Yet through the screen, you cannot see its true colors. There is something so mysterious about that chicken... it's hiding a secret. But gosh darn is it good. My favorite is the garlic parmesan. You readers must know I loooove my garlic and a bit of cheese can surely tickle my darn buttons! But wooooooweee! Now i'd consider myself a bit on the bigger end but just some couple bits or sometimes approximately 6 to 7 of this chicken and I feel like I made a big mistake! Wingstop always gets you in by looking so good but when you eat it, you feel sick!!! But I love my chicken drenched in that ranch! It's just the perfect combination. I would have loved to leave a review about the wings, but unfortunately we never got that far. We drove across town specifically to come to this Wingstop and stood there for about five minutes without anyone greeting us or even acknowledging we were there. Finally, one of the guys looked over and asked, "Are you picking up or do you need to order?" We told him we needed to order. He then just walked away and went right back to what he was doing. Wingstop has been one of our go to spots for dinner whenever we can't decide what to eat. There's just something about their wings that always hits the spot! Most of the time, they come out consistently good, crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned. There have been a few occasions where the wings were a little under crisped, but it's usually when they're slammed with orders. I've noticed the pick up time can run a bit past the estimate time. I've never been to wing stop before. Honestly I don't even know how long this place was open but I wanted to try it out because I've seen videos of people eating here and it looks good. Upon looking on yelp I've seen a few bad reviews so my expectations wasn't high. Despite the bad reviews I have to try it and give my own opinion...right? lol. Coming in I was looking for a trash can. And there is no trash can in sight. Not even outside! Wtf? This is the first restaurant I've ever been to that doesn't even provide a trash can for customers. Which leads to customer leaving their trash on the tables....like? What if other customers wants to sit down but can't because majority of the tables just have trash sitting there and the workers aren't even cleaning it! Now with the service we stood by the cashier for a good 5-10 mins. No "hello, welcome or can we help you?" Two ladies just standing at the register doing whatever their doing but helping customers lol. Our food surprisingly came out quick. I was expecting an hour wait like what others had posted. I tried the new citrus mojo which was pretty good. There wasn't even napkins they used paper towel rolls that are meant for the bathroom. Wingstop is sooo good but they're not always the most efficient. No matter what day or time I order, I always end up waiting longer than anticipated. They do to have a lot of takeout orders so it's understandable but they need to hire more staff. I suggest ordering on the app to reduce wait time. Make sure to check everything after you receive your order because often times they'd forget items like the ranch or veggies. I usually order the atomic, cajun, and lemon pepper. The atomic is my favorite and is super spicy. You can request all flats for an extra $5 but if they're too busy they might decline. Their ranch dressing is the best and definitely ties the whole meal together. Every now and then we'd order a large ranch just to have extra in our house. Just ordered from here yesterday and I feel like it gets worse and worse everything I do buy from this location, the customer service is pretty bad and food is not good and this last time my order was missing some of its items. The last few times I've come to this location to pick up my order that I made on the app it always takes forever to get any of the workers attention. And there is usually a lot of them either just standing in the back or not really doing anything. I'm not sure if it's because I order from the app or if the wings might be better if you order and eat in the restaurant but the wings are usually under seasoned and cold by the time I pick it up. Wingstop is providing GREAT chicken wings with GREAT flavor. Its amazing how packed with online orders, walk-ins, and food deliveries they get a day, BUT fortunately they have a system and its works. The average wait time was 15 to 20 minutes, which is standard with all chicken wing places. Staff stayed calm, friendly, and professional in the chaos. Interior is fair. Happy National Chicken Wings Day... The favorite among many to enjoy it plain or volcanic...it's the favorite finger food...next to fries in my opinion and here they do have that and more. Walking in to the Kalihi Kapālama Shopping Center location they were swamped as many were waiting for their order and was extremely behind with apparently many "flocked" in for the offer like I did. The worst location to order from. Placed an order online & made a mistake. Called 1 minute after placing the order to ask to correct it just to talk to a clueless employee. Pretty big pieces of chicken and it really filled me up! The cajun corn is also a new side favorite, it's seasoned well and spicy. I think it was the lack of care that got me to take notice of other discrepancies. After, I noticed all the dried soda that ran down the soda machine. It had not been wipped up from the night before, which again showed the lack of care to operate a clean restaurant. First time coming here. My son requested to try Wing Stop for his birthday. He did mention he seen a lot of videos about how good Wing Stop was, IDK. Staff did not greet us when we came in and they all looked like they were over their shift. Anyways, went in, 1 customer in front of me ordering. When our turn came, we ordered the 40 pcs. meal. Came with 40 pcs. of chicken (flavors we got: Lemon pepper, Garlic Parmesan, Louisiana Rub, and Spicy Korean), large fries, 2 sets of veggie sticks (carrots & celery), and 4 ranch dressing. We also ordered 5 pcs. corn. Everything came out to $79 and some change. The staff taking my order was talking a little too soft for me so I kept asking him to repeat what he said. He finished taking my order at 1:55pm. There were extra chairs and a bench on the side, to sit and wait for your food. But if you prefer to eat in, there is a dining area, with some flat screen TVs, and they have 1 restroom. I didn't order any drinks but they did have one of those big fancy Coca Cola machines that offers multiple flavors. As I'm waiting for my food, I notice a lot of customers who ordered online picking up their food, probably because of the wait. I also noticed that a customer who ordered after me got their food first. Not sure if it was because I had a bigger order. Finally, the staff called my name and got my food around 2:30pm. But she forgot to put in my veggie sticks, so she told me to wait. As my son and I waited, we tried the fries and it was soggy and lukewarm. That was a bummer. Got home, and tried the food. Although it does get extremely busy, i always know that the wings and fries will come out fresh and amazing, every single time. The manager always does a great job and employees are efficient! I always get the Coke with cream soda or Coke with lime. We ordered the classic bone in 15 piece meal for 2. It included fries, drink and a homemade ranch dip. The three sauces we picked were Hawaiian, Garlic Parmesan and Hickory Smoked BBQ. The food has always been good. The wings are plump and crispy. The fries are cooked to perfection. However, I wish I could give them 5 stars. We waited 40 minutes for our wings. The wait is always long. They do have a lot of takeouts though. People kept coming in and out picking up their orders. Also, they were out of Hawaiian sauce. Instead of letting me know, they just left it bare. I had to ask the cashier if they forgot to sauce those wings. She went and asked the kitchen staff. They informed her that they were out of the Hawaiian sauce. They should let the cashier know if they're out of something so she doesn't take the order. This won't deter me from coming back.
