Maybe the Knoxville food scene just doesn't justify carrying those other options. I feel like this locations business is primarily takeout and delivery based since there was basically no other customers inside the physically restaurant dining in. The brisket itself was juicy and tender and had a perfect peppery bark. The sandwich is served with their house pickles and onions on the side along with a smoky sauce. Well, today was the first time I've been there when they had smoked. I'm extremely picky about smoked sausages and always prefer Texas-style over anything else around here. Today they had a jalapeño cheese smoked sausage... and it was absolutely delicious. I can't even properly express how good it was. So if you're reading this right now -- stop what you're doing and go get one. You won't regret it. The pulled pork sandwich is consistently delicious and a staple for me--but today, the smoked sausage completely stole the show. Absolute standout.
