I ordered from this place a while ago, and everything was absolutely appalling. My fries looked and tasted burnt, with a hint of sweetness. I did not order sweet potato fries, so the surprise was unwelcome. It was also soggy and greasy despite being almost burnt to a crisp. The wings were okay. I made an account specifically for this place because the service was also simply a joke. I showed up a little early from a pre-placed order, around 10 minutes, and the dude at the front scoffed and gave me an attitude when I mentioned my order. He said he didn't even start making it yet and rolled his eyes. I honestly didn't even have a problem with the order since I was early, but the attitude and body language were unacceptable. Called the store asking for a refund and the person on the phone told me only the manager was able to issue a refund, not only did the person give me the real managers name but gave me the cooks name saying he was the manager. Long story short I finally got the "real" managers name John and he told me I'm working on your refund, it's been almost 3 weeks and I still haven't got my refund nor have I heard from him. My new go-to spot for wings in Escondido! I no longer have to hit Wings-N-Things in Carmel Mountain for some bomb wings, since Wings-N-Things in town is an absolute shit show, but I digress.. Anyway, both times I've been here I didn't have unpleasant experiences with the employees nor any complaints on the wait time or the food itself. The fact that it's within proximity to my hood makes it even better and the boneless wing deal on Monday/Tuesday is just icing to the cake lol. The dining area and the rest of the facility look clean and well kept, i hope these guys can keep it consistent because I'll keep coming here for my wing fix. My only gripe is that they don't have the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine like I've had at the Wingstop locations in Lakewood and Cerritos, but it's something marginal so no sweat. Every time I come here I'm given a such a bad customer service experience that I want to leave a bad review. EVERY TIME. bar none. I don't know why I return other than the lemon pepper wings are a bit addictive and sometimes I crave them. It's close to my house, I'm tired. Are these the reasons you want people to feel motivated to come to your restaurant? If so. Stop reading. I know it takes 30 mins to get your wings(which is crazy) so I tried to call ahead. This time I called and called and called probably 5-10 times on my 20 min drive to pick up. First call, put on hold and forgotten. The next 9 calls no answer. Just ring...ring...ring.... Then I got there, go inside to place my order in person. And then wait in the parking lot for 30 mins for my 10 wings(why god can they not sell them by the dozen like literally EVERY SINGLE WING JOINT ON THE PLANET?). I digress. I make my order and then their computer system froze. And they have to reboot. Now mind you I could have been eating at this very moment IF they answered the phone. Again, they don't. Nope not waiting. Got tacos. I was too hungry by this time. So here is how you fix your restaurant(and mind you I normally charge for this sort of restaurant consultation work) every time I go here there is a brand new crew of staff. EVERY TIME. which means they pay their crew nothing. Or next to nothing. And/Or they have really bad management/managers/owners who are awful. Or a mix of both. Which is more than likely. No benefits, low pay, bad management = high turnover. High turnover is twice to three times more expensive than than simply paying better and treating your employees a livable wage. I've seen it 1000's of times. This is my job. Fixing restaurants. Give people a reason to stay. So you lose turnover. And give them good support from good managers, supervisors, owners. Simple things like sick pay, health insurance. Not yelling at them. Treating them like human beings. Understanding they have kids and family and all the things that go with life. To retain employees is to save money. Which in turn is to put more money in their pockets at the end of the week. That's step one. That's my freebie. If the owners want to learn the rest then they can contact me. I could have this restaurant making money hand over fist. I doubt they will, I doubt they'll use my freebie. You have good product. I love the mango habanero wings so much I drive an extra 20 minutes out of my way on the way home just to get them. Unfortunately this is probably the worst run establishment I've ever come across. Put me on hold for 10 minutes so I wait to go into the store; they wait make me wait 30 minutes for the same order that I could've ordered on the way.. After about the 4th time of something going wrong - I will now have to drive an extra 35 mins just to go to the Vista location. *****Update few weeks later***** Called Saturday night 12/1/18: was out of bone-in wings... It's the one of two chicken items you serve, wtf!! Called Saturday night 12/8/18: 11 times!!! No answer, or get the fax screaming at me. I understand what the other yelpers were saying, how this location is understaffed. Luckily, it was just me and my family who were there; so the wait wasn't long. The tables were a bit dirty, but the food and service made up for it. We ordered 20 flat chicken wings, 10 lemon peppers (which are the best in my opinion. Thinking about them makes me hungry!!) and 10 teriyaki wings. With a side of soggy fries :( and two drinks. All for $28 bucks. Not too bad considering we ended up with leftovers. Main problem with this place: timeliness of food preparation. The wings are great and the workers are polite. However, every single time I order online, my food is not ready at the prescribed time. A few times I had to wait 15 minutes even. Even when the place has zero customers inside I have had to wait. Suggestion to management: know your people. If they can't hack the times, give them more time online so I don't show up when it's not ready, hire new people who are more efficient, or train your current people better. Do something! Because this is the theme throughout all of your reviews and it's embarrassing that you haven't fixed it. read more

I've taken out a couple times to satisfy those wing cravings. Tonight, I made the mistake of dining in on a night the employees just didn't care. 1. Wanted to break a large bill, cashier said she had no change, made zero effort to look for change, and stared at me for 5 seconds before the guy at the other register intervened and gave me change from his machine. 2. 2 tables not cleaned with trash on top, remained that way the whole time we were there. 3. Garlic parm wings not seasoned well, very bland. Mild wings barely coated with sauce. 4. Took one bite of my roll and spat it out. Definitely beyond expiration. Absolutely not coming here again.
