Always saw them but decided to stop today and give them a try. Got the 8pc bone in combo. Seasoned Fries had a very unique taste that I wasn't expecting. But they were super good. Got the hickory BBQ and Lemon Pepper. Taste was pretty good. My concern is for the price I paid I think they wings were too small. I was still hungry after eating the wings and fries. Undecided if I will return. Maybe I'll try a different location toward the end of the year. If they are the same size I doubt I will he able to do business with them.

The hunt for good wings in Essex county & nearby continues. After being disappointed with another restaurant, I began wondering if wing stop could deliver. Yes it's a chain and people have commented about not getting the right order, but I decided to take a gamble. We showed up early on a Saturday evening & decided to go in for a combo of 15 wings, 2 flavors (original hot & korean), and fries. As true wing fanatics, we moved over to the sidewalk so we could make a plate and sit since indoor dining was closed... the amount of people that trickled in after us was impressive. These folks weren't deterred by the mixed reviews On to the wings: I'm a truist when it comes to my wings, buffalo or bust, but I can appreciate flavors, and the Korean flavor here was really nice. so nice I wanted to dip the fries in thr sauce. As for the original hot, it was a true buffalo flavor, my only hope was for more heat. Next time I'll try the atomic flavor, but It didn't seem like atomic was buffalo flavor, so it would have been nice to have a hotter buffalo flavor. The fries-- surprisingly OK even though they looked like they were drenched in oil. However, I LOVE salt, i salt everything, and oh my, I've never tasted fries saltier than this. These fries will only appeal to 10% of people's palettes given the sodium level.

Stopped by for a quick dinner while doing some last minute Christmas shopping. We each ordered an 8 piece combo that has 8 wings (traditional or boneless) and you can get 2 different flavors if you'd like. It also includes fries and a soda. I went with the traditional wings... Garlic Parmesan, and the mild buffalo with blue cheese. I really enjoyed both varieties of the wings both very tasty! My fiancé had the boneless variety which was about $1.80 less for the combo. He had Mango habanero, and Korean BBQ. He liked the mango habanero but didn't really care for the Korean BBQ. I tried a bite and I didn't like it either. As for the fries we both thought they were on the soggy side and most went uneaten. Still it was a pretty good quick dinner for around $20 and I really liked those garlic Parmesan wings. I'll go back just for them...

Great place to grab wings. I came here for the first time and the cashier was nice, warm, and friendly. She helped me and my partner choose our food by giving us a run down of everything on the menu. She was even patient when we asked to try sauces. My partner and i decided to order the 12 piece boneless combo with hickory smoke bbq. It cane with a large side (fries), 2 drinks, and 2 dipping sauces. We also ordered another 8 piece boneless with mango habanero and bbq and a side of cheese sauce. Everything was around $28. They even charge you for dining in the restaurant. Our food took about 10 min. The fries were hot and yummy. The wings were not as hot but good. I thought things were on the salty side but my partner find think so. The mango habanero sauce is great, its spicy but not as spicy as i though considering it was the second most spicy sauce. All in my partner really likes this place, i thought it was just ok. The place is really clean with nice and friendly staff. And the fries are fresh cut and awesome. I will return.

first and foremost they shorted us 3 wings. Wings were supposed to be split but all were put in the same sauce so i'm not sure what the point of asking was. Food was good just a bad start that tanked the situation.

They allowed people to congregate around the soda machine. Constantly refilling with no mask and mask pulled down

Is it possible to give them a half of a star... ? The food was great the manger was overwhelmed. She had two guys arguing and wanted to fight. The taller one wanted to go off and refused to listen to reasoning. Look at the pic... the place was a baby super spreader.

She speaks to customers with an attitude that lacks basic courtesy and customer service. No customer should feel like they're inconveniencing an employee by simply placing an order. What makes the experience even worse is the lack of leadership. The Black manager often appears more focused on having personal conversations and interacting with that employee than supervising the restaurant and assisting customers. As a customer, it's frustrating to stand waiting while management seems distracted instead of ensuring the business is running professionally. I would rather drive to another location than continue spending my money here. Customer service, accountability, and professionalism start with management, and unfortunately this location reflects the opposite. I hope the owner or district manager reads this review, identifies the employees described, and provides the coaching and leadership necessary to improve the customer experience. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of who they are.

