I would not recommend buying car here. Since my husband and I have, this process has been nothing but unprofessional, a waste of time and quite frankly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. This was my first time buying a car and it was horrible. My husband bought a car earlier in the summer at a different place and the process was so wonderful, the workers professional and it was seamless. We have been trying to get my plates since September and dozens of phone calls, visits, EXCUSES, forgetting to send them, forgetting to submit paperwork - we finally have them. Brought a truck here from another dealer and they "claimed" they had worked out the details and the other dealer would pay I just had to pay them and take my receipt to the other dealer. If I could give zero stars, I would. Don't waste your time or money at this dealership. This is going to be a long post, but please read all of it, so you can save yourself a lot of problems! They have horrible customer service and claim that all of their cars meet high quality standards. I bought a used car from them back in May, and when we went in to sign the paperwork, that should have been our first sign how bad they were. We were told that we "had" to come in to sign the paperwork that evening, or they couldn't guarantee that the vehicle wouldn't be sold if we waited any longer. Well, to make a long story short, we spent over 3 hours waiting and waiting for the paperwork to be ready, and were given every excuse in the book about why we had to wait so long. Then because the paperwork took so long that evening, my vehicle could not be detailed, and I was told to come back another time to get it detailed. They didn't even take the price detail sticker off! Well, I made the detail appointment and wasted my gas driving there. The detail job was only a quick wipe down, wash and vacuum. Again, very disappointing! Next problem was the registration and tags. I live in MD, and was given a temporary tag through July. When July came I called several times asking if my tags were ready. Each time I was told MD tags take a while. So, the day of my temporary tag expiration came, and I called once again, to be told that "Oh, since you live in MD, your car has to be inspected in MD" Really!!?? It took them this long to figure this out, after I had called them several times inquiring about my tags! Then just last week, after only 2.5 months after purchasing this vehicle fro them, I was told at a lube and oil change appointment that I needed 2 new rear tires because the belts in the tires were busted. WHAT?! The car only has 20,000 miles on it! How on earth would I need 2 new tires already?!? Of course, I called the dealership to speak to them about it. I left numerous messages and to this day have only received 1 phone call back and was told they would check into it and call me back. Well, I guess they are still checking a week later, because I still have not received that phone call back, even after calling and leaving messages for them, and being disconnected by the receptionist! I have also emailed and only received one response back from my salesman and that email was he was going to check on the issue, yet I still have not received any email back to him either! My husband took it upon himself to stop by the dealership to speak to the manager. Of course, they claim that it is "normal" wear and tear on the tires and it is our fault because we put miles on the car. Hello! Isn't that what cars are made for...driving?!? I live and work in a rural area, and I have 2 young and active kids, so of course I am going to put miles on my car, but not so many that it would require 2 new tires after owning it for only 2.5 months! They refused to put new tires on, and offered us a "discount" on the tires. Ha! That's such an insult and joke! I am not giving them another penny. Bottom line is, they sold me a vehicle with 2 bad tires. I even took my vehicle in to them for an alignment. You would think they would have realized it them. So, after letting my car sit in my driveway for 3 days for fear my tires would blow out on me, I bit the bullet and took my car and had to pay $350 out of my pocket to put tires on my new car! Always a bad experience every time I take a vehicle in for service. Not able to rotate tires. Having to order parts, but never letting me know it was going to take 3 to 5 business days. Are just a few examples. Unfortunately it's a brand new 2017 vehicle so everything should be under warranty or I would be going elsewhere. Avoid this place if at all possible. read more

WORST. SERVICE. EVER. We made arrangements WEEKS in advance for ball joint replacement on our camper. We were told it would take 4 hours, and we made the appointment for 9am. We were on a very tight schedule, so they said if we brought it in at 7, they could start before then. On the way, we found 1 of our tires was flat. They were going to replace all 6 of them, but...oops, they didn't have any in stock. So my husband offered to go 1/4 mile away and buy the tires and have Winner put them on. We were watching the inaction out in the shop ALL DAY! The guy "working" on our camper would come over to it, take off a lug nut and disappear for 10 minutes. We complained to the general manager, and while we were talking to him, the LIAR came over to plead his case. He told me at 12:30 that it would take 2 hours to put the tires on and do an alignment. Well, at 4pm, they were still not done. 7am to 4pm for a 4 hour job??? I went into the "service manager's" office and told him how unsatisfactory the service was, and he sat there just BLINKING AT ME!!!! At 4:30, they took the camper to do the alignment and hit the bar hung from the ceiling to show the height with the a/c unit on top of the camper! The "service manager " then tells us he can't do the alignment and sends us on our way. The general manager took 10% off the bill for us being there from 7am to 5pm! Needless to say, we will NEVER GO BACK THERE, NOR WILL WE BUY A FORD!! Wish I could give it 0 stars! read more

