We were driving through town and decided to place a carry out order (our only option due to COVID-19) since we had never eaten at a Wing Stop. We used the online app, which was user friendly. The order confirmation said our order would be ready in 16-20 minutes. Approximately 15 minutes later I walked in and they were packaging up our order. They almost forgot to place one of our items in the bag, but they stopped me before I walked out. We're frequent BWW goers and I will say that these boneless wings were probably better! The breading wasn't thick and the chicken was meaty, juicy white meat. I was surprised at the limited sauce flavors - approximately a dozen options. For this place to specialize in wings I would have expected a LARGE selection of sauce flavors. We tried 3 different flavors: hot, Cajun, and the hickory smoked BBQ. The sauces were good but there wasn't a huge difference between the flavor of the Hot and the Cajun, which was a bit disappointing. After dinner we both commented on how thirsty we were and how salty the sauces seemed to be. However, they were pretty good and I liked the fact that the breading wasn't thick. I've read other reviews about the poor attitudes and disinterest of the staff. While I didn't necessarily experience that (since I ordered and paid online) I will say that everyone behind the counter/in the kitchen seemed VERY young (high school age). No one was rude but it was VERY obvious that this was just a job to earn spending money. Overall, we were very satisfied with our food. People are harder on chains, and that is not always fair. I like Wingstop. The wings are always cooked perfectly and I have a weird hatred of "Frankenwings" ie wings that are all malshaped and odd looking. I just can't eat them. That is a weird me thing. I'm aware of that. I always get perfect wings at Wingstop with no frankenwings. The sauces and rubs are always good and they actually have wings with some heat and flavor. The hottest local wing joints top out at "hot" which is "Franks," which is not hot. Franks is mild. Atomic at Wingstop is perfect. 6 Atomic is a perfect burn that doesn't last too long. Wingstop is cooked perfectly, delivered quickly, flavored perfectly, and the employees are lovely. Blows all the local places with their wimpy Franks Red Hot Frankenwings to shame. Solid 5. Unfortunately there aren't many good options for wings in Martinsburg so I am happy to finally have a Wingstop. *Such relief!!* They offer a few convenient ways to order: in person, by phone, online, or their app. You can also dine-in. They have plenty of tables. (Basically, you have no excuse for not giving them a try!) I typically get their 8 piece traditional wings. They have about 15 different flavor options and you really can't go wrong with any of them. The lemon pepper are my favorite. I definitely recommend for a first-timer. This location is quick. It's actually quicker than any other Wingstop I've been to in this area. They also seem to check orders for accuracy. I haven't gotten the wrong food yet. But then again, they are still new so I would give them a free pass. The price on their wing combos range from about $8-$15. It's honestly a better deal to get the combo since you get a side and drink included. They are pretty generous with their seasoned fries so I challenge you to eat all of them! Austin brings out a few sauced the way he described and asked us to try it. We did and damnit it was good! When AUSTIN completed our order he bought it to our table. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST Restaurant. It look 20 minutes just for the worker to place an order. It was not worth the drive to the restaurant. After waiting for the food, the order was completely wrong. The people working in the restaurant clearly did not want to be there and did not know how to work the register to credit my card after double charging me for the wrong order. After all of that the order was still incorrect and it took calling a manager off site to fix the problem. This is not worth anyone's time. Additionally, being from Buffalo NY, this restaurant does not know how to prepare wings the correct way. Furthermore, having been in a restaurant business, the workers or the manager did not know how to handle a problem. Best Advice: Stay home and cook your own wings in a deep fryer in the drive way. The food is always fresh, the restaurant is clean, and the manager always asks us how the food was before we leave. I placed an order through door dash on 5/21/22 for a friend that was staying at our house while we were away for the evening. I placed an order for 20 classic wings with barbecue sauce, 4 tenders with barbecue sauce, and a order of fries. When we returned from the evening out, the bag was on the counter and the friend didn't eat any of the food as it was all nuggets. I would have called the store, but unfortunately the place we where at we had to have our phones off and and the friend couldn't have gotten ahold of us. The food was in different flavors, mild, old bay, plain and I believe garlic Parmesan. Plus they sent two orders of fries. I would believe this was someone else's order, not mine. This is the 3rd time our order was incorrect. The other 2 times, we lived with the mistake ( wrong flavors on the wings ) and consumed the food. Then when I asked we learn d they mistakenly gave part of our order to someone else. When we did receive our order and got back home they forgot to put an order of wings in that bag. We called immediately and when we went back they said they had not forgotten them. Even thought we stat d and it was confirmed on the phone that they forgot to add them in.
