive!! We'll be coming back in the near future for sure! read more

Tasty Palace is decent. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very nice. The food is ok, it's not bad nor great but it's ok. The Peking pork was decent but I'll probably order something different next time. The Orange chicken could be better but it's decent. The pork chow mein was kind of dry in my opinion. I came here for new years day 2024. Walked in no waiting, nice and clean establishment. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly. I ordered salt and pepper shrimp ala carte and rice. When my order was ready the gentleman gave me a new years calendar and free dessert! The food was delicious not over or undercooked. I'm very pleased about the food and service. I've only been here a couple of times to pick up food and was always greeted initially and very friendly by the young gentlemen that works there. However last Monday , I decided to treat myself and my two children to the Tasty Palace, I wanted to sit down and eat because it is aesthetically pleasing , very clean and the food was pretty "Tasty" . We came into the entrance , the young lady that was towards the back , saw and heard us . She continued to walk and do whatever she was doing in the back , looked like she could have even been on her phone . After standing there awkwardly with my two children , I sang , "Helllllo." Mind you it was a Monday afternoon, no other customers were in there , I didn't even see any other staff . She looks up and towards me and children, mind you she's still all the way in the back behind the counter and she just stares at us , like with a "what!!?" expression. At this point , I'm so shocked , she finally says with attitude as if we were disrupting her whole little world , "Pick up or dining in?!?" I replied , "it was dining in but I don't like your attitude .( I meant to say your customer service) My two children and I walked out and it was so disheartening and disappointing. I had to explain to them that they don't have to stay or spend any money where they are not welcomed and/or greeted and/or even treated with at least some human decency .