I took my van in to get a recall on it fixed the torque converter. I went to pick it up tire was flat, they had locked my steering wheel and the battery was dead. As I was driving home the transmission light started to flash I called them and they said it was the tire light. Then after 50 miles of driving it the check engine light came on. So I waited to drive it till I got my tire fixed. I took it to NAPA and they read the codes on it, now it has six codes on it all related to the transmission and they won't fixe it. Its all sensor, want over 300 to fix it just a big scam. Don't go there. read more

Run for the hills folks prior to getting sucked dry for profits well before service. I took my sonata in after it was spewing oil due to a recalled line leading to the turbo that was faulty.. I knew this because I went to a great mechanic who looked it over, called Preston Hyundai and was told it's a recall on the car.. living closer to Dover I scheduled a repair at Winner and what a shocking experience! I'm quickly approached by a "service writer" who tells me I need to sign an agreement and it's $150 to even look at the car.. no "good afternoon sir, I'm so & so, I understand you're here for a warranty recall, but is $150 for the diagnostic" guy was straight jerk and it was clear the game here... sign for $150 for a 10 minute diagnostic, slam you with another bill for what should be recall service and put profit long before even decent customer care. I wouldn't even think about visiting this place again. No question this sleazy practice is common place here because EVERYONE could hear how I was being treated. I walked out, called Preston and confirmed the problem my mechanic discussed with the service writer and confirmed it is related to the recall and is covered by Hyundai. Was also told I have 2 other recent recalls that need to be addressed; scheduled a visit with Preston the very next day and on the way to having the car operating properly again. I have never written a 1 star review and I promise you that the way I was treated left me upset for hours after, what makes me more upset is this unbelievable tactic is a PRACTICE at winner Hyundai to other customers who don't have the inner strength to tell the bully no, sign and get totally screwed. Guess who will be in the market for a new car in about 12 months?? As if they care but I'm taking my 40k somewhere else read more

After more than 25 years and 19 cars bought, the winner group has finally managed to push me away. I have dealt with the same salesperson for 25 years, bought 19 cars from him and after a new management leadership paradigm, I am finally done with these morons. Not only have I bought that many, I have brought another 50+ people to the dealer. Only to have them low ball me on my trade by $3500 and try and overvalue their car by $4000. To call it a sales strategy is an insult to anyone with half a brain. I am finished with these people, and I hope I can encourage others to go elsewhere. When JOhn Hynanski ran this company, they were fair and treated people with the respect they deserved, since his son has taken over, its about money period. I drive Fords and thought that taking my cars to a dealer for an oil change would be better than one of the chains. I could be wrong. The manufacturer recommends the amount of oil for each of my vehicles but they manage to put an extra qt in each one. It's funny that it took the right amount the last 2 times it was there but suddenly the oil capacity grew this time. The manager tried to justify it but I'm not stupid, either it takes 5 like book says or 6 like they put in, it shouldn't fluctuate with each oil change if they know what they're doing. Winner Service did an excellent job servicing my F150. The turn-around time was great. They kept me updated as needed. I felt the repair cost was a bit more than it should be but I suspect it would have been the same or more somewhere else as all repairs are expensive. I see some bad reviews from others but quite honestly, I thought they did a great job and would take my vehicle back for service/repair. I have to also say that the Service Lady that called me with the cost before hand and updated me afterwards was very, very friendly and professional and I did enjoy working through her. read more

