I was in town visiting friends when we decided to order pizza for delivery. I had never heard of the place, which was actually good news- pizza chains often lack freshness and true flavor. The pizza arrived quickly and HOT. And I do mean hot, not just warm. Things were already off to a great start as a to-die-for aroma filled the room. We ordered two stuffed crust pizzas, each dripping with gooey, perfectly melted cheese. The spinach alfredo pie was incredible...the flavors were intense and the sauce was heavenly. Again, I'm glad this place isn't a chain, but man I wish there was a location near us...I'd order often. read more

Ordered a large Hawaiian pizza and it was great! Canadian bacon and pineapples with lots of cheese was perfect. The bread was a little tough but the toppings were great! The wings on the side were very good. All meat and crispy! read more

FANTASTIC pizza, our new favorite in northwest Houston. The cheese blend and sauce are excellent. The salads we've had were meh, though. It's an off-putting total dive take-out joint with no seating so don't go here for dinner out. It took us ten years to try it and then only after a neighbor brought one of their pizzas over. (Ten years wasted ordering take-out from an inferior nearby chain - waaah!) Usually my husband picks up but I went last week and the well-dressed man also waiting commented it is one of the best "unknown" pizza places in Houston. We ordered our last pizza from Winner's/Spinner's during the NFL playoffs last weekend. We stopped ordering from Sicily for the same reason: COLD delivery NO CHEESE! How can you make a pizza with just dough? They did! It was a veggie pizza, dry, scant cheese, maybe three slices of each vegetable. I'm not going to bother to complain to anyone who can't be bothered to put cheese and sauce on their pizza. read more

Winners is one of my favorite pizza places to eat there delivery is always super fast and there wings are some of the best out there ! A friend of mines ordered a pizza and spaghetti meal today and let me tell you......it was nasty. The spaghetti was spoiled with a bunch of juice from the pasta and the meatballs had freezer burns! Sick!!! The pizza crust was over cooked and cold. Dominos and Pizza Hut is definitely better. Never sending business to winners ever again. read more

Everytime I order delivery from here they are rude. They drop my food off in front of my door and call saying they dropped it off. I used to work in food service, so I try to be understanding but this is ridiculous. When I called back asking why they dropped it off they claimed that no one answered the door, but I was several feet away and heard nothing. read more

Ordered a medium 3 topping pizza, 6 pack wings and a side salad. Everything was excellent! I sure wish I would not order local pizza when traveling as this is what I get for it. Best pizza I have had in some time and cannot get it when I return home. Pizza dough was so chewy and the topping were perfect. Wings were supposed to be fire wings but I think they gave me the mild but they were awesome! Not fried and seemed to be grilled. Salad was also excellent! i only had the wings but it was pretty good, i mean the portion size was huge! i thought that the wings would be small but they turned out to be huge, anyways it gets a 3 star because of its portion size and the taste of the wings, the service is horrible, took them 2 hours to deliver even though its only a mile away from my place. will not order from this place again but it is definitely worth a try if your a wings lover read more

We live close by and tried this place out recently. The person I spoke to on the phone and the delivery driver were both super nice. We ordered their two large 3 topping pizza deal and we were very happy. I honestly think we cracked the pizza code and found the best combination ever: the pizza we ordered with eggplant, spinach, and garlic (had to specially request it) was SO GOOD. The people we had over that night were raving about it. All of the ingredients were quality and I thought the crust had a good taste and texture. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that it's a little pricey for an average night. But, I understand it's not a chain. Will definitely be ordering often. read more

So my brother ordered pizza there a few weeks ago and and I had one I thought wow this pizza is good , I'm at home just delivered my baby 3 days ago so can't do much I order a pepperoni pizza at 9:00 so it gets here at 10:00 I don't really care that it took long to get here so I open it up and it's not the right pizza... I call and they tell me oh sorry it might have been the driver let me call u back in 5 mins and I'll fix it , no big deal 30 mins go by no call so it's already 10:30 (they close at 10) I call back again and the guy answers and says oh well we all left I can't do anything.. 1st of all u couldve freaking fixed it the 1st time I called or been like oh I'm sorry I'll refund ur money since everyone left for the day. that is horrible restaurant service and I would know I graduated with a degree in the restaurant Industry. If I could do NO star, I would. I signed up JUST to warn everyone about this establishment. So after waiting over an hour for the pizza to arrive, I get inside to open the box and what do I see? A baby freaking roach just walking along the edge of the crust. Talk about immediately disgusted!!! So of course I kill it because I don't want that thing crawling around my clean kitchen. I'm thinking to myself, well okay, I can at least enjoy the soda since it feels cold. Pick up the bag off the counter to find a smooshed and slightly bigger yet still pretty small, dead roach. Great. That's 2 strikes. At this point I didn't even want to deal with this place anymore. It wasn't even worth a call back for my money. I just chalked it up to a loss. I reopen the box to look at the pizza (that actually looked pretty decent) to find another little bug emerging from underneath the pizza... this time it was a knat that was trying so hard to fly out of the box. This is only the second time I have ordered from this place. The first time the pizza wasn't my favorite so this time I ordered the chicken Caesar, chicken wings and pizza rolls. I ordered through the app slice which is also how they say in their website to order. I was given a 30-45 minute window and called the store after an hour and fifteen minutes. They asked my address and said it was on the way and they had told slice to inform me they were having extended times. Another fifteen minutes later I get delivered the small salad and wings but no rolls driver said they were out of the rolls. Called the store to complain and again they said they informed slice and that slice should have informed me. I called slice and they said none had informed them of anything. Totally upset now I sat down to eat what little food I had and the wings were totally subpar with soggy skin. The chicken in the salad was dried out and looked as if it had been cooked before I even ordered and hour and a half before. This place will definitely not be getting a chance for a third strike. Dishonest and total failures in the food. Definitely not a 'winner'. read more

i ordered the eggplant parmigiana and regretted it as soon as i took the first bite. the eggplant was either bad or frozen, it had this horrible aftertaste. maybe i should've ordered a pizza, since it is a pizza place, so i'll give them the benefit of that and add another star, but i definitely wouldn't recommend ordering anything else. read more

CUSTOMER WARNING......DON'T ORDER ANY PASTA!!!! I've been a customer of Winner's Pizza off and on for a couple years now. The majority of the time I order the wings and they are decent. I was shocked by what happened yesterday when I tried to order spaghetti from this establishment. I called in an order of spaghetti for 2. I was told the order would be ready in 15-20mins. I went there 20mins later and was told by the owner that it would be 2 more mins. I wasn't upset about the wait, however, I was upset about what I witnessed next. The owner went to the back and used the microwave to heat my order!!!!! HE REHEATED MY "MADE TO ORDER" FOOD IN STYROFOAM TAKEOUT CONTAINERS!!!!!! Microwaving food in styrofoam can be harmful to your health!!!! When I asked him about why he was heating my food in the microwave.....his reply "The noodles aren't hot!!!" My meatballs and sauce were obviously not hot either because he was reheating that in the microwave also. I will never ever order from this establishment again. read more
