Don't ever order from Winners Pizza on Fairbanks. We've ordered from them for years! And I mean years....today the girl who delivered just left it at the door because we didn't hear her "knock" and we didn't request for the pizza to be just left at the door. She told her boss she was out there for 10 mins when in reality she was out there a whole 22 efn Seconds. Needless to 0 app said "ON THE WAY" but when we figured it's been long enough, we checked outside, and the pizza is covered in ants. Instead of the owner or manager making it right and just sending another pizza, he argued with me about it and stated the girl called us and was out there knocking for 10 minutes. Negative! I'm all for employers having their employees back, but how the hell are you going to argue with me about a 21 dollar order and I've never complained or not tipped for their services. Sad that this is the outcome, but I hope it was worth losing a loyal customer over the need to feel to win an argument that could have been solved by a simple "I'm sorry Or even "how can we make this right. Sir, I don't want a free meal, I just want to be able to consume what I paid for. If I was paying cash, would you have left the pizza there on the floor? Anywno, do better Winner's pizza. You are a small local business that we chose over large franchises on the same street. You need those 21 bucks that bad? Go ahead, keep it. Having a craving for italian for lunch & was in the area for a meeting. Had the chicken lasagna, it was awesome! Plenty of sauce, loads of cheese, chicken everywhere, big pieces! It was very filling & I have leftovers for dinner. Definitely will be ordering the lasagna again when the craving hits. BETTER THAN OLIVE GARDEN!!! They have the best pizza ever! The cheese is so hot and stringy and melted to perfection. You get the beautiful cheese-pull as you dive into your pizza and much to your surprise, it tastes just as good as it looks. I haven't had anything else on their menu because their pizza is to die for, but I do look forward to trying other items in the future. I'm not a pizza fan because I feel it's too boring and overrated, so for me to be obsessed with their pizza says a lot. read more

We use to order from another place, but they were closed and we decided to order from here, which it wasn't our first time. we order our usual pizza order, but when I went to pick it up, it was not ready but was in the oven, so I wait inside there and watched them make pizza. Let me say that the smell of the place was most definitely not appealing and The guy who is putting all the ingredients on our pizza had a rash on his wrist by his palm and he was shoving cheese on the pizza and his rash was touching the cheese. When I got my family's pizza home and opened it up the first slice had a long piece of hair in it. I called to let them know but all they offered was a new pizza, which I did not want because of the guy with the rash and the smell of the pizza place. I would give it a negative one if I could but I'm surprised that they're still open and the health inspector haven't shut them down. read more

By far the best pizza in Houston I have ever had. The pizza here is so delicious. The delivery service usually does take some time 45min-1hr, but I don't ever mind doing pick up for a faster service. 10/10 read more

Decent food. It really agitates me when a restaurant posts certain hours, then close at random times. I order from here 2 or 3 times a month. Tonight is the 4th or 5th time they decided to close 30-90 minutes early. It's really annoying when you're in the mood for something and posted hours are not honored. Shame I have to find a new place. read more

Winner's Pizza is a great local pizza place. I really like the pizza and the staff has always been friendly and willing to work on problems. Today I had an issue ordering from Winner's with the Grubhub site. I have always ordered delivery and didn't do anything different on this order, but somehow Grubhub indicated to Winners that my order was pickup. This turned into a huge hassle, and Grubhub customer service (I use that term loosely) got Winner's to remake my order and deliver. But I found that Grubhub didn't compensate Winner's fully for the first pizza (it got cold during all the back-and-forth phone calls), telling them it was my fault. So Winner's was very gracious in making another pizza and rushing it to my house (by this time I'd been waiting an hour for my food) without charging me for the second pizza. Long story short is that I am going to call in and pay the difference for the first pizza anyway, as I feel that's the right thing to do. I'm supposed to get a refund from Grubhub for the first pizza so we will see. So thanks for being cool, Winner's staff. It's really appreciated, but I don't want Grubhub to stiff you guys. I will call in directly when I want one of your great pizzas. read more

