We placed an order online tonight and it said it would be ready within 33 minutes. Upon arrival, there was over 15 people waiting inside for their orders and looking quite irritated. When one woman asked about her order, the employee, Anthony, told her they were short-staffed and really backed up on orders. There were only two other employees in the kitchen trying to work on a ridiculous amount of orders. My husband and I have worked in restaurants for a very long time and I have to say that we have never seen someone handle so many unhappy customers in such a calm and communicative way. I thought he might be a young manager until the manager appeared, strolling around without a care in the world doing the order. Literally the kitchen is so backed up, there were pissed off people all over the dining room, the phone is ringing and she couldn't help with any of that or even bother to do what managers do, maybe damage control in that situation by atleast addressing your customers. I have been a server and a manager and have never, ever seen such a poor example of a manager helping their team or trying to fix a problem. Anthony, you are a freaking rock star and I cannot say how impressed we were with your handling of it all. You made the hour wait for our wings not so bad and our order was perfect. If I could give you 10 stars I would and the only reason I am doing less than 5 is because of the super poor performance of your so-called manager. I typically don't complain but I find it is important to save others the hassle and money. Ordered a combo and wings in store for carryout. Never got the drink cup (I admit I was distracted by the kids when leaving so forgot to ask). Usually it is given upon ordering but it wasn't. That may have been the first mistake on my part but also a red flag. Got the order. Did not open bag until we got home (2nd mistake of mine). Gave to son. He ate. I asked how it was, especially their new chicken sandwich. There hadnt been a sandwich!! Only wings (more like tenders) and fries. Then i remembered there hadn't been a drink either. So I called, thinking I'd just run and grab it, it's probably sitting on the back counter. I was put on hold for a long time. Then they got the manager (if it even was the manager) and she just disregarded my concern bc they said they put it in the bag. To me, it was very poor customer service. There was no attempt at reparations or anything. Not even an apology or concern for the customer. Just silence. So I just had to say "I'm sorry you can't help me. Have a good day." Decided yesterday i wanted wingstop, Got in the car. Drive was a bit long but i wasnt to mad about it. Ive had wingstop before so i knew good food was gonna be on the table soon. Walked in, No one inside at all just 2 employees in the back leaning against equipment. It isnt like i walked in quietly and stood in the corner, I was well within their view and even said "Hey" As i walked into the store. I stood there for the better part of 5 minutes watching them talking while i was WELL Within their view. I said "Yo" To get their attention. The dude looked over to me as if he was bothered he had to do his job and take orders. I checked it off as maybe he was having a bad day, Walks up to the register, "What" Like.. Ok? Im sorry you have to be at work and take orders sweetheart but thats how life is tough shit. After i put my order in he took off to the back for about 5 more minutes. He comes back and tells me its going to be a 35-45 minute wait. Keep in mind place is completely empty and it seems to me the only 2 employees were just standing their talking. 0 wings in the very visible fryers behind the register. Terrible customer service. We placed an order through the Wingstop online. that way by the time we got there the wings would be ready to eat in the car. The estimated time for the wings to be ready was 23 min. We got there my husband stepped in and we were told that the food wasn't even made yet. And that they would get started on the order right away. They told my husband to come back in about 15 minutes. So we waited in the car. when he went back in they still hadnt started on the order. They apologized and explained that they thought the order was canceled????? They mix it up with the previous customer who canceled their order. My husband requested that the food be free because of the inconvenience. At this point it was 1:46, and they began working on it immediately. My husband waited and watched them prepare the order. When the meal was ready and brought to the counter, my husband again asked them to give us the meal free and issue us a refund. No manager was available at the time. The cook took the food back and said it was their policy to only issue a refund but not give the meal for free. On top of that the worker ended up doing the refund as cash not back to my card. The receipt said cash, but they never gave me any cash so I had to call and speak to the manager and they ended up doing a manual refund which took a couple of days to receive. The wait time at this location It's ridiculous. Every time we place an order, we think maybe this time it will be different BUT it's the same thing over and over again. The food is never ready when it's supposed to be. They need to hire new wing expects that are responsible, fast and reliable. Either the workers are are lazy, or they need to hire more workers or open another location. If possible, in Lake Elsinore. I will continue to write reviews until this location improves. I can't be the only customer having this problem. Please write your reviews on yelp! If so they are discriminating my race/gender, and I will have to get my attorney involved. Flooring appeared to be mopped with a very greasy substance (most likely the deep fryer grease as one employee explained) fell 2x in bathroom but not injured. Then I come out to order my BBQ wings (20 piece boneless) for what is advertised for $18.95 but when he rang it up he explained my bill was for $28.95. I explained and showed him the sign above his head which showed the price to be $18.95 (or very close to that price within pennis) He told me the owner raised the price but has not gotten to changing the sign. I told him that was not going to work in his favor and explanined that the advertise price is a contact between the seller (business owner) and buyer (that be me!) I ordered a 10 classic combo half lemon pepper half original hot. I had ordered wet wings. I'm not complaining about my drink however I had specifically ordered extra season/crispy french fries and wet wings. I didn't receive any of that, I instead was given soft french fries no extra seasoning and extremely dried wings my lemon pepper didn't even have lemon pepper flavor besides the oil flavor. I had contacted Wingstop to notify them of this mistake. I gave them the option to bring the food back this weekend when I'm available, The option I gave them was to hold onto the food and the receipt till this weekend. Unfortunately they said there is nothing that they can do if I don't come back today. I had asked them if they are willing to give me gas money to make a trip down there for a mistake they had made they told me no. There was no second option other than coming back that same day. I don't live nearby and I am A stay home mom with a baby. It is extremely difficult to just pick back up again and go back down to get my food. I consider this a luxury for me to go out once a week to get fast food. I don't have the option to just drive back down. They ended up hanging up the phone on me I had to call back and ask them what the issue was and they said sorry there's nothing we can do if you don't come back today. I watched one of the girls pick up carrots with the tongs and then touch them with her bare hands after. COVID or not that is disgusting. All their employees should be wearing gloves. They just opened recently so we thought we would try them instead of wings and things. We looked on line and it said free delivery so we placed our order and waited. When it arrived my wife took everything out and they had forgotten one of our orders of wings. We called them and said they shorted our order and asked them to deliver the missing wings. They refused because they used door dash and I assume they would have to pay again. The only remedy we had was to get in the car and drive there to get the missing wings. Keep in mind this was their fault, they shorted the order and then wouldn't make it right. I will also say the rolls were horrible, extremely dry and tasteless and the fries were ice cold.
