Chicken piping hot, decent breading (although they did not seem double breaded as suggested by waitress), and the sweet and spicy sauce I selected was very good. $10.38 before tip, including a fountain drink, was a real bargain. The wife's buffalo chicken sandwich was covered in sauce--not just the chicken, but the whole thing. Outside, inside, everywhere. It was so slippery she couldn't hold onto it. Fries were typical (definitely not snob-worthy) My wings weren't hot, warm maybe, but could tell that they were plated for 15 of the 20 minutes we waited for the order (we were the only guests there). It was super dark in the restaurant, so much so that we had to make sure they were actually open. There was no one else in the business other than the employees. I'm assuming that the dark light situation was to cover what we eventually found to be total filth. When we ordered, paid, and sat down, the staff turned on the music so loud that the three in our party couldn't even talk to one another. The tables were dirty. The fountain drink machine was in disarray, as was the self-serve station. No napkins, plastic ware, or typical accoutrements. The hallway to the restrooms looks like it needed a deep cleaning, and the single potty room looked and smelled like a daycare. The paper towel dispenser was problematic. When we left, the staff demanded that we clean the table off--as the cook sat on the floor behind the counter charging his phone. I thought it was ironic considering how the entire place felt disgustingly dirty. We're a wing-loving family. We wanted to try this as a new place for one of our favorite treats. Based on the experience, we won't be back. Instead, we'll be trying Wing Daddy's up the road next time. I like how the ownership appears to take to heart the negative reviews. But this one is a sincere plea for real change before this business falters and shuts their doors as another bygone attempt at food service.

Because the weather was cooperative, the windows of the enclosed patio and the bar were opened. Diners were able to sit at the bar in the patio area. The bar was initially staffed by a single bartender. Not only did she introduce herself, she also asked for my name. As I needed a menu, she asked the host for a stack for myself and other diners. A second employee, not as friendly, arrived sometime later to assist setting up the bar. There were some minor inconveniences arriving this early. Because I was the first to require a refill, the bartender had to get a coffee pot from the kitchen. Afterwards, she kept the pot at the bar. I decided on the Breakfast Egg Rolls. Not sure how something tagged "new" can be a house specialty. The breakfast jam lacked flavor. The egg rolls were saved due to the taste of the fried wontons. Of the two sauces, the maple syrup was better than the spicy hollandaise. The hollandaise lacked both heat and spiciness. When I was served coffee, I was not provided either cream nor sweeteners. As I did not notice any nearby, rather than wait to have the her return to the kitchen, I decided to give it a sip. Surprisingly, the coffee tasted great. It was neither acidic nor had a bitter aftertaste.