Took car for service on 10/2 got car back on 10/4 radio didnt work called right away they said to bring back, took back on 10/10 they said they fixed it, an hour later same problem, now service manager holly says i need a battery that they replaced on 10/2, so now I need a new radio 1500 new 700 ish used, when I took the car in the radio worked now it dosen't work they way it did when I took it in so it's my fault. Very bad customer service. They messed up the payoff on vehicle and tried for over an hour to get a person on telephone. When finally did they took info and send would call me back with answer on Monday. No answer by Tuesday, called back and was told ALL persons were in a meeting and there was NO one I could talk to. I had the absolute best purchasing experience. My salesman Keith was very knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process so I knew exactly what was going on every step of the way.The sales manager Adrian was the most helpful and encouraging member of the Winner team. He was able to get me approved for a loan although i was discouraged about my credit being virtually non existent . I could tell that they were more than just concerned about selling me a vehicle. My husband, two children (under 10) and I live in CT. We were at our summer home in Fenwick Island DE to celebrate the New Year. Over the weekend of January 1, 2016 we heard a clicking in our engine. On Sunday, January 3, we found an open garage and asked the mechanic to take a look at the car and see if he could determine what the clicking was from. He did and he suggested we wait until Monday and take it to a Hyundai dealership before trying to drive it back to CT. That is what we did. We stayed an extra night, took a day off of work and kept our children from school. We brought the car in first thing Monday, 01/04, morning to the Dover dealership. My husband checked the oil before we left the house (because the mechanic told us there appeared to be a leak in the gasket) and we were only down about 1/4 of a quart. Drove the car to the Dover Dealership. Your service people/mechanics looked at the car drained the oil without checking how much was in the car (which is what we were told by the GM, Mark) and gave us the green light to head home to CT. We were charged $35 and change. I asked, specifically, are you sure the car is alright to drive to CT I have two small children and would hate to get caught on the highway home. I was assured the car was safe but was told to bring it to our Hyundai dealership in CT when we could. We thanked everyone got in the car and headed for home. As we drove off the car was making a worse noise then when we brought it in for service. We made it 12 miles down the road and the car died, in the middle of an intersection with my two boys. We called the dealership we just left, 15 minutes ago, and were told you couldn't help us. No tow truck, no ride, no nothing. we were stuck on our own with a dead car. we called and got a flatbed to bring the car back to your dealership and waited the rest of the afternoon to be told you could not lend us a car and the engine was shot. After going back and forth a car was finally provided to us so we could return to our summer home in Fenwick for the night. The next morning, 01/05, we returned to the dealership and we were told, in confidence that the Santa Fe's were being recalled at the end of the month for engine problems. We were also told that most likely (90% sure...not to worry) the engine and car rental (to get back to CT) would all be covered by Hyundai. All good news. We rented a car and went home to CT. Friday, 01/08, my husband received a call that the recall and or the warranty (which is the reason we went with Hyundai to begin with) would not be honored and the engine was our problem. I was shocked and devastated. My husband and I looked long and hard at several other cars and the deal that Hyundai presented to us, full warranty for 100,000 miles or less, road side service and a loaner car made it a no brainer for us to purchase a Santa Fe. For the safety of our family we were willing to spend more money. I am so upset and disappointed that this is not being honored. I have already spoken with attorneys on how to proceed and I will not let this rest. I will be sure to let everyone I know and communicate with to never, ever purchase a Hyundai for they do NOT stand true to their word. I have had several cars in my adult life and this is by far the worst experience I have EVER had. read more

Uses deceptive advertising to lure customers to the showroom. Went there recently after finding a Veloster on line with an advertised price of just over 15k. Ad simply said "Total savings" which was deducted from the original price. No fine print or disclaimers...Got there and the car "had just been sold" but they had another that was only $100 more (in the ad online)... It ended up being THOUSANDS more than advertised. I told them I had based my visit on the advertised price, not the price they were now quoting... Salesman was nice enough but he had to go with whatever the sales manager (who didn't even bother to come over) gave him. Went home and salesman called me back saying they were going to do whatever they could to bring the car in at my budgeted price and call me "tomorrow"... I ended up having to call them and the salesman then said the manager couldn't do any better because they were already losing money on the car?? even though they were selling it to me for more than the web advertised price. What a crock. Oh well, at least I got a $50 gift card for the test drive. read more
