He told us there were tables reserved for Browns fans if we wanted to move. We were contemplating when bartender Abby came by for our order. I told her we may be moving to the reserved spots and she got snarky with me, saying that we would have to go out to the host stand to move!! Really??? We were just invited to move. We decided to stay put anyway, but after a while, it got really cold at the bar. I asked "sweet" Abby if they could turn up the heat. Again, I was met with a snotty attitude saying that other people said it was warm. Of course the female manager came and told me that the heat was on all the way. We come here often, but the last 2 times it was cold with the fans running ( did I mention that the fans were running full blast?) . I think we will be finding a new place to go to watch games. Of course it came with the obligatory two pieces of celery and two carrot sticks with ranch sauce (commercial brand). Drink selection is lemonade, pink lemonade, peach drink, fruit punch, or water. On our friend's recommendation Anne and I shared a bowl of the shrimp and crab chowder. The fish is flavorfully coated and perfectly fried... moist meat that beautifully flakes apart. The creamy chowder is a shrimp and crab lover's dream. We amped up the heat to our taste with a few dashes of Crystal hot sauce. The chowder is definitely a do again dish for us. Our friend ordered the a la carte fried oysters and they looked so good we're returning today to give them a try (along with more mullet, of course). I enjoyed a draft Jai Alai IPA, and as bottles of wine were half price we shared a Gabbiano pinot grigio that proved to be quite nice. A perfect compliment to the fish and chowder.