The growing popularity of Korean fried chicken reflects a greater familiarity with Korean culture…read more Celebrated for its crispy exterior and tender interior, Korean fried chicken has been a staple late-night snack in South Korea since the late 1970s and early '80s. It's typically known as "drinking food," or anju, though Koreans also enjoy the crispy pieces of meat with non-alcoholic drinks. The dish is most often made with bone-in chicken thighs or wings that have been coated in a cornstarch mixture. Traditionally, the chicken is fried twice to take it to the next level of crunchiness. Located on a busy Stuyvesant Avenue in Union, I decided on bb.q Chicken for lunch. The acronym "bb.q" in their name stands for "Best of the Best Quality," focusing on high-quality ingredients. Upon arrival as a first-timer at this modern, well-lit, clean establishment with Korean music playing throughout, I was greeted by the staff. Their menu features fried chicken, rice bowls, and Ddeok-Bokki. I decided on the Honey Garlic Wings brushed in a savory sauce with a mild tang of garlic and Chicken Fried Rice with vegetables in a classic kimchi base. The wings were prepared fresh (~20 mins prep time). The taste was deliciously amazing and addicting with a perfect balance of crispy and juicy with the right amount of spices. The complimentary pickled radish that came with the meal had a good balance. All was prepared for takeout even if one was dining there. Portions were healthy, and the price was comparable to the area. The staff is attentive and polite. Thank you for reminding me what real good fried chicken looks and tastes like.

The place was busy, and then they also have screens where people can watch sports, and other events. They had a very decent menu, that leaned toward "pub grub." The meal started, with chicken strips coated, in Ritz crackers. They were delicious. You could definitely taste the Ritz crackers, and the sweetness of the crackers played very well against the chicken. I don't remember what was in the dipping sauce, but it was amazing They actually reminded me of the old "planet Hollywood" restaurants They had a Dish, along the same line, called "chicken crunch". Chicken, coated in Cap'n crunch cereal. As weird as it sounds, I loved it, and I'm not the only one. It was one of their most popular appetizers, if not the most popular. The main course, the short rib tacos were fantastic. The short rib was literally melt in your mouth tender. It also came with a pink sauce, that was both savory and tangy at the same time. It had a little bit of a kick to it. I may be wrong, but to me, it tasted like there was a little bit of horseradish in it. For the quality of the food, the price was reasonable. I would gladly come back. Thanks!

Johnny Napkins is a chain of pizza shops (they recently opened a location in Cranford) and it definitely has a sense of humor about itself. When you walk in the walls are painted with various characters including their mascot "Johnny Napkins". It really adds a fun feel to the space. They have plenty of seating including large tables with about 6-8 tall seats around them and a bar where individuals can sit and eat. Shakers with garlic salt, pepper and more are spread throughout the eatery so you can spice up your slices. The main counter has a glass case with a bunch of square and round pies on display. I wound up getting a slice with mushrooms and a BBQ chicken slice. Service was super friendly and efficient. These folks were *busy* with a constant stream of walk-ins and phone calls at the same time. I was very impressed. My slices came quickly and I sat at the counter to enjoy my food. The slice with mushrooms was excellent. Nicely heated up, a good crust and just the right amount of cheese. It was not too salty and had plenty of flavor. The BBQ chicken slice however featured a thicker crust (even though it was a slice from a round pie). I prefer a thinner crust but this was still good with a nice chew. The only reservation I had were the chunks of chicken themselves. They were a *tad* dry but this was the last slice on the platter, so I imagine it had been there for a minute (and I knew this, so this one's on me). I'm really glad I stopped into Johnny Napkins. Now I know it's a good slice and will definitely visit any of their locations in the future.
