I don't know what happened for this place to get such bad reviews, especially with the ones regarding the staff. Granted I have only been here twice and help by a total of 3 people, and they were in fact understaffed the first time, but they are very kind and are trying their best. The three seemed to be in their 20's or at least close to it, and even though they're surrounded by the grease smell all day they were some of the nicest people ever. Stopped after a soccer game and kids wanted some wings. Staff is hustling and keeping everything clean. The young lady literally walked back to the window because she caught a spot on it out of the corner of her eye. 3pm on Sunday. All the staff friendly and hard working. All the 1 star reviews are dead on. After placing an order online, wings were ready for pickup in 20 minutes. Came inside when food was supposed to be ready and had to wait an additional 50 minutes. Staff is in the back just chatting instead of actually taking orders in or cooking. You can literally drive to another location, pickup up your wings, come back. Eat them and they still won't have your wings ready here. Food was cold and soggy. How the hell you take 1hr & 10 minutes to cook wings and still mess it up. I love Wingstop. My kids love Wingstop. I try to support local business. I can no longer come to this location. I placed an order online. It was ready when I got there. That's about the only good thing I can say. They didn't have any of the drinks we wanted. The big coke machine with all the flavors and brands had raspberry or lime coke, no Fanta, no creame soda. I got home and 1 off the fries was missing. We got an empty container. I called to advise and by the time I got through the idiotic phone system I was back at the store. The guy at the counter said no problem when I told him what happened. He told me 2 minutes. As I sat there for close to 10 minutes I watched numerous flies in the kitchen. One couple was complaining because they had been there over 30 minutes. Place was not really crowded. By the looks of it, management does not review these complaints. Asked for well-done but that was obviously impossible due to them swimming in oil. My husband and I both paid an extra fee for all drums.. as you can see in the picture there's flats (what was the point of paying extra??). My carrot sticks (all 4 of them) were drowning in the container full of water. And to top it all off, BOTH drinks were wrong and had not a single ice cube. To say I'm angry is an understatement. I have never seen a business that outright refused to honor the posted price. They have a GIANT SIGN that says 60¢ boneless wings Monday and Tuesday, printed on butchers paper at the register. To the uninitiated, a boneless wing is just a little chicken nugget. Emphasis on "LITTLE". They won't honor the price, they won't take down the sign, they absolutely do not care about the fact that they are actually breaking California law by not honoring the lowest posted price. They just say "nope, the price went up to 80¢" and won't take care of it. I thought it was strange to see Wingstop empty on a Tuesday night when they are normally hopping but now I see why. Worse, we basically just gave up and paid the extra amount because it was already getting late and we didn't want to go drive around again. The chicken was dried out and terribly overcooked. Obvious that they no longer make anything fresh and these were just frozen nuggets we could have bought for a few dollars at the grocery store and air fried. We got the crew pack of 30 wings (plain) with sauce on the side. I have to admit that their wings were fried just right. It's dry and no yucky soggy skin or fat. This is my first time here paying almost $50 for 30 wings, a tray of fries (yummy and interesting flavor), some carrots and celery and a 32 ounce drink. $50 to feed 4 people and still got some leftover wings is not bad. CONDOM WRAPPER IN THE FRIES!!! My friend had ordered fries when he brought the bag in the parking lot and took out the fries, there was a condom wrapper in the fries. I brought the fries back in because that is unacceptable and just disgusting especially in the food industry. We were nice and calm until the "acting" manager was not so helpful, he did ultimately replace the fries (after us having to prove to him it wasn't us who put that in there) but when we went back later for his name, he wouldn't give it to us, saying "we're already having a shit shift" "I don't know what you want us to do" "I didn't do it, so idk what you want from me" all of those are in no way close to how a manager should act. I worked at a jack in the box as my first job and I put 100% more effort into my work and customer service than that man did (and I was NOT a manager). I placed an online order right before leaving my house to go pick up. The confirmation said it would be ready in 25-30min. That was longer than usual, but not a problem. I always set my timer so I can be there on time. I arrived 20min in and my order wasn't ready, but was told it would be another 5-10min. I was okay with that. I kept seeing orders being brought to the "ready" area on the rack and names called, but never mine, so I asked again, and still "not ready". I waited literally 25min total before the attending staff realized my order was on there "ready" area of the rack. That same bag that was handed to me sat on the rack for a long time, because I kept an eye on the orders. My food was cold and my fries were soggy. But I ate it because I didn't want to complain and ask for them to remake it. That would take another 30min to remake. This place needs to be better organized. I started this review when we had to stand and wait for the workers to notice us. 6 of them were all doing something. It would have been nice to be told "we'd be with you shortly." Instead we got stared at and waited until someone came to ask us. I guess their customer service really does suck here. I agree it's all kids who work here.. so maybe that's why. The lemon pepper at this location seems saltier than the other locations I have tried. It was difficult to eat due to the amount of salt you could taste. Because of constant reviews about getting orders wrong, we had to double check our orders. Thankfully they were all right. Instead, I forgot about checking my bleu cheese which they gave me ranch instead. Although, it's okay. It was an experience. I wanted to see if there were any changes, but I guess not. I wish I got the name of the lady who was working. She was very nice when it came to us double checking our order and even gave extra ranch to my boyfriend.