I use to get pizza here when I was a teen, hadn't eaten there in years, and still amazing!.. I ordered a large cheese and pepperoni, super cheesy and the yellow peppers pair perfect!.. I also got an order of fries, nothing to brag about but the kids love fries period lol, Fried mushrooms were really good, wish I ordered marinara sauce but I dipped them in ranch and garlic sauce either way! Buffalo wing were really good.. pretty decent size!.. not tinny like big chain pizza places.. over all I loved it, will definitely be coming back more often! read more

Winners at making pizza! I have made 3 pizza delivery orders in the last 90 days. The order has always been correct. When I ask for a specific delivery time, the order is always delivered on time. The food has always arrived out-of-the-oven-hot. I ordered a thin crust pepperoni with extra cheese, well done (crispy), and they made it perfectly. They deliver to the Bandit Disc Golf Course on Loren Lane. The Supreme Pizza on regular crust is also very good. I will be ordering from here again for delivery to the disc golf course for after the round eats. read more

Greatest pizza in area. Most of my diet cheat days go to Winner's. Haven't done sides or wings too much so cannot comment on those. They were having trouble with suppliers for salads, so I wouldn't depend on getting a salad. I get the Supreme. The crust is perfect, not soggy like the second best pizza joint in the area, but not overcooked either. Generous cheese. Love it! read more

I was very pleased with this experience. #1 delivery is free! #2 delivery was fast #3 food arrived HOT #4 quality ingredients #5 good value I had pizza from another place nearby and the experience was awful (see my Sarpino's review). I come to Houston and stay in the same hotel every 6-8 weeks. This will be my official go to when here for pizza delivery. If I had to give a negative, the crust could have been cooked another 2 minutes maybe but regardless it was good and I liked it. read more

Totally impressed , it's kind of a small shop mom & pop place really no place to sit but hold your horses cause they have an outstanding pizza & a great calzón . Well worth the money & the service was quick & friendly. You can't go wrong with this place. I live on the other side of town & was over seeing a job & bought the food for my guys but rest assured that I will make the 30 min trip just to share this great food with my wife. read more

During these difficult times due to COVID-19 we are forced to stay at home (with good reason) and I decided to try this new pizza place the other day (delivery) and my son and I were very happy! The pizza was good and hot! It came even earlier than the app said it would AND they practiced social DISTANCING ( knocked on door, left pizza, and i got a phone call)! Great job! We were walk-in customers. We are in Houston on vacation and staying close by. Counter staff was friendly and service was fast. We got a large pizza for $8. Large is more like a medium where I'm from, but it served two hungry travelers and we were stuffed! Basic cheese pizza but it was delicious. Lots of the negative reviews seem to center around delivery but we can't speak to that. Courteous counter help, great price, and really good pizza was our experience. read more

I was at work in the area and my shift got extended. (1pm-6pm but ended up working 1pm-6am) I got hungry and looked for something with a cheap minimum delivery. Ordered Friday night, a medium cheese pizza with a large order of fries and 12pc cheese sticks. Order did not arrive until 20 min after the store closed, the fries were completely uncooked and drenched in oil, the fried cheese was also under cooked and the cheese did not even melt was still cool in the center. The pizza was the only thing edible that I got that night and it was only ok quality. Will avoid this place in the future, you do not tell the customer that you are the manager on a delivery and that you closed the shop before you delivered my order, especially when I was calling for 15min before you show up with my order. read more

I ordered mild wings and fried mushrooms this evening. The wings are blackened and dry. The mushrooms have no sauce. I called and got passed around on the phone and wound up with a female who told me that's how the mild wings come. She was more interested in telling me that they were as they should be than making it right. I have enjoyed their pizza and lasagna and chicken Alfredo but I guess I will be checking the orders before I pay and tip the deliverer from now on. It took 1 hour to get our pizza last night...when it got here, we were not impressed for several reasons. One, it seemed like pizza you would get at Chucky cheese. Nothing special. Worse part?
