This location just opened in the Southchase shopping center. They have wings, tenders and seasoned fries. This was my first time at a Wingstop and trying their sauces. They are still training their staff, however they were quite busy for a Sunday afternoon. An advertised special was thigh bites. This seemed to be pieces of chicken thigh meat breaded like nuggets and fried. I chose the regular size sauced with lemon pepper which the sign indicated was popular. This was pretty good fried chicken and what I first took for grease in the bottom of the container was sauce. This is a counter service restaurant with self service drinks and a small grouping of tables. Not a big place. Not super impressed- but good. Ordered carryout on a Sunday. Enjoyed that the wings were fresh and juicy! Wasn't too much a fan of their sauces. Honestly just a whole lot of butter and salt without much flavor. Sauces overall just seemed soupy and greasy (we got lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan). I love a wing sauce with some thickness that can really coat the wings lol- this wasn't it. The lemon pepper one threw me off as well bc it had a strange sweetness instead of the tang I was expecting. We really liked the fries and fried corn- would def go back for those! Take out order had no errors and I have learned that alone rates 5 stars! Order was ready when we arrived and still hot and very pleasant take out service. Hot honey boneless wing deal is perfect size for three. Boneless wings are a good size and not like popcorn small but more chicken strips. The hot part is not too hot because I was able to tolerate. It does have a mild after kick. Lemon pepper wings were right amount of seasoning with a lemon kick. Really liked honey mustard sauce. Bite size Fried corn was delicious. I always try to give them another chance bc it always looks so good but I'm disappointed EVERY time , their fries are always pretty consistent though but the wings on the other hand always let me down. We ordered one wings combo and a chicken sandwich online and the confirmation said food will be ready in 13 to 18 mins. Went there accordingly and checked in and was told to wait for 10 mins. After waiting there for half an hour we saw the person who ordered on store after we checked in got the food. Upon checking we were told our order was still pending. I'm giving this 2 stars because after complaining about one kid touching and pulling at his hair and taking something out of it and flicking it off into the counter; the young kid next to him washed his hands and helped finish my order. What was more bothersome was after the kid was told that I witnessed him rubbing his fingers in his hair, he STILL did NOT wash his hands! More than half of the kids had AirPods in their ears and touching their phones while dealing with customer's food. It was my first time having wingstop but I wanted to try it because of rave reviews through social media and just wanted to see the hype. Walking in, the place was very busy. Bags upon bags lined up in the shelf for pick up. I figured things would be pretty fresh since it was busy. The girl at the counter greeted me and was very friendly. Ordered my food and waited for my order. I grabbed a drink and they didn't have any ice in the soda machine, no big deal, figured they ran out. There were about 10 tables for dine in patrons and a bench for the take out patrons. I waited about 20 minutes for my food which is fair due to how busy it was. Came home and the food looked great but I was missing my dipping sauces that came with the meal and the extra ones that I had paid for. I was upset to the say the least. You could say it was my fault for not checking but i shouldn't have to when 2 dips came with my order. If it wasn't late and I wasn't tired I would've called and picked it up. The food was hot and tasted good but I didn't have the full experience of trying it with the ranch like everyone raves about which was pretty disappointing. I do have to say that the Cajun corn was by far my favorite. I had gotten 4 flavors for the 20 piece which were the hot honey dry rub, lemon pepper, mango habanero, and spicy Korean. Zero Stars actually ... I placed an order online through Wingstop and when I received my order it was absolutely disgusting... wings were salty, ice tea tasted old/sour, and fries were cold/burnt. I called the location a nice girl answered and I asked to speak with a manager and some kid name Jojo got on the phone and repeatedly kept answering and hanging up in face (3times) pretending to be the manager... Jojo is the name I got from a suppose to be manager name Devin who I don't know if that's even true. Devin stated that the fries could be cold because of the third party delivery door dash and I would have to call door dash to have them redeliver more food, but after reading the reviews it seems like that's an ongoing problem and has nothing to do with door dash. I went to the store the next day and received my refund for the lack of customer service and poor quality food.
