A unique chicken wing restaurant. Not really a review, but a few things you should know about Wingstop if you haven't been before (the staff will sometimes forget to tell you or they don't really know to mention it): 1 - the wings are cooked to order and will take 15+ minutes even when things are running well. 2 - the fries have a seasoning you may or may not like. You can order it without seasoning. 3 - I'm not a fan of any of the wing flavors and I get the feeling that many people agree. I suggest asking to try them or just get the wings without sauce and use your own... 4 - the celery and carrot sticks are sliced huge and I love this, but some people hate it. 5 - order ahead unless you like sitting there for 20+ minutes smelling wings but not eating any. The value proposition is OK, I feel like there are just as good if not better wings elsewhere at a better price, but Wingstop brings some unique qualities to their food. We ordered the 2 person special, which came with 15 bone in wings (2 flavors), large fries, 2 drinks and 2 dips for around $25-a bit pricey to me, but I don't know, the boneless wings were cheaper. The cooking/prep area was very clean. It took quite a while for our food but it was okay because the food was cooked to order, so our food was fresh and hot or maybe I was just hungry and it seemed like a long time. My husband ordered the Lemon Pepper and I ordered the Spicy Korean. I didn't like the Lemon Pepper flavor, not because it wasn't good, I'm just not a Lemon pepper fan but hubby enjoyed it. The Spicy Korean was DELICIOUS! Anyone who knows me knows I like my wings "saucey" and I don't like the little packets of dressing for the dip. I placed a company lunch order for 100pc pack on Tuesday for today through the online ordering. I received an email this morning at 9:00am letting me know that the ordering system was not able to transmit my order. Of course, I panicked because my order was to be ready for pick up at 11:30am. I called the restaurant and spoke with Christian. Christian said that it was no problem and that I could give him the order and that he would have it ready on time. I got to the restaurant to pick up my order as Christian was finishing it up. Christian was very apologetic and very attentive to my needs. The young people (I'm 22 so they must have been high schoolers) who were working while I was on shift freely cursed, used slurs, and played loud music (on their phones) (over the already-loud music playing over the speaker phones). Normally if I didn't do a pick up order the wait for my order is terribly long despite even though there's only three customers in the room. But since we did an online order we got it right away this time. We usually eat the wings when we get there.. only because the wings taste better eaten right away. But the dining room feels like it's always messy, sticky. It almost feels like a bachelor's home and I'm in his kitchen. Trash would be here and there. Would be nicer if the tables were more clean. One time another customer came and she randomly started arguing with the another random customer... None of the employees here stepped in to stop her or to smooth over the situation and the atmosphere became really scary. She left eventually without even getting wings, but it kind of felt like she was going to come back with a gun or something with how heated her one sided argument was. I think itd be nice if employees or some kind of manager here were trained more to handle situations like this. As he tosses the wings in the steel bowl of saucemania. The wings have the right amount of sauce and flavor to smack yo mama - it's that good, here. I enjoy the Hawaiian sauce. It's sweet, no heat. Now they have some serious heat, the sauces on the board have the description of no heat to 5 alarm! The blue cheese dip cup full of chunks, don't worry they have ranch. I am about the blue so I can describe it. Love my ranch folks. Dining in? just order and pick a table to sit at - they will bring you...your food. The drinks are serve yourself, to include teas, plus no limit on refills (nice). They have paper towels and wet naps. No trash cans, they take your messy tray. So just leave it on the table. I always feel bad because I like to clear my table, but hey it's what they do! The place is always clean, no trays left on tables. They are good about that! Service has always been great, never a bad day at this place. They have carry out, tip would be call ahead especially on game day because they have minimal seating to wait for your order, unless you do not mind standing or you could wait in your car. Yeah. This Wingstop is bad. First off, the customer service is atrocious. The minute you walk in, you are not greeted, nor are you even acknowledged. Once you wait 3-4 minutes of being completely ignored, you are greeted with a non-verbal head nod, and it seems that simply being a customer at a place of business, it is annoying to the people who work there. Yeesh. Next issue is the way they pack the food. I ordered food online, and it was not ready when I came at the assigned time, no big deal. Once it was finished, they packed my food in the most non-sensical, ridiculous, and completely asinine way. In a bag, you typically place things inside them upright, correct? Not at this Wing stop. They put things in SIDEWAYS. How does this make sense? I was in a rush so I carefully held the bag, and left. Once I got home, the fries, ranch, and wings all fell out of the bag.
