I have a theory that not all wing stop locations are created equal and this location bolsters that theory. This location isn't bad but its def not on par with my fave location in south Austin. The wings here weren't as crispy and a bit drier (not dry just not as juicy). I got garlic parm, korean bbq and reg hot. The garlic parm flavor was ok...a bit light on flavor but again, not bad. The reg hot was the best flavor as it balanced the spice and butter perfectly for a wing. The korean bbq was a total let down. I noticed it wasn't sticky like I'm accustomed to. It was also VERY brown, like bbq sauce. Then i bit it and...bbq sauce. I could tell it was meant to be spicy bbq but the bbq flavor just dominated...i dunno whats up with that sauce but i wasn't wing stop korean bbq like i know it to be. Even though my overall experience with the product from this location is lack luster the look of the location was nice. I liked the big electronic board you see when you first walk in where you track your order's progress. Also, the girl working the counter was friendly. She greeted everyone as they came in and provided prompt service. Efficiency is the name of the game here. During the call, I was informed that my number would no longer be accepted for placing orders due to an alleged prank call supposedly coming from my number. I want to clarify that I did not make any such call, and I have a screenshot of my call log to confirm this. But I ended up standing there nearly 20 minutes waiting for sweet tea to be brewed and sweetened. Meanwhile, the customer's food sat in the bag getting cold. To make matters worse, the ice machine was empty -- thankfully, one attentive employee quickly stepped in to refill it when I asked. But with at least eight staff members present at 5 PM on a Saturday, it was surprising how disorganized things felt. One employee was kind enough to check in with me. Another was on her phone behind the counter. When I asked the person brewing the tea if it was ready, she said yes -- but she still needed to add sugar. I asked how long that would take, and she said she had to clean a flavored tea container first. That's not a priority move when an order is sitting and a customer is waiting. This may seem minor, but it reflects a bigger issue. Delivery drivers aren't just messengers -- we're the final step in your customer's experience. When delays like this happen, we take the hit. Wingstop in Kyle is situated in a very easy to access strip mall by Target in a safe section of town. I will state now all the employees are really good people and pretty quick to make the orders. That said, if you order via the website for some reason, it won't let the customer pay for the order. I'm not sure if it was a "today hiccup" or what but it's an issue. However I quickly paid when I showed up to get my wings. I've been several times and my orders are always hot and tasty. That said I will advise that if you have a family and plan on eating in or just having a kid accompany you, please note the music selection is extremely adult oriented. I went in recently and I'm not sure if it was Jay Z (A rapper for those who don't know) or someone else but the lyrics would make your momma slap you for listening. I used to work at a certain sub restaurant when I was younger and there's no way the owners would have allowed for such music to be played. Wingstop you guys might want to consider what the customers hear as this isn't the club at 1am. Next I happen to notice in the picture I've attached, potatoes all over the floor in the back. This would get a ding from the health inspector and if it were protein might warrant a very harsh penalty. I highly advise keeping the floors of the premise free of food material that most certainly will be utilized. Overall, Wingstop is Wingstop but these two little items I pointed out should be fixed as it can affect repeat customers and I can't see myself ordering fries again from here as it's burned into my mind. During my 15 minute wait all I saw in the back were all these kids laughing and playing on their phones. The floor was dirty with wings and fries. The flavor of my Louisiana Rub was really good (it's the hottest flavor of theirs I can handle, as long as I have ranch with it-- yup, I'm a lightweight in that category), but the Hawaiian just wasn't hitting like it should. Stopped in for lunch. Ordered the 10 piece, half Hawaiian, half hickory smoked. Comes with fries and a drink. Like that the lemons and lime are cut and look really fresh and stored on ice at the drink counter. Iced tea tasted fresh as well. Your wings are not cooked until you order so plan on a 15 minute wait. They do bring the food to you. Service is good. Music playing inside is not to my taste as a little too loud but I am an older dude so maybe it's just me. Lol I would also recommend they add napkins at each table. Sauce covered wings are messy and there is a single spool of those brown paper towels where you get you drinks. Fries were real potatoes fried! Completely got my order wrong the first time after an extra 25 minute wait past the original 30 minute wait. After calling and informing them that they gave me the wrong order( the expo examines every order to ensure its correct before it leaves) they said they would have my correct order waiting for me. I was already passed mad so my wife goes to get the "correct" order after seeing the fries were not included she had them include the fries I previously paid for. The MANAGER then tells my wife we should have just ate the 1st incorrect order. Hold on little man.... Once we get home and open the box THEY ARE ALL BINE IN WHEN WE ORDERED BONELESS!!!
