My granddaughter wanted some wings while we were out shopping so we stopped in to Wing Stop here in Willis and upon walking in found out that they do not accept cash as a form of payment for their food. Last I checked, cash was legal tender and can be used to pay for any service or item you purchase here in the United States. We didn't like the attitude of the employee who refused our cash after taking our order, so we just walked out without a purchase and we went somewhere else that had wings and accepts my granddaughters cash. I called for a to go order and one of the workers didn't even answer properly. All I got was a "Hello?" I then asked for 10 Boneless wing combo and asked for extra ranch. I get told that the wings don't come with ranch, which I've never been told that before. I just brushed it off and continue to place my order and got told it would take 25 minutes. I get there and all 3 coworkers are just talking after I said I had a pick up order. I get handed my food and decided to check it because my bag felt lighter than last time. I looked in there and my fries were missing. They said it's because I only ordered 10 boneless wings. Appears the 10 boneless wings by themselves were $15 which was the same price that I ordered last time but fries. I kept telling them that it was suppose to come with fries and they just kept saying I ordered 10 boneless wings. I asked if I could get a refund. I was told that I couldn't get a refund because the manager wasn't there and I had to come the next day to get a refund. Just to let you know, this was supposed to be my dinner. What manager is not there when this type of problem happens? One of the coworkers goes to the back of the kitchen and says "It's not my fucking problem" Then all of a sudden that same coworker decided to be nice and finally makes my fries. I walk outside just to calm down and while I'm looking inside, one of the coworkers is dancing like he just didn't care. After I get my fries he then tells me that all of them are new. But to have layers of dust on the counter where customers get their straws napkins ect... almost every chair in the resturant feels sticky, the coke machine hasn't been whipped down in god knows how many months. Ok so two orders - mine was the usual garlic parm classic wings which are always delicious. No complaints and these wings are better than any other wing place. My hubby decided to try the 20 boneless wing special with fries. Not a good choice. There was an excessive amount of sauce on the wings and fries were soggy. The fries didn't seem to have been freshly made. Granted, we could have asked for a fresh order but did not have the want to or the time. Needless to say, he did not enjoy this meal and only ate about 1/3 of it. The staff was friendly and very respectful when addressing customers, whether on the phone or face to face. We did overhear staff conversations about difficult interactions with customers which I don't think should be for customers ears. Makes you wonder what is being said about you when you leave. I don't understand what the problem is with this Wingstop? Last year the food was horrible. I decided to give the place another chance today. I did a pick up order. When I entered no one greeted me. I get to the counter still no greeting. I state that I am here for a pick up and my name. He handed me a bag. I asked where is my cup he handed me a cup. I get home and food is missing. I should have checked before I left. I should have known because I had to ask for my cup. I will never eat here again. I don't know if it's the workers or the management but this is ridiculous. Incredibly disappointed with this location. My husband and I came into this wing stop about 7:25PM and there was no one in the store when we came in. Placed 2 orders and waited over 50 minutes before being served. When we asked the front desk lady why 6 Uber eats order were prioritized over us, she said "that's just how it is. They're our priority customers." We will absolutely not be stopping here again. I highly recommend you take your business somewhere else. Regardless of if you're short staffed, there should be at least one person dedicated to serving those that are IN YOUR STORE, NOT just online orders. read more
